Dr. Alex Motaref completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and finished his degree at the University of Pennsylvania at the School of Dental Medicine. He then attended a General Practice Residency at Denver General Hospital.
With over 20 years at his practice, Dr. Motaref enjoys the art and science of dentistry. He feels its an exciting time to be practicing in this era of significant innovations in dental materials and technology. He frequently attends continuing education classes to improve his knowledge and skills in the general practice of dentistry.
Dr. Mona Barber is a Kansas native and graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2007. She is experienced in the full scope of general dentistry and has a particular interest in preventative care and comprehensive dentistry. She moved to California in 2007 and loved living in San Diego, family is what brought her back to Kansas City. After many years of trying to convince her husband to move back to Kansas, she won the battle. Her husband is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. You can only imagine their dinner conversations. They love teeth!
She enjoys keeping up to date on better ways to care for the dental health of her patients. She enjoys treating entire families and encourages parents to get their children comfortable with routine dental exams at a young age. Her caring and gentle demeanor has won over many nervous patients both young and old.
Danielle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology. She has been with Dental Corner for 18 years, and her duties include handling phones and assisting the doctor with x-rays and a variety of other procedures.
Her patients say she is very laid back and puts them right at ease by joking or singing along with the radio. She says she is also a little bit of a proud dork. What she enjoys most about her work is that there is always something different with every patients case.
Lauren fell in love with Dental Corner ten years ago and has been here ever since. She is also pursuing a college education while working as a dental assistant. Her duties include chairside assistance, record keeping, patient services, taking x-rays and sterilization.
She loves creating a comfortable and enjoyable environmentfor her patients and assisting them on the road to better oral health. Her patients say she is knowledgeable, friendly and comforting and is able to keep a fun atmosphere with excellent service.

After 4 visits thus far, im TRULY IMPRESSED! The Staff is Sooooo Friendly and Professional. They make you feel very Comfortable. The Mother and both her daughters are the Real Deal, I ENJOY THESE LADIES. THEIR kindness is Absolutely Amazing! I just love Lauren, GREAT JOB LADY. She's the BEST!!! The Dentist himself is Amazing!! I'm no longer scared of dental work after 25 years!! I may be Lil nervous but not afraid. I give this Office 10 Stars!!! I LOVE Dental Corner, keep up the Exceptional Work YALL ROCK

The place reeked of cigarettes and I have asthma I took one inhale in that place and I had to leave because it smelled so strong I almost died walking in the door there's no way I could even stand treatment

Just an awful place with awful staff who clearly never went to school for Dentistry. I HAD to put at least one star or I COULDN'T leave a review. All they care about is the money. I noticed the front desk lady picking her nose and touching things up front in the waiting room, then going to the back, scratching between her legs and handing the doctor something. I made sure she didn't come into my room. On the same visit, they pulled the wrong tooth out of someone's mouth. DO NOT GO HERE !

Not gone lie they are garbage emergency tooth extraction = highway robbery here. Definitely will get over on an emergency situation. Literally this place is like a hospital that refuses to treat a patient who's leg got cut off or they will tax you 1000 for an xray and the extraction for one tooth no sirrrr will not recommend this place.

I've been going to Dr. M, for well over 15yrs and I couldn't be happier. I love the staff for they are not only helpful but knowledgeable. I always walk in smug and walk out smiling. It's nice to know once I call, I can already count on getting better.

Everybody here is so nice and wants to make sure you are comfortable. They do an excellent job. I have major anxiety about dental visits and new healthcare providers in general, but this was a great experience. I'm happy to have found a dentist office that I'm willing to go back to.

I would not recommend this place. They just want the money. Don't take time to work on you. Please find some where else to get care. Horrible experience. You tell them it hurts and they keep drilling.

I have been to several dentist offices and by far this is the best , Danielle is so funny ,caring and helpful . Love Jo beth my hygienist , very through , patience and my teeth feel clean she is the best . Sherri the front desk lady is nice and friendly , explain your benefits well . Dr Motoref a man of few words , he pulled 2 teeth and was very gentle I didn't feel a thing. Best place, everyone make sure you are comfortable. A bunch of Great people's .
