Since its founding in 1978 by Dr. Glenn Ashmore as a private practice, Dental Depot has remained a family-owned and operated dental practice. Although we have grown over the years, we remain dedicated to preserving our ties to the communities we live and work in, and to treating your family as a part of our own.

Our goal is to provide every patient adults and children alike with the high-quality, affordable dental care they need and deserve. At every Dental Depot location you will experience a clean and relaxing office, friendly staff and highly trained, compassionate doctors, assistants and hygienists. With Dental Depot, you can always count on receiving a common sense approach to your dental needs, and the information required to make an informed decision about your own care.

But Dental Depots commitment to the communities we serve extends beyond our walls. We offer a wide range of community support including: a free dental educational program for area schools; non-profit, educational and community sponsorships (Keep Oklahoma Beautiful); holiday parades and other community events. We feel the biggest reward is the realization that weve made a significant change in someones life and we hope to continue to grow as an integral part of your life and community!

The original cottage-style dental practice was very different from the Dental Depots we know and love today. At the height of Oklahoma Citys Oil Boom, and with office space in short supply, Dr. Glenn decided to convert a residential duplex into his first office. The original office was located in the historic Linwood neighborhood at Northwest 23rd Street and Drexel Blvd., which latter came to be home to todays Central OKC location.

Train memorabilia and antiques lined the walls and exterior of the original building, similar to how they do today, complete with a working model train that ran along the wall through the patient operatories. Over the years, these unique features have become synonymous with the name Dental Depot, and its fun and comfortable atmosphere.

Then, in 2001, disaster struck. An electrical fire destroyed much of the internal structure of the office and led to a complete rebuild from the ground up. It was then that the classic 19th century train station architecture was utilized to create the iconic dental depot look. Mustard-yellow slatted exteriors, clay-red roofs, and the lofty clock-tower were all a part of this reconstruction. Whether it is a train running from room to room, or an amazing collection of train memorabilia, there is always something interesting to capture your attention.

Dental depots presence in the Linwood community has been mutually beneficial. Many beautification efforts in the form of new lamp posts, benches, and seasonal landscaping of road medians have been a direct result of the offices presence and community outreach. These efforts have resulted in accolades by the OKC Beautiful organization, a Keep America Beautiful affiliate.

A root canal, also referred to as endodontic treatment, is a procedure during which a dental specialist removes soft tissue from within a tooth that has become infected or inflamed. Dentistry From The Heart is an annual event, usually held in the Fall, where our teams volunteer their time, expertise and compassion to provide free, quality dentistry to those in need. During Dentistry From The Heart, patients do not need money or insurance to be seen by one of our dentists, and may receive one (1) of the following treatments:

We know it takes a village to raise a child, which is why we are dedicated to helping kids and parents who need it most. Each year, our teams rally to raise money, food, clothing, and even school supplies for children across Oklahoma. We host a variety of supply drives for local food banks, the YMCA and others. We even host a companywide fundraising event during the month of May in conjunction with Red Nose Day to benefit children living in poverty. Our Red Nose Day efforts make donating a fun and competitive team experience complete with sprit-week costume days, a contest to put our doctors in a dunk tank, and of course, silly red noses!

We dont stop there. We also are committed to giving students the support they need to be involved in their own schools and communities. Each year, we support student athletics, arts and academics at schools across Oklahoma. And through Fields & Futures, Dental Depot has been honored to provide Dental Depot Field, a safe place for student athletes to pursue their passion.

Smiley ORiley, Dental Depots happy clown conductor, is a favorite of children across Oklahoma! Each year for National Childrens Dental Health Month, Smiley ORiley provides children with free dental hygiene kits and a magically fun lesson on the importance of developing good oral health habits. Dental Depots Smiley ORiley program reaches 20,000 Oklahoma school children annually, on average.

We love being inspired by the incredible athletes who participate in Special Olympics! Our beloved clown conductor, Smiley ORiley, cheers on the athletes of Special Olympics programs, including Stars of the Future, at events throughout the year. And each year at Christmas time, Dental Depot creates a new holiday t-shirt design to raise money to help fund Special Olympics programs. As one of our teams favorite annual fundraisers, we invite everyone to show their support as we present the donation at our company Christmas party.

As a contributor to the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma Citys Togetherhood Committee, Dental Depot teams come together to participate in community health fairs and days of family fun, to collect much needed clothing and school supplies for low-income families with children, and to provide support and services for residents of the Pershing Centers transitional housing for people affected by homelessness.

Caring for families who are dealing with health issues is one of the most beloved projects among our team members. Each month, our office teams take turns to spend an evening serving dinner and comfort to families who are dealing with the unthinkable a child undergoing cancer treatment. We also come together as a company each year to pitch in with deep cleaning and organizing at the OK Kids Korral because we believe that these families deserve to have only one focus, their childs recovery.

I think it's only fair to share my experience at the worst place I've ever been for a dental appointment. Dr thought a very black spot on my tooth was just a stain when's the last time somebody had a dark spot on the tooth that was just a black stain and not a cavity thought Dr. Roz . The incompetence! I went to dental Depot three times for the same tooth that had a cavity Dr fixed half the cavity the first time and then tried fix the second part of the cavity the second time but there were still cavity left behind and I try to tell them but they would not listen and the third time they would not do any thing but yet I could still taste the cavity coming from the tooth and now I have periodontal disease because the Dentist sealed the infection inside the tooth thanks a lot for your malpractice and negligence .This place is negligent ,communications are terrible here I called to get an appointment to find out what's going on with my tooth and they think that I'm there for a teeth cleaning. Not to mention I had the dentist and assistant and a hygienist all at the same time try to persuade me to get what they thought that I should get other than what I want it to get done on my teeth so they like to apply peer pressure onto patients not a practice that is practical in honest customer service! I canceled all of my further appointments in the future and they still called me on my appointments that I canceled because this place does not know their mouth from their butts. I will have to say that the only good experience about going to dental Depot was a the beautiful and sweet dental assistance that took care of me.

Well, I'd give this operation a 1, not because of the work they do or because of the dentist himself. Dr. Duffy was excellent! I give it a 1 because the desk staff are AWFUL. They are rude and need to find a new job if they can't be compassionate. I called yesterday at 8 am and booked an appointment for 1 pm. I expressed that I was in great pain and needed to be seen urgently. I showed up at 12:45 checked in with CHASSITY. She made me fill out all of the paperwork I had previously done on the link that was texted to me so I wouldn't have to wait long when I arrived. I sat for 2 hours waiting, in pain. She called me at 2:15 asking if I was on my way or even coming, I said " maam, I have been sitting in your lobby for 2 hours. She then stared at me the whole time I was waiting and continued to make rude comments about me sitting there. Again, the dentist himself was excellent, CHASSITY needs a new job!

I needed an emergency extraction. They did just that. The dentist was fast and friendly. His assistant (I asked her name but I already forgot it) was freaking awesome. Very friendly and personable. Over all a great staff and a pleasant, quick and efficient visit. Thanks so much!!

Absolute worst place for orthodontic treatment. Was quoted 12-18 months but there have been 4 different doctors in the last few years & each one practices differently and nothing gets communicated. Incredibly rude staff almost every visit. Go somewhere else for braces.

If you're using Soonercare, they treat you like dirt. Extremely judgemental place. I've tried setting up appointments for an extraction for most of the year now. One time, I waited 3 months for my appointment, only to be told they were too busy and they rescheduled for another 3 months in the future. I'm sure they treat you well if you have cash.

My I made an appointment in late February for 6/28/22. It was for a cleaning and possibly getting fillings. After waiting 4 months and driving 45 minutes, and waiting over an hour for my scheduled appointment, I was surprised to find out that they were not going to do my cleaning. I literally waiting that long to just have an intake exam and x rays because they were too busy and rushed me out of the door. I knew that I would need fillings and Dr.H simply suggested to use sensodyne toothpaste. I spoke with the front desk staff and they did not offer any solutions. I called to speak with the manager and they said that they were in between managers and the second time they said that she was on lunch. They sure did file my insurance claim and did not complete the work I was originally scheduled for. I asked when the next cleaning appointment would be available and they said February 2023! That is just ridiculous.

Let me start by saying, I had a tooth extraction about 5 years ago. It didn't go well (tooth broke, and took over 20 mins to extract all pieces). So I was nervous about having to pull another. The doctor said he would prescribe me something for pain since my last one went so bad. But he never did. Which at first was nerve wracking. But the extraction went well and it wasn't needed. Thanks!

I never got to see a dentist after waiting for almost an hour. I had made an emergency appointment. People who came in after me were called ahead of me. Other people who were leaving said they would never be back there..
