Dental Depot was founded in 1978 as a private practice and, although we have grown in the years since, we remain a family-owned and operated business dedicated to building relationships in our communities. We live where we work and our patients are more than just namesthey are neighbors, family, and friends.

In 2003, Dr. Charles Nunnally brought Dental Depot to Dallas by opening the first ever partner location, paving the way for more partner locations to come. In 2007, Dr. Himesh Kana would also open his first partner location in the DFW area with the development of the Highland Village location, to soon after be followed with two more locations in Aubrey and The Colony.

Our growing community support resources include non-profit, community, and educational support; a free dental education program for area schools; and holiday parades and other special events. Dental Depot partners with the communities we serve, giving back to the places where we live and work. We meet our neighbors where they are, funding student activities, donating food, and beautifying our cities so we can all be stronger together.

The original cottage-style dental practice was very different from the Dental Depots we know and love today. At the height of Oklahoma Citys Oil Boom, and with office space in short supply, Dr. Glenn decided to convert a residential duplex into his first office. The original office was located in the historic Linwood neighborhood at Northwest 23rd Street and Drexel Blvd., which latter came to be home to todays Central OKC location.

Train memorabilia and antiques lined the walls and exterior of the original building, similar to how they do today, complete with a working model train that ran along the wall through the patient operatories. Over the years, these unique features have become synonymous with the name Dental Depot, and its fun and comfortable atmosphere.

Then, in 2001, disaster struck. An electrical fire destroyed much of the internal structure of the office and led to a complete rebuild from the ground up. It was then that the classic 19th century train station architecture was utilized to create the iconic dental depot look. Mustart-yellow slatted exteriors, clay-red roofs, and the lofty clock-tower were all a part of this reconstruction. Whether it is a train running from room to room, or an amazing collection of train memorabilia, there is always something interesting to capture your attention.

Dental depots presence in the Linwood community has been mutually beneficial. Many beautification efforts in the form of new lamp posts, benches, and seasonal landscaping of road medians have been a direct result of the offices presence and community outreach. These efforts have resulted in accolades by the OKC Beautiful organization, a Keep America Beautiful affiliate.

Dr. Himesh Kana was born in a suburb just outside of London, England. At the age of eight he and his family moved to the United States, to a rural Western Oklahoma in a town called Erick where he was raised throughout his youth. Dr. Kana grew up in the hotel industry where he quickly learned the value of quality of customer service.

Dr. Kana is a Sooner at heart. He attended dental school at the University of Oklahoma. Being raised in a small town with small town values, he and his family sought out a community with small town charm. This is how he chose Highland Village and Flower Mound area to live and practice.

Dr. Kana is dedicated in providing the highest level of care. He and the staff are committed to education and expanding knowledge. He has completed over 1,000 hours of continuing education. Dr. Kana hopes that being accessible to all of his patients, strong community feel and values, and strong patient/customer service is what will help our practice and community grow.

Dr. Kana enjoys spending time with his wife and two amazing daughters. He likes to travel, watch sports (especially OU football) and play golf when his staff lets him out of the office. He believes the greatest gift we have is raising and teaching our children

Dr. Charles Cal Nunnally was born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico, and he graduated from Roswell High School in 1993. Meet Dr. Nunnally After high school, Dr. Nunnally studied biology and chemistry at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Upon completion of his under-graduate course of study at Texas Tech, he entered Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Nunnally moved to Oklahoma City and worked as an associate in a dental practice there for two years. He always knew he wanted to come back to Texas and open his own practice. In early 2003, he moved back to Dallas and opened the Dental Depot.

Dr. Nunnally enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and skiing and is an avid football fan. He is married and he and his wife had their first son, Trey, in September, 2008 and their daughter, Kaki, in April, 2011.
