It might be a little old-fashioned, but a smile goes a long way toward letting you know everythings going to be okay. Whether youre here for a routine checkup, a scheduled cleaning or tooth repair, to diagnose tooth or gum pain, or for a procedure that may take a visit or two, a smile is where we start.
Dr. Heather performs a wide, deep variety of dental procedures and works directly with patients of all ages. Each person who comes in here has a different set of unique dental challenges, anxiety or concern.
She attended the Western School of Health and Business and believes, quite simply, that improving dental health is a key part of maintaining overall health and wellness. Kelly is married and has one lovely daughter, lives in West Newton and enjoys camping, 4-wheeling and spending time with her family.
A drive for a career change in 2014 began with on-the-job training in assisting at a trusted dental practice in Dormont, PA before joining Dental Designs. Along the way, Denise has acquired her RHS Certificate (Radiation Health & Safety) through independent studies that will culminate in earning her CDA Certificate (Certified Dental Assistant) by the end of 2020.
Denise holds a Business Management Degree from Point Park University, and loves seeing the transformation of patients who had previously been embarrassed to smile; helping them regain confidence while restoring their overall dental health. An avid cook and baker, Denise enjoys fishing, biking and spending time with her dogs and her husband.
Taylor is beginning her professional career here at Dental Designs and we couldnt be more thrilled. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, Taylor works across the entirety of our practice whether its a thorough cleaning, periodontal screening, dental imaging and recording, or with just about anything we can do to help you brighten, strengthen or support your smile and overall dental health.
She holds a Bachelors and Associates Degree from the Sarah Whitaker Glass School of Dental Hygiene at West Liberty University, and already has her sights set on earning her Masters in Dental Hygiene. Taylor is most definitely a people person who enjoys interacting with patients and teaching them how to better take care of, and love, their smiles.
Theres very little that Mary Ann (affectionately known as Beaver) hasnt seen or done inside of a dental practice as a Dental Assistant over the course of her remarkable 43 years of experience. From tenured work within orthodontic practices, general dentistry practices and service with the National Guard, Beaver brings unmatched hands-on experience to Dental Designs.
Mary Ann (Beaver) has worked side by side with broad array of orthodontists and dentists and has seen just about every kind of smile imaginable and still gets incredible satisfaction from simply helping people smile with confidence once again. Beaver brings a warmth and understanding to our practice we cherish. A Washington, PA native, she has three grown children and two grandchildren.

Dr. Heather and the whole staff are truly amazing. They listen and are understanding and supportive. I have suffered from issues with my 4 front teeth since I was 6 yrs old. Finally, thanks to the spectacular work of Dental Designs, I have a smile I can flash proudly!

It's a very nice dental because Dr. McVay was very extremely nice to have me come in on Wednesday August 19th 2020 3:39 PM to meet her and her team on a meet greet tour during that she was very nice to explain to me how her dental works then she told me that she was very thankful to have me with her which made me feel really appreciate her then i was very glad to have her as my new first female dental then on Thursday October 1st At 1:51 PM When I Had My 1st Dental Check Up With Her It Made Me Feel Relax And Very Thankful To Have Her Heather McVay As A Perfect Dental And She Is Very Very Extremely Nice And It Was A Perfect Dental Place For Me To See Her For My Dental And Teeth Appointments Then During My 1st Check Up With Her She Explains To Me That I Had Gum Diseases Then She Very Nicely Explains To Me That 1 Or 2 Or 3 & 4 Regular Dr. Peppers Can Give Me Cavities Which I UnderStand What She Is Saying To Help Me Understand Her So I Do Recommend Seeing Her

WOW, is all I can say. I have been to a few dentist in my day but this place is the absolute best. I love Dr. McVay's honesty, her work is great, the staff is wonderful and so friendly. To anyone looking for an awesome dentist look no further, she is right here in Washington, PA and we are lucky to have her.

The best dental office in the area. Young staff who know what they are doing. Friendly and professional. Clean office. They have modern technology and work quick and with minimun discomfort.
