When she was only four years old, Dr. Shetty fell on a brick fireplace hearth and knocked out her two upper front teeth in fact, she still has a scar on her chin from it! Then, many years later, her younger brother tried to jump into a van and missed, leaving his front tooth very loose. Their dad pushed it back into place, and the dentist called it a miracle tooth because it stayed in. Even as an adult, she remembers both of these events very clearly and thinks they subconsciously guided her towards dentistry.
Eventually, it was Dr. Shettys mother who saw her potential and encouraged her to apply to BUs accelerated dental program, where she could work through college and dental school at the same time. Mothers know their kids best sometimes, after all. As it turned out, oral healthcare was the right fit for Dr. Shettys love of science and problem-solving. Today, shes so grateful to be able to impact peoples lives meaningfully while also getting to own her own business.
As already mentioned above, Dr. Shetty attended the accelerated dental program at Boston University. She majored in science with a minor in East Asian Studies and then pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, she completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) from New Jersey Dental School. She also has attended state-of-the-art training at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute and is a current member of the Spear Education Consortium.
Dr. Shetty is happy to be married to a great guy who helps hold down the fort at home, and they have two sons who keep her on her toes, as a well as a cuddly dog who makes her smile every night when she walks through the front door. As for personal hobbies, she enjoys watching movies (although she doesnt get to see as many as she used to), teaching herself about digital photography and Adobe Photoshop in the iPhone age, and being a big foodie and craft cocktail amateur. If YouTube existed when she was little, she may have become an online movie reviewer instead of a dentist! Another early career option was a veterinarian but sadly, shes allergic to cats.
Dr. Braga believes that dentistry is an excellent blend of vital healthcare that improves lives and good old-fashioned creativity. This field is a great fit for his strengths and with over 25 years of experience so far, he still loves going into work every day!
Dr. Braga graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University with degrees in Biology and French. He then pursued his dental doctorate at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1994. He also underwent his residency program in Periodontics at Harvard in 1996, earning his Certificate in Periodontology and Master of Medical Sciences Degree, Magna Cum Laude. Today, he continues to pursue new educational opportunities and is an avid dental laser clinician, having extensively used ND:Yag lasers, the LANAP Protocol, and carbon dioxide and diode lasers. He is also a proud member of the American Academy of Periodontology.

I have never had such a calming, reassuring, and relaxing experience in my entire life! These girls are absolutely amazing! I had not been seen in 10+ years due to a past bad experience, and just two visits later and they have completely eliminated my fear of the dentist! I have had nothing but positive experience's at Dental Designs of New England.Right from the minute you walk in, it feels like walking into a good friend's house. The friendly reception/office staff are always so incredibly kind and interactive during check in and checkout. The team of professional assistant's and hygienists are compassionate and patient. Was looking for a new dentist in the NH area since I was still going down to CT to see my dentist. I was referred to Dental Design and let me tell you best decision ever. They make you feel like family, remember your name and what you talk about. They always suggest what is important for your dental health. Can not go wrong with Dental Design. If you get nervous getting any work done don't worry distract yourself with cute animal videos with the TV above you as you lay down. If you're looking for a new dentist give Dental Design of New England a go you will not regret it I promise.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Every time you come for an appointment you feel as if you are visiting old friends. Highly professional and technology savvy, Dr. Shetty makes sure that her office employs latest advances in dental care whether it's equipment, procedures, or client's comfort. IMPRESSED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!! EVERY single time I go to Dental Designs of New England, I am greeted in a warm, positive and understanding manner. From the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist, they all make you feel at ease and welcome. I have dental anxiety, and the whole staff goes the extra mile to put me at ease....and it works! Today, they went above and beyond! Dr. Shetty personally sat with me and explained options and next steps in my dental care. She was patient, kind, and understanding of my needs. I was not pushed in any direction but the one that worked best for me. I ADORE THIS AMAZING STAFF!!! They are SO deserving of a 5 star rating!

I personally really disliked going to a dentist since I was a little kid but this place is the absolute best I've ever been to. They care about you and are very thorough on working out a plan for your dental needs. Everyone who works there know and do their jobs very well. I highly recommend them.

After having to switch dentist because our previous provider didn't take our insurance anymore we made the transfer and we're glad we did! Everyone was so friendly from the moment I walked in! My 6 month cleaning was a breeze and I was made very comfortable throughout the whole process. I would definitely highly recommend Dental Designs of New England!
