Hi everyone I'm Dr. Taline! Im originally from Montreal, but spent the greater majority of my life growing up in Los Angeles. I eventually moved to Orange County and graduated from UC Irvine, with Honors, majoring in Biology and minoring in Womens Studies, all while functioning as a student coordinator for the Biomedical Ethics courses offered at the University.
Following graduation, I moved back to Los Angeles and attended the prestigious USC School of Dentistry. It wasnt long when I realized how strong my passion was for dentistry the connection with patients, my involvement in their lives, and, of course, all the dirty little secrets about their teeth! I soon discovered that an exceptional and comprehensive dentist is one who sees patients as a whole and not just a mouth full of problems. I continued my earlier focus in Ethics by becoming a student board member of the USC School of Dentistry Ethics Committee for four consecutive years, helping to guide and uphold the ethical standards of the institution and, ultimately, the dental profession.
After receiving my Doctorate in Dental Surgery, I relocated to New York where I completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx. This invaluable experience gave me exposure to medically compromised patients, and therefore refined my knowledge in managing those whose poor oral health had a direct relation to their overall health.
Since completing my formal education in 2008, I have been practicing my love for dentistry, constantly striving to further my education by attending courses under the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and The Spear Institute. Im an active member of the American Dental Association, and was recently elected the Ethics Chair of the San Fernando Valley Dental Society functioning under the California Dental Association.
Ive been blessed with an amazing son, Lucas, whos helped me transform into an even more nurturing and patient person, which directly translates into how I care for my patients. In my free time, I love playing volleyball, hiking, cycling, and game nights with my family.
So, heres a little about myself! My first name is Sako, pronounced like taco I come from Armenian/Lebanese descent but was born and raised right here in the San Fernando Valley. After high school, I took several courses at Santa Monica College, where I was elected president of the Honors Society and a recipient of theSMC Leadership Grant.From there, I transferred to UC San Diego, graduating with a major in Physiology and Neuroscience.
I attended the globally recognized New York University College of Dentistry, during which time I held several board positions on the executive student council and selected as the Universitys national representative for the American Student Dental Association. After receiving my Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2007, I moved to Las Vegas where I treated patients in private office while simultaneously teaching at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine. Since then, Ive volunteered my time with several non-profits, including Give Kids a Smile, and I was a Clinical Director for the Special Olympics Special Smiles program.

But my passion in life will always be in dentistry, and my sole purpose is to serve you by guiding you towards the best decisions regarding your oral health, all while having fun and keeping you as comfortable as possible! And after all that craziness, if youd still like to get to know me more, youll usually find me hanging around Studio City so feel free to say hello!
Dr. Sako and Dr. Taline are fantastic and patients cant stop talking about them. Youll never feel judged or made to feel bad about your teeth and many patients end up becoming good friends with the doctors. Dr. Sako received his training from NYU and Dr. Taline from USC, both with world-renowned dental programs, so take your pick!

We hate the feeling of stuffy dental offices, so we made sure ours didnt feel like one! The office is draped with beautiful art from local artists, changed out periodically to help share their talent with the community. We have headphones with Netflix and music in every room to help you zone out and forget youre even at the dentist!
Ultimately, we are a full service dental office, offering everything from cosmetic dentistry to general treatments. We even have certain dental specialists come to our office so you dont have to go elsewhere, such as an endodontist for root canal treatments, and an oral surgeon to remove wisdom teeth or place dental implants. This is the best dentist office experience I've had in my life. And I've been to a LOT of dentists, having moved around a lot: NY, Vermont, Atlanta, Boulder, San Francisco. Everything is wonderful, from the staff to the design of the space and the music and how they take care of you. Love DDSC!

My trip to the dentist is always a hoot!! I forget that I'm even getting a medical procedure done... all the staff is wonderful and super friendly. I would definitely recommend Dental Design Studio to anyone! Thanks for being awesome guys!

The most amazing experience I've ever had!!! I've been to several dentists in LA and always felt like they were untrustworthy, aloof, and outright crooks. That was until I was recommended here. I can not say enough good things about the staff and doctors. Everyone is so friendly, transparent, and supportive. The office is filled with bright artwork, and rooms are equipped with your option of Netflix and music so you can fully tune out if you're the nervous type. We mapped out a full plan for my dental work and not once did I feel pressured into a specific type of treatment. Communication is TOP NOTCH here. I don't think I've ever been so excited to return to the dentist.

New favorite dentist. Office clean and bright. All the latest dental technology (3D modeling! landscape mouth xrays! mouth photos!). Every person friendly and smiling. No pressure to use fluoride if you don't want to. Dr Sako provides information without pressure about what to do with your mouth. Someone even ran out to put coins in my meter so i didn't get a ticket! Yep. It's tucked away in the back of a strip mall on Ventura. It's a hidden gem.

I love the Dentist's office so much and I have always loved going to the Dentist. It hits all my favorite things.... self care, a spa like atmosphere and being attended to in a Burke Williams kind of way, my love of both science fiction (the chair and dental tools) and alien autopsies (again, the chair and dental tools). Dental Design has also made their retro decor awesome and not cheesy. They also found the perfect volume for bumping infectious grooves and it's not annoying music either. They have Netflix and video games too, but I always hope in those 30-40 minutes, they'll find a cavity or some something so Dr. Taline will come in and talk about teeth math (calculus?). And honestly, the Dentist's office is the only Doctor you can go to where you are literally BETTER than when you leave. Podiatrist, no. Dermatologist, no. Cosmetic surgeon, not a chance. I can't be the only one who has thought this. Shout out to Randy and Wendy for always finding a way to get me in when there's a cancellation. And Jenn and Sarah for taking your time. I actually went there today. My next appt is in Sept. Am depressed now.
