I have been part of the team at Dental Comfort Center since 2011. I am originally from Arlington, where I graduated from high school in 2002. From there, I attended Augustana College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology and philosophy.

While in college, I was a member of the wrestling team, and merited All-American Honors in 2005, 2006, and 2007. I was fortunate enough to be selected to the ESPN Academic All-America team and received an NCAA postgraduate scholarship. In the summers, I worked with Augustana faculty members who were conducting research in biology. I try to keep close connections with everyone I was involved with in college.

Next, I attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. During my years at dental school, I volunteered at Gospel Union Mission to provide dental care to the underserved, and was an active member in Give Kids a Smile Day.

I have wanted to be a dentist ever since I broke my front tooth when I was ten years old. I can relate to anyone who thinks going to the dentist is terrifying! That experience has taught me to give patients the best dental care in the most relaxed environment possible.

I absolutely love what I do: I get to meet and work with so many great people in the community and surrounding areas. Developing a long-term relationship with my patients is important, not only for providing the best care, but it puts the patient first, and makes what I do so rewarding for both myself and the team that I work with.

I strive to treat patients in the most gentle, caring way possible. I am grateful to be surrounded by a staff that has the same mentality. We want patients to have a professional experience built on integrity and compassion. All of us at Dental Comfort Center strive to make this the best experience possible.

Dentistry is a constantly evolving field, with many changes in how things used to be done, and I am committed to staying up to date on the latest technology and the newest procedures. This ensures that our patients receive the best, longest lasting, and most aesthetically pleasing results we can provide. I am proud to provide same-day crowns, soft-tissue laser treatment, and advanced treatments for replacing missing teeth.

I am a member of the American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association, and a study club that gets together to discuss and learn new aspects of dentistry. I also take continuing education courses both in Sioux Falls and around the country.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hunting, golfing, and exercise. My wife Lexi was a pediatric intensive care nurse for many years, but is currently staying home with our three children. Stella Deborah is our oldest and we have twin boys, Cain Kenneth and Cael Cody. They keep us very entertained and very busy!

I have had the good fortune of practicing dentistry in Sioux Falls at the Dental Comfort Center since 2006. I am originally from the area, having grown up in Valley Springs and graduated from Brandon Valley High School in 1993. After high school, I attended Augustana College and studied biology and chemistry. I still stay connected with Augustana Athletics as a fan and Augustana Academics as a supportive alum. My dental education took place at Creighton University in Omaha.

I love being a dentist. I am incredibly grateful that I get the opportunity to help people on a daily basis. I care very deeply about the people who choose to entrust their care to us and find great joy in developing long-term relationships, not only as a caregiver but as a friend as well.

I find the practice of providing gentle, quality care to these patients to be an amazing, rewarding, and fulfilling experience. I feel very blessed that people entrust me to provide them with dental care, and it is a responsibility and privilege that I take very seriously.

I also recognize that not only am I surrounded by wonderful patients, but I also have the good fortune to be surrounded by an incredible compassionate team. I am very proud of the people with whom I work. Our team is composed of people of the highest moral character and professionalism.

I am committed to higher education and staying up on the latest technologies in the field of dentistry. This is a commitment to my patients foremost, but also to my staff and self that enables us to provide the very best in long-term quality care. This approach provides the patient with solutions that will be comfortable, aesthetically optimal, functionally ideal, and long lasting. I am Spear-trained in complex multidisciplinary cases, same-day crowns, and soft-tissue laser treatment.

In my home life, I am married to a wonderful woman named Jody. Jody and I have been married since 2001 and she is originally from Harrisburg. She is a registered nurse by trade who specialized in neonatal intensive care. Now she spends her days working full time and then some staying at home and raising our three very busy children who we love so dearly.

Soren is our oldest child, followed by our only girl Macy, and the youngest is Jonah. In my free time, I enjoy time with family the most, but also the boys youth wrestling, baseball, Macys gymnastics, and playing golf.

I believe the profession of dentistry is my lifes calling. Having the opportunity to work with the team of highly trained and qualified dental professionals here at Dental Comfort Center provides me with the means to strive towards excellence in field of dental medicine. I am passionate about the opportunity to use the hands, knowledge, and gifts God has blessed me with to creatively serve others and promote health.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from South Dakota State University in 2014. I graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Dentistry in May of 2018.

I understand the importance of continuing education in an ever-progressing profession and am actively involved in continuing education and applying the learned proven advancements in the field. I have made a commitment to my patients to always provide them with the highest quality dental care. I have a passion for offering patients state-of-the-art technology in their care.

I am an active member of the American Dental Associate and Christian Dental Society. During academic breaks in school, I traveled to the country of Jamaica through the Christian Dental Society to provide free surgical dental treatment for those in vital need at Helping Hand Dental Clinic in St. Elizabeths Perish. I have continued this tradition with the Christian Dental Society since graduating by leading student trips back to Jamaica to continue serving the Jamaican people.

I grew up in Aberdeen and moved to Sioux Falls in the fall of 1990. I have been working at the Dental Comfort Center since 1996. Helping people and building relationships with our patients is my favorite part of dentistry. I take pride in helping patients further understand their dental insurance benefits.

I grew up in a small town in northeastern South Dakota. I graduated high school in 2005 and went on to complete a bachelors degree at South Dakota State University in 2009. I started working for the Dental Comfort Center in the summer of 2014, after working retail for more than seven years. I have had the privilege of getting to work with compassionate and highly knowledgeable team. My favorite part of being the patient care coordinator is getting to know our devoted patients and building relationships with new ones. Chris and I welcomed our son Christopher in 2019 and have two puggles, Maci and Moe.

I grew up in Tea, South Dakota and attended the University of South Dakota. I began working at the Dental Comfort Center in May 2019. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, shopping, camping and boating. My favorite part of working for the Dental Comfort Center is building relationships with our patients

I grew up in the Central Valley of California and moved to Sioux Falls in the winter of 1994. I have been practicing dental hygiene for the past 21 years and am a member of the ADHA. My first four years of practice were spent working in a periodontal practice, where I gained valuable knowledge about diagnosing and treating periodontal disease. Then I moved to Sioux Falls and have been working at Dental Comfort Center for nearly two decades. I enjoy working with the team here that is dedicated to quality care.

I grew up in Watertown and have been working as a dental hygienist since graduating with my BS in dental hygiene from USD in 1996. I love getting to know my patients and their families. My goal is to make my patients feel comfortable in the dental chair while we provide thorough treatment. I am lucky to work with such a great group of people who have fun together and want whats best for our patients.

I am originally from Southern California and moved to South Dakota in the winter of 1993. I learned what a real winter was right away! I graduated from USD-dental hygiene in 1998 and again in 2000 with a BS. I really enjoy working with this dental team! Everyone in our office is quality-driven and patient-oriented. It is a pleasure to work in such a relaxing and professional environment. I enjoy getting to know patients of all ages and helping them to feel at ease during their visit, all while having some fun and humor along the way. Helping patients to improve the health of their smile is rewarding, and the best part is seeing them excited to come back.

My husband Barry and I have two children, Jessica and Scott, who keep us busy with their activities. A few of my favorite things are camping and boating, biking, movies, and hanging out with my family and friends.

I have worked in the field of dentistry since graduating from the dental hygiene program at Argosy University, in Egan, Minnesota, in May 2008. I joined the Dental Comfort Center team in December of that year and really enjoy working here because of the conservative approach to treatment, as well as our thorough explanation of treatment options we provide each patient. My favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is meeting new people and taking the fear out of dental care by providing the best treatment in the most comfortable way possible. We all do our very best to make each patient feel at home in our office.

I have been married to Matthew since 2005. We have two adopted kids and three foster kids. We also have three dogs. We all love to swim, ride bikes, play outside, watch movies, dance, sing, and wrestle around together. We are a goofy bunch!

I am a USD graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and has been with our office since 2018. Her main priority is preventing gum disease with the latest technology while making her patients feel relaxed and comfortable. Kristyn gives detailed oral hygiene instructions to keep you feeling confident and your smile looking bright. She especially enjoys working with children to create a positive dental experience that supports a healthy smile for a lifetime. She grew up in Aberdeen, SD and is the youngest of three girls. Kristyn and her husband, Tyler, moved to Harrisburg January 2019 with their two pups (Milo and Lola). In her free time, she enjoys exercising, traveling, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.

I grew up in North Western Nevada and moved to Sioux Falls in 2012. I attended O'Gorman high school where I played soccer and basketball. I graduated from USD in 2021 where I got my bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene. Soon after school I started working at Dental Comfort Center. I love getting to know my patients and helping them improve their oral health. My husband and I were married in 2021 and have a 2 year old black lab named Ryder. In my spare time I enjoy camping, playing sand volleyball and baking cookies!

I grew up on a farm near Humboldt and graduated from Lake Area Technical School from the dental assistant program. I started working at the Dental Comfort Center in 1975. I enjoy working with people and being able to help them with their dental needs.

I have been assisting Dr. Aadland since January 2007, after graduating with my B.S. in health science from USD. It is rewarding to get to know our patients: to help them gain trust and feel comfortable receiving dental care. It feels great knowing we can turn around someones fear of going to the dentist. I look forward to coming to work every day to work with a great team! We truly care about each and every patient and their individual needs. Our focus on teamwork helps deliver the best possible care for our patients.

I grew up on a small acreage in rural Wentworth. I attended Chester Area High School in 2010. I then attended Lake Area Technical Institute where I completed my dental assisting education. I was fortunate enough to get a job right out of school with Dental Comfort Center in 2011, and have been assisting Dr. Henriksen ever since. I have had the privilege of working with very knowledgeable, can caring individuals who are great at what they do. We all work really well together and genuinely care about what is going on in each others lives. My husband and I were married in 2017. We have two young sons born in 2021. We look forward to watching them grow and taking them on adventures traveling and teaching them to ski as they get older.

I grew up in Marshall, MN and attended Minnesota West Community and Technical Institute where I received my education in dental assistant. A few months after graduating in 2018, my husband and I moved to Sioux Falls. I have been with our awesome dental team ever since. I enjoy coming to work everyday and have the privilege to work with patients to achieve their dental needs. During my free time, I love spending time with my husband and two kids, Lyanna and Nicholas. We also enjoy visiting our family back in Marshall especially my nephews.

I graduated from Brandon Valley High School in 2018, after that I decided to continue my education in the Dental Assisting program at Lake area technical institution. Right out of school I did an internship at the Dental comfort Center were later I was hired. Working at the dental comfort center has taught me many things about my career. Shortly after I got the job here I moved to East side of Sioux Falls where I live with my dogs Daisy and Sara. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, my friends and family.

I grew up in Huron South Dakota where I graduated from James valley Christian in 2020. I then attended lake area technical college, where I completed my dental assistant education. I was very fortunate to start working at Dental Comfort Center shortly after graduating. I love working with such an amazing group of people who take much pride in what they do. It has been great to work on the other side of the dental experience, wherein I have found much joy in expanding my skills and learning more about dentistry everyday. My goal is to make sure every patient receives a relaxed and positive dental experience at our office! In my free time, I enjoy doing anything outdoors, baking, traveling, and spending time with my boyfriend, family and friends.
