Our doctor is a board-certified prosthodontistdental specialist in the restoration of broken-down teeth and in the replacement of teeth that are missing.
Our doctor has the training and experience necessary to restore any mouth to optimum health, function and beauty. They thoroughly plan out each case and provide the treatment that is right for that patient.
Dr. Rodriguez explains every procedure in detail before treatment, and are very good at putting patients at ease. Our caring staff will help you with any questions you may have and offer you warm blankets and comfortable pillows while youre in the treatment chair. If you need extra help with anxiety, sedation is available.
We also have a state-of-the-art dental CAD/CAM design and milling systemthat enables us to provide well-fitting restorations. This includes crowns and bridges and also extends to other dental work, such as wax models and high-quality temporaries.
Dr. Raymond Rodriguez has been practicing dentistry since 1995, and opened our Dallas office in 2006. He has always practiced withthe philosophy of providing the highest-quality treatment to his patients and taking care of them as if he were taking care of himself.
While serving as an Air Force dentist, Dr. Rodriguez gained invaluable experience in treating complex dental situations. This experience, and his desire to solve challenging dental problems, led him to become a prosthodontist.
He loves being a prosthodontist because it gives him the ability to transformpeoples lives. I can give people back both their oral health and their smiles, and with that, return their dignity, confidence and self-esteem, he says. This motivates me to stay technically on top of my profession so I can give patients thebest possible results.
Dr. Rodriguezs dedication and skills have been widely recognized by his peers. Based on a vote of his colleagues, he has been selected regularly as one of the Best Dentists in Dallas and as a Texas Super Dentist. He has also received a board certification from the American Board of Prosthodontics, the highest recognition for technical proficiency in this specialty.
Our patients know Dr. Rodriguez for how meticulous and thorough he is in his work, and how interested he is in each of them. Dr. Rodriguez started his university education at Trenton State College in Ewing, New Jersey, where he earned his bachelor of science degree in 1991. He then completed four years of professional education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, graduating with a doctor of medicine in dentistry degree in 1995.
He spent his first 11 years in practice as a dentist in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps. While in the Air Force, he completed three additional years of study and residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and the Wilford Hall Medical Facilityat Lackland Air Force Base. He earned his master of science degree and certification as a prosthodontist in 2003.
Dr. Rodriguez is an experienced instructor for other dentists. From 2003 to 2006, he served as a clinical associate professor in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Since practicing in Dallas, he has given numerous lectures on prosthodontic techniques to colleagues at local professional organizations. This includes the Dallas County Dental Society, the Denton County Dental Society and numerous dental study clubs.
Dr. Rodriguez has been certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics and has earned the title of Diplomate. Diplomate status is only awarded after completing a rigorous four-part examination on all aspects of prosthodontics. In the exam, the doctor must demonstrate knowledge and skills beyond the educational requirements of the specialty. Only 30percent of prosthodontists have achieved this recognition.
Since 2009, Dr. Rodriguez has regularly been selected by a vote of his peers to be included on lists of top-rated dentists. He has been featured in D Magazine as part of their annual list of the Best Dentists in Dallas, and in Texas Monthlymagazine as a Texas Super Dentist. He has also been listed in the Consumers Research Council of Americas annual Guide to Americas Top Dentists.

Many in our family and extended family visit the same dentist. When our long-time former dentist retired, our family was so disappointed. We absolutely loved our former dentist. Dr. Rodriguez, whom we did not know, acquired his practice. Understandably, we were a bit leery. Any jitters we may have had have been banished. Dr. Rodriguez and his staff are amazing. All five of us are so delighted with the transition. We're with Dr. Rodriguez and Dental Design Specialists for keeps!

Daniella was been my dental hygienist with Dr. Jones practice for many years however he has retired. She and much of Dr. Jones employees have moved to Dr. Rodriguez practice. This was my first visit to his practice but Dr. Rodriguez is operating a very friendly, professional and honest practice.

Great to. Be back with Danielle , my hygienist. This was my first visit here since Dr Mike Jones ( my dentist for 45 years) retired. I was impressed with the facility and staff. All very nice and helpful. Danielle did her usual great job cleaning and examining my 70 year old teeth and gums. Cleaning was pain free. I met Dr. Rodriguez for the first time. VERY nice person, great " bedside manner ". I highly recommend he and his staff!

I was referred to Dental Design Specialists by my Dentist who told me I had a very complex situation with my teeth, that was beyond his skill levels. Other Dentists had expressed the same concerns. I had complete confidence from the initial exam on, that Dr. Rodriquez could help me. It was determined that full mouth implant dentures was the best choice. The process was lengthy, requiring many office visits. It was obvious that Dr. Rodriquez was a perfectionist from the time he spent with me to insure I was receiving the very best care. I can now enjoy eating, and have received many complements, thanks to Dr. Rodriquez and his wonderful caring staff.
