I love being able to work and give back to my community. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I knew I wanted to do something related to healthcare. With support and encouragement from my family, I found dentistry allowed me to establish connections with patients, solve unique problems, and positively change peoples lives. Dentistry is a great fit for me, as it allows me to combine my love for science, art, and working with my hands in order to truly help people.
I studied Chemistry at Carson-Newman after earning an academic scholarship. After that, I went to Meharry Medical College, where I fell in love with the art of dentistry. After graduation, I was able to further develop my skills at residency at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland Ohio. I am committed to continuing education courses in order to remain current with state-of-the-art technology, procedures, and materials in dentistry. I am always looking for more opportunities to advance my clinical skills to better serve patients. I am an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
Overall, I have spent the last 8 years practicing and learning about dentistry, and Ive certainly enjoyed it. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing improvement in the oral health, appearance, and function of a patient and knowing that Ive helped in some way.
When Im not at the dental office, I love spending time outside. Whether it is hiking, golfing, running, skiing, or just going for a walk, I cant get enough of the outdoors. I also enjoy traveling and seeing the world. One of my favorite places to visit is Jackson Hole, Wyoming for beautiful scenery and fun adventure.
Amanda is an Anderson County native and graduated from East Tennessee State University with her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene in 2016. She loves providing thorough care for her patients while creating relationships along the way. When shes not at the office, Amanda enjoys cooking, reading, being on Norris Lake, taking weekend trips with her husband, Zach, and loving on their two pups, Josie and Marley. She hopes you will find our office a relaxing place to be.

Let me start by saying I'm not a fan of going to the dentist. At my previous Dentist I had to be put on laughing gas (Nitrous Oxide) to get through a cleaning or any dental work because it was so rough. That has not been the case with Dyron and his team. My teeth are just as clean and I've had to have some fairly major work done, but they do a great job making sure I'm properly numbed up and their precise with their work. On top of that they're nice, professional, courteous and have certainly made me feel welcome to the Knoxville area.

Always a blessing to visit this office. LUV Dr. Holt. His DHs, assistants and office staff are all amazing. Never wait for more than a few minutes. All professional staff are knowledgeable, informative, kind, gentle. The office staff are all very efficient, thorough, accommodating and most friendly! I never feel like I'm just another number there. Office is clean, calm, aesthetically pleasing. We are new to TN. So glad we found this office!

I'm very pleased with my cleaning treatment. I'm having a little issue with a tooth, Dr Holt came in and examed me and my x-ray. He's put a plan together once that's all done everything should be just fine.

I always enjoy my experience at Dental CO of Knoxville. The Hygienist is very friendly and professional. The office staff is also great and they make it pleasant to check in and out with them. The Dentist is friendly and professional as well.

I received excellent care from Dental Co Knoxville. This practice has an amazing staff and doctor. They are efficient, professional and thorough. The office is new and beautiful. Both Dr. Holt and the staff here make you feel comfortable and at ease. I have the worse anxiety about the dentist but they made the process easy. I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Holt and his team are the best! Not only is Dr. Holt honest and genuine, he truly cares about his patients. Appointments are on time, his staff are all incredibly welcoming and fun, but most all of they provide high quality care!

Such and great dental exam experience! Very impressed with all the staff and technology. Have been worried about finding a new dentist and dental hygienic. But I was immediately wowed with the staff and facilities. Thankful for the friendly and knowledgeable team!
