Dr. Cortes graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia where she received her DDS degree and remained in private practice for several years. Her interest and passion to expand her dental knowledge brought her to the United States. Dr. Cortes attended Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine where she received her DMD degree.
Dr. Cortes practices all phases of dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetic, smile enhancement, and implant restoration. She treats every patient with kindness and respect. She uses her dental expertise to provide quality care to her patients.

Martha is relatively new to the dentistry field but she has an extensive background with patient/customer relations. Martha understands the impact of patient experience for Dental Designs and she is committed to make sure that our patients leave the practice with a satisfied smile!Martha graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Masters's degree in Business administration.
We understand that there are many choices when it comes to Dental Care in South Florida. That said, we believe in going above and beyond to satisfy our patients. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding and Melanie is so helpful and friendly! I can only say awesome things about Dr. Cortes! She is one of the kindest, most compassionate and trustworthy dentists I have ever met. I came to her for help after having had a painful issue with a different dentist and she welcomed me and got me back on the road to recovery. I couldn't be happier with the results.

I have had nothing but great experiences going to this dentist office. Dr Cortes is honest, reliable and extremely well educated as a dentist. I did my Invisalign treatment with Dr Cortes and also got a new crown. Both jobs were outstanding. Her staff is extremely friendly and willing to help in any way possible. They always makes sure I know how much the cost will be before my appointment and is flexible on moving appointments if need be. I've seen a few dentists in the west boca area, Dr Cortes and her staff has by far been the best i've been to. Thank you!

Best dental office I have ever been to. Dr. Cortez and her dental team are exceptional and will make you feel right at home. They do a great job, and leave my teeth feeling super clean, and no pain at all. I recommend them to anybody looking for a great dentist.

Let me start by saying that the office is super clean!! Not many offices take care of the cleaning. The staff is just amazing. Very professional. From the front desk to the doctor. I had been going to a previous dentist for the past ten or so years. I moved to Boca Raton and found Dental design it was recommended by a friend of mine. And believe me when I tell you, I couldn't had found a better place. I have super sensitive teeth, DR. Cortes did my cleaning and I DID NOT felt any pain. She was so gentle and very professional. I highly recommend them for your future dental procedures.

Stay Away and Be carful Negative Feedback: - I booked the appointment for my father to be seen for his wisdom teeth and regular cleaning. They did type of Xrays wasn't suitable for his case. Dr. Astrid Cortes didn't take any pictures for the required teeth. Then her staff said sorry you have to go somewhere else. They used my insurance benefit for their purposes without explaining for me his options. The deceived me. - When I requested to see the Xrays to see his teeth they hesitated and told me I have to pay fee. It is the patient's right to see his picture and to be able to access them. When I asked Dr. Astrid Cortes she held the mirror and shouted on my father with no respect to his age and said see this is your teeth. If he came to look in the mirror, he could done it at home. I really and my father much more respect and rights for his treatment options.

This is my fourth visit and let me tell you, Dr. Cortes's team do not disappoint. When I get to the office my waiting time is less than 5 minutes. All the team are very kind and professional, always with a smile in their face making you feel like part of the family. The office is very clean and all the equipment are state of the art! If there is anything I need to get done, Dr. Cortes explains it with every detail possible for me to understand the situation. I am very pleased and grateful that I found this office.

My teeth were in a bad state when I first saw Dr. Cortes and her team. Dr. Cortes worked with me on a comprehensive treatment plan, and I am well on my way to regaining my confidence in my smile again. Dr. Cortes, her assistant Laura, and Elizabeth at the front desk are all true professionals. They put me at ease from the moment I met them and you can tell they all genuinely care about their patients. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Highly recommended!

The entire Dental Design team is amazing! They are very accommodating to my hectic schedule and make me feel very appreciated as a patient. Dr. Cortez and her staff are amazing! I drive from Aventura to get my dental procedures done because it's hard to find a place where you can completely trust in Miami. Awesome customer service from the first phone call until the moment I walk out from the office. The experience was a very pleasant and professional especially during these times of Covid. The team made me feel very comfortable as they took the proper Covid safety measurememts for the patients and their team. After 20 years with my just retired dentist, thought this would be my next 20 years. Made an appiontment for regular cleaning, told in front desk that they will include a X-ray and then was asked to pay credit card first without any paper work (just a CC receipt), then was told that I need deep cleaning, and the CC I paid did not including regular cleaning, just X-ray. They claimed it was a verbal miscommunication. I am actually OK for my deep cleaning next visit, but the way they run business, I am not sure I will go back and if I can trust them.
