Dr. Alex Motaref completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and finished his degree at the University of Pennsylvania at the School of Dental Medicine. He then attended a General Practice Residency at Denver General Hospital.
With over 20 years at his practice, Dr. Motaref enjoys the art and science of dentistry. He feels its an exciting time to be practicing in this era of significant innovations in dental materials and technology. He frequently attends continuing education classes to improve his knowledge and skills in the general practice of dentistry.
Dr. Mona Barber is a Kansas native and graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2007. She is experienced in the full scope of general dentistry and has a particular interest in preventative care and comprehensive dentistry. She moved to California in 2007 and loved living in San Diego, family is what brought her back to Kansas City. After many years of trying to convince her husband to move back to Kansas, she won the battle. Her husband is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. You can only imagine their dinner conversations. They love teeth!
She enjoys keeping up to date on better ways to care for the dental health of her patients. She enjoys treating entire families and encourages parents to get their children comfortable with routine dental exams at a young age. Her caring and gentle demeanor has won over many nervous patients both young and old.
Danielle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology. She has been with Dental Corner for 18 years, and her duties include handling phones and assisting the doctor with x-rays and a variety of other procedures.
Her patients say she is very laid back and puts them right at ease by joking or singing along with the radio. She says she is also a little bit of a proud dork. What she enjoys most about her work is that there is always something different with every patients case.
Lauren fell in love with Dental Corner ten years ago and has been here ever since. She is also pursuing a college education while working as a dental assistant. Her duties include chairside assistance, record keeping, patient services, taking x-rays and sterilization.
She loves creating a comfortable and enjoyable environmentfor her patients and assisting them on the road to better oral health. Her patients say she is knowledgeable, friendly and comforting and is able to keep a fun atmosphere with excellent service.
