Sometimes, teeth become fractured by trauma, grinding, or biting on hard objects. In other cases, fillings, crowns, and other restorative devices can be damaged or fall out of the mouth completely. If there is severe pain, it is essential to contact our office immediately. The pain caused by dental emergencies almost always gets worse without treatment, and dental issues can seriously jeopardize physical health.
If a tooth has been avulsed, it is essential to see a dentist immediately. When a tooth exits the mouth, tissues, nerves, and blood vessels become damaged. If the tooth can be placed back into its socket within an hour, there is a chance the tissues will grow to support the tooth once again.
Usually, a crown or filling comes loose while eating. Once it is out of the mouth, the affected tooth may be incredibly sensitive to temperature changes and pressure. Crowns generally become loose because the tooth beneath is decaying. The decay causes shape changes in the teeth meaning that the crown no longer fits.
The nature of the break or fracture will limit what we are able to do. If a fracture or crack extends into the root, root canal therapy is often the most effective way to retain the tooth. In the case of a complete break, your dentist will usually affix the fragment back onto the tooth as a temporary measure.
When a tooth has been dislodged or loosened from its socket by trauma or decay, it might be possible to save it. If the tooth remains in the mouth still attached to the blood vessels and nerves, there is a good chance root canal therapy will not be necessary.
Dental implants are a replacement for natural tooth roots, without which the jawbone can shrink. Unlike traditional dentures or dental bridges, dental implants can prevent jawbone shrinkage and the unwanted physical appearances of this malady. Any person who is missing one or more teeth is a candidate for dental implants. In a situation where there are one or a number of missing teeth, dental implants work to help preserve the surrounding natural teeth without having to grind them down to be used as anchors for dental bridges. Additionally, dental implants are a more permanent solution, as there are no loose parts or adjustments to be made.
Replacement teeth, as supported by dental implants, have all of the look and function of normal teeth. Chewing capacity is not diminished, meaning that you can eat and drink as you normally would. Furthermore, your dental implants and replacement teeth will allow you to smile again as normal.

Best experience I had with a dentist. I could brag about them all day. But, I'll keep this short by saying they're extremely attentive, caring, and careful when working. She took in consideration my pain, my needs and was very kind in the whole process. She kept making sure I wasn't in pain, was very considerate of my jaw issues and I was able to watch Netflix while having my teeth cared for.

Hello, I'm writing this because everyone should know about the excellent staff in this office. The front desk ladies we're very kind to answer all my questions and greet me with their big smiles even through de mask. Doctor Jair, was very Kind and let me to believe in hopo for my dental health. The dental assistants always were checking on me which is nice I get very anxious in the office. Doctor Jair have angel hands and make you feel pain less. Thank you again.

I have been a loyal Dental Devotion patient for years. Really clean and beautiful practice in a super convenient location. Dr. Movaghari and Dr. Urteaga are very kind and helpful, and all of the hygienists and office staff are wonderful. Highly recommend!

As someone who is always nervous about going to the dentist, I can honestly say this is the best dental practice I have ever visited. They are always friendly and take extra care to address any concerns or to provide advice and are not pushy about elective procedures. I would definitely recommend them!

I usually don't like to go to the dentist, too much stress. I came to Dental Devotion because of a friend. My first appointment was a nice experience, the chairs super relaxing :), the employees very kind and explain the procedures. The dentist was amazing, he took the time to explain what he found, what it is a priority to do and what can wait. I felt his honesty about my treatment, it was not just a business and getting money. Thanks! I 100% recommend them, I am going to bring my daughter and my husband too.

Been going to dental devotion for a while, and they're always amazing. I doze off in my chair every time. Leaving this review, because I had zoom teeth whitening done. First picture is before the procedure, exaggerated so you can see my teeth. Second and third pic is the aftermath. Looks amazing, and even in low lighting, the results are dramatic! Would give 6 stars if I can :). PS: The person who did my teeth was Ilham. she was great and made the procedure more enjoyable

Today, Feb 15, 2022, I had an appointment at Dental Devotion. This is an excellent office - everyone is friendly, professional and caring. The dental services are excellent with amazing technology.. I look forward to my appointments. I totally appreciate that Dr. Urteaga is conservative in recommending procedures. For example, one dentist, a few years ago told me that I needed to replace a crown immediately. When I started going to Dental Devotion, Dr. Urteaga said there was no need to replace the crown immediately and he kept an eye on the crown every visit. He was right - when we finally replaced the crown, it was years after the first dentist said it was an immediate fix. Best part of going to Dental Devotion is that it feels like being with a family who cares about my well-being.
