I've been to all of 3 dentists in my lifetime, mostly because I've always been able to go to a good one and never understood some people's fear of the dentist. I get it now. The staff at the North Brunswick location are very nice but they give you way too many reminders-2 text messages and 3 phone calls with one of those phone calls being 15 minutes before your appointment. The dentist, while knowledgeable, is the bigger issue. She's very personable, but I don't like how she operates. I was deliberately given too little numbing agent while she put in 4 crowns "so I could tell if those teeth were hitting first". Even numb, you can tell when a cap is too tall and that's what the black contact paper is for! I didn't have to be put in the worst pain in my life where I couldn't distinguish anything besides pure pain for 10 minutes. 8 months later and I'm still pressure and temperature sensitive. The straw that broke the camel's back however was when she decided she was going to charge me $2,000 more for a tooth implant than it should have cost. Apparently, THEY CAN CHOOSE HOW MUCH YOU PAY, and must've thought I wouldn't do my research. I asked how much for an implant, she says $2,200. I ask total? It'll be $2,200? She says yes. Lo and behold, when it comes time to sign paperwork, I get sent a consent form that says $2, 800 for the implant, but an additional $1,700 for the abutment (Fyi- those should only cost somewhere between 200-500) and $3,000 for the crown (the 4 crowns she did before were a total of $2,800). So the actual total I was looking at was $7,500. More than 3x what I had been assured the TOTAL amount was. I call and tell the receptionist this is not what I was told, she drops the implant total down to $2,200, so that it isn't a complete lie that the procedure would cost what I was told, because then they can say "well the implant procure *is* $2,200, it's just not the only part of the procedure". I then ask why she is charging me over $1,000 more for the abutment and at least $1,000 more for the crown than all other online sources top ranges are stating. They tell me that if I bring in a treatment plan from somewhere else, they'll try to match it. No. I'm not price matching a dentist like they're Best Buy or Target. You don't get to put me in agonizing pain and then have over $5,000 sprung on me and keep my trust.

We had an appointment for 5 of us today The whole office staff is very sweet. They give you all the time you need and all the help and care you need. Very calm environment and very kind too. I really recommend this dental place for all families

I've been to all of 3 dentists in my lifetime, mostly because I've always been able to go to a good one and never understood some people's fear of the dentist. I've only had one bad experience (thankfully), so I can compare if ones I've used were actually good. The staff and the doctor at the North Brunswick location are the best I've encountered. The dentist fully explains what's happening in your mouth and some reasons why. I have bad teeth. I've always had bad teeth. Genetics and body chemistry rolled snake eyes for my tooth gamble. Now while there are some things I can't help, the doctor gave me a few ideas about things I could do to improve the chances of minimizing future teeth problems. I also like that they have a specialist who comes around for implants. I've had one of my teeth yanked because there just wasn't enough tooth left to save and I hadn't gotten around to seeing a specialist. The fact that they have one associated with them is a great relief. The office is clean, the equipment seems new and sterile, and as relaxing an atmosphere as one can hope for a dentist office. They're only in this office 2 days a week, but I've heard they're in the Edison office on the other days, so they're available. Best dentist in Middlesex County. You can't get better than these ladies.

Took my mom for treatment and found the staff and doctor to be amazing. It is an extremely relaxed and quite environment, highly recommended.

I love the personal care and education I receive. They do follow up to check on you and follow up with your cleaning every six months.

This is the best place to get any dental treatment. The place is clean, staff is friendly, they manage appointments very efficiently and the doctors here are the best. Dr. Shah is very understanding, patient and very knowledgeable, I would highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for professional, prompt and genuine care!

Dr. Shah is so wonderful. This is the first dentist office I have ever been to where I feel comfortable and not treated like a business transaction. The staff is so friendly and helpful

The worst experience of going to a dentist. Unprofessional staff and unethical practice. They just want to make money and do not think about the effect of such practice on patients. I felt so helpless and stressful for going at this practice. Don't recommend.
