Dr. Brett Farnham has extensive training in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Farnham is able to help people get the smile they have always wanted. Feeling better about yourself with more confidence and a younger look is possible with an improved smile. Dr. Farnham also does Invisalign treatments and dental implants to help our patients stay right here in Mitchell for their dental needs.
Dr. Kirby Fuerst is happy to be serving patients in Mitchell, which is his hometown! He graduated from MHS, SDSU, and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends. Dr Kirby offers dentistry to patients of all ages and looks forward to developing relationships with them at their dental visits.
Leann has lived in Mitchell for over 20 years. She graduated from Northern State University. She helps out wherever at the office and enjoys getting to know all of the patients at Dental Designs. After hours, she enjoys golfing, running, hiking, biking, relaxing with a great book, spending time with her husband, and visiting her adult children in warmer states.
Amy, a Mitchell native, is a dental hygienist who graduated from University of South Dakota. Amy enjoys helping her patients become healthy and maintain a healthy mouth. She enjoys camping, gardening, being outdoors, reading, and vacationing with her husband and 3 children.
As a dental hygienist, she loves getting to know her patients and teaching them how to maintain a healthy mouth for a lifetime. Outside the office, Carrie enjoys the outdoors, attending her childrens activities, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and son.
Kayla, a Mitchell native, assists doctor with your dental treatments. She jumps in wherever needed and is always eager to learn new dental procedures. When she is not at the dental office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs, hanging out with friends, family, and nieces. She loves teeth and ensuring patients they are receiving the best dental care.
Kerri enjoys meeting new patients and getting to know current patients. Kerri will assist you with your insurance needs and answer billing questions. Kerri has 3 daughters, and she enjoys spending time with them and her grandchildren. Kerri enjoys softball, gardening, and floral arranging in her free time.
As a dental assistant, I love helping our patients feel confident about their smile. Im happy getting to learn new dental techniques each day at work. In my free time, I enjoy being with friends and family, singing, and watching movies.
Karrie is a dental hygienist who graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2013. She loves helping educate patients on their oral health and how to keep a healthy smile! Karrie has two children that keep her very busy. Her hobbies include sewing, DIY-ing, and traveling with her husband.
Karla has been in dentistry for over 30 years. She loves getting to know our patients and helping them have a great dental experience. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, shopping, walking, and relaxing in the Black Hills.
Morgan enjoys interacting with all of our patients and getting to know them. She finds it very rewarding to help a patient to love their smile. Outside of the office, Morgan enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as time relaxing at the lake.
Tammy has been dental assisting for nearly 20 years. She enjoys learning new dental skills and applying them to patient visits. She finds it gratifying to help patients understand how important dental health is to their overall health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

I chose Dental Designs due to a co-worker who was satisfied with them. I was impressed with how cordial the staff was with me. Dr. Farnham informed me with everything that's going on inside my mouth and walked me through it all. He made the experience feel less worrisome, even with the problems I brought forth. Nothing but respect for him and his staff. I will continue to choose this dental office for any appointments I have for my teeth.

Absolutely awful! I went in because a filling had fallen out and it was causing pain. I was asked as a new patient to fill out a questionnaire ranking various items (pain, financial cost, cosmetic look, etc.) in terms of importance to me. Because my financial resources are very limited, I listed cost as a primary concern (right below pain, I believe). After the dentist did his exam and I provided staff with my insurance information, I was given a quote to fix the missing filling and tackle a couple other preventive issues, none of which where pressing. The quote I was provided for all this work showed approximately $200 as patient responsibility. With this information, I went forward with the work they detailed and paid up-front my portion of the bill. A week later, I received a bill for over $400. Because they did not adequately research my insurance (even though I listed cost as a primary concern) they errored on their original quote. Oops! I would have never done the additional work had I been provided with accurate information from the beginning - simply because I could not afford to do so. I was told they would except payments. Then, about a month later when I stopped in to update my phone number and verify the time for my daughter's appointment the next day, I found they had cancelled her appointment already because I hadn't responded to a text confirmation. When I indicated I would be moving to another dental office, I was told they would not release or transfer my records until I finished paying on my balance. To do this would be in violation of HIPPA laws, which I explained to them. Reluctantly, they released my records to me. How can the staff not be knowledgeable of this law? Lawsuit waiting to happen! All that being said, the dentist himself was great. Unfortunately, the office is poorly managed as the other staff have no concern or respect for your personal wishes (financial concerns) or rights under federal laws.
