Dr. Hamidi is a dental specialist whose passion is to help people smile. Dr. Hamidi is proud to be a periodontist, a dental specialist with expertise in dental implants, the management of gum disease and periodontal plastic surgery.Dr. Hamidi obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2007. Afterwards, he completed a 3-year surgical residency in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the University of North Carolina. (UNC) During his surgical residency, he learned advanced techniques in both non-surgical and surgical Periodontology such as Periodontal Plastic Surgery (gum grafting), Laser Periodontics, complex bone grafting, dental implants, and other specialty surgeries related to the gums and bone around the teeth.While in residency, Dr. Hamidi also completed his masters in public health with emphasis on Health Policy and Management from UNC. Shortly after completing his residency program, Dr. Hamidi became Board-Certified, a distinction only a handful of surgeons achieve and maintain. While actively expanding his practice, Dr. Hamidi also teaches as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Dentistry, since he truly enjoys collaborating with the surgical residents-in-training on their challenging cases.My goal is to provide you with exceptional patient care in an environment equipped with the most clinically cutting-edge diagnostic and clinical care. I love Dental Concepts! I found them a few years ago when I had an emergency situation and I called everywhere and without hesitation they brought me in and took care of me right away. Dr. Patel is amazing and very personable. He pays attention to what you have to say and remembers everything you told him. He makes sure that his patients are very well taken care of. The whole staff shows you that they care for you and they are very welcoming from the moment you step foot in the door. I'd highly recommend them for anyone.

My experience with Dental Concepts has been amazing. I always felt that I maintain good hygiene, floss daily and brush twice a day So I should be fine. But I was wrong. There are certain things which we cannot control and need timely intervention by professionals. I am so grateful to the whole team of caring doctors, best hygienist and lovely assistants for explaining me the importance of regular dental visits and taking care of me. I am impressed how the office welcomes you and makes you feel comfortable right from the beginning till the end if the appointment. They provide you a top notch customer service and I was thrilled how the latest tools that Dr. Patel uses can calm your nerves and keep you comfortable. I am looking forward to getting all my dental work done here and stay healthy. I would recommend everyone to Dental Concepts & Orthodontics.

I moved to Texas in 2018 and we nervous about finding a new dentist, but I'm so happy I landed at Dental Concepts!!! Great office and great staff!!!! Can't wait to get started with Invisalign!

I had a dentist that I used to visit for almost 20 years and when the customer experience declined, I chose Dental Concepts as my next dental home. I was welcomed with open arms by the staff and Dr. Patel. From the moment you enter the office, you feel as if you're home, or with close friends that you've known for years. They recommended the proper treatment for my dental needs, and also worked with me for Invisalign services that have my teeth looking spectacular. I'm very impressed with them and their personal touch, and will continue to visit them for my needs. I highly recommend!

Dental Concepts of Irving is phenomenal! The dentist (Dr Patel) actually introduced me to his practice. I had moved 45 minutes away from the dentist that I had been seeing since moving to Dallas and was toying with the idea of switching dentist offices. Dr Patel's knowledge, resume, humility and overall kindness is what implored me to give Dental Concepts an opportunity to service me. I couldn't be more elated with my decision. It has wholeheartedly bee. one of the best decisions that I have made health wise. The dental hygienist and Dr Patel were able to quickly identify my areas of opportunity to improve my dental health and immediately engaged a plan in which I am already see results after 6 weeks. I've never had a hygienist or dentist that have displayed their level of competence and genuine concern for their patients. The entire staff is amazing. The service here is top tier in every capacity. It's a blessing to have found them! I'm a forever patient.

I didn't go to a dentist for 8 years so I was nervous when I came here, thankfully I felt really comfortable almost immediately. The staff is all very helpful and friendly. The work they do is great and you can tell they take pride in it. I'll be making Dental Concepts my go to dentistry in Dallas for a long time!

1ST TIME NEW PATIENT PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!!!!! Nirav R. Patel, DDS. -please be aware of his misleading and unethical practices, his unorganized office staff who have no accountability for how they schedule appointments and how they are providing customer service to patients let alone a new first time patient. Also if you are seeking dental treatment , smile make over or cleaning be prepared to be interrogated and asked multiple times where you work, how long you've been employed and what you do for living because the care more about getting assured they will get paid than actually providing quality services to their patients!!! Schedule appointment at 2pm and didn't get scene until 5pm for the completion of a full new patient exam. When expressed disappointment and frustrated to have taken off work for this appointment time and even sacrificed to come in an hour earlier because at the last minute the dental assistant asked if I could to give the dentist more time to treat a tooth bothering me as well as complete new patient full exam. NEVER GOT THE FULL EXAM AND DENTIST DID NOT THOROUGHLY TREATMENT PLAN MY DENTAL CONCERNS. IGNORE THE OWNERS RESPONSE ITS AUTO GENERATED BUT KNOW -The behavior of this staff including the dentist and attitude was ONLY Extremely condescending and combative!!! This practice has no ethical standards and is not held accountable for any miscommunication, false and misleading information instead they are always right and never apologized for error and incorrect scheduling on their part.
