  • Intraoral Camera a tool the dentist uses to examine your mouth in a detailed way. The instrument, which may look like an oversized pen, has a camera that takes high-resolution footage or images of a patients mouth and shows the visuals real-time on a monitortheyre like high-tech versions of the hand mirrors.
  • Soft Tissue Lasers are used to treat many common dental conditions in a gentle, minimally invasive way. Hi, Im Dr. Brian Kwapisz, I grew up in Detroit and attended college at U of M- Ann Arbor. From there I attended dental school at University of Detroit Mercy, completing my degree in 1997. I worked as an associate at Family Dental Centers for 7 years. In 2005 I relocated to Charlevoix with my wife. We have 3 children. I enjoy outdoor activities like boating, fishing, camping, and hiking.

What I enjoy most about dentistry is interacting with different people and simplifying their treatment, especially those who are anxious or afraid. Many people have had a negative experience in the past. I enjoy providing them with positive and enjoyable visits while we get to know one another.

Dr. Gamble and Dr. Held are two of the dentist I have seen here. Very professional and care for their patients. Going to the dentist has always scared me. And these doctors and the staff are all friendly and professional. I will be a regular patient here. Thank you all so much.

I was grateful the Gaylord branch had an emergency opening within a few days of losing a huge filling. Nice facility, nice hygienist. But the older gentleman doctor SHAMED me. When I told him that I had good teeth until 30 when my my mom died he said "Oh, and that made your teeth rot out???" No. The chronic, DEBILITATING depression did. Absolutely rude and made me cry. I was already embarrassed that I had let my dental hygiene lack after mom dying in my arms. I had been pushing off going to the dentist because I was already embarrassed. Now, I go tomorrow for 2 molars to be extracted and I'm honestly terrified. I hope it's not him. I have so much anxiety about going there now. And I really hope they have nitrous because one is a hot tooth. I guess if you have great teeth they're probably way nicer.

I was very pleased with my first visit, very friendly staff, always making sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on. Although I was there for a long time (2 1/2 hours) I never felt anything they were doing and immediately built a trust with the dentist and dental hygienist. I am going to start seeing them regularly instead of Cheboygan.

I have always had severe anxiety going to the dentist. Dr. V and the rest of the staff have been amazing. Explaining all care and asking for my input. Truly the best dental office I have ever been to.

The doctor (The one in the second picture with the dark red tie and grey coat.) yelled at my mother for trying not to be in pain that he was purposely causing her by not letting the pain medication take effect and he kept going with the procedure of pulling her tooth out. He needs to have his doctorate taken away and not be allowed to do dental surgery or any kind of dental work. He is very unprofessional.

I went in today to get my first two fillings. I was terrified!! My dentists were amazing, and talked me through it the whole time, and made a way to let them know if I felt any discomfort. They were so great :)

Took over a month to get an appointment. Had a tooth extracted, Doctor took x-ray and said they got it all. Put gauss in my mouth and said change it in an hour. When I did, there was a huge chunk of tooth in it. How do you miss that?

Im really amazed not more people have given them a poor rating. Everyone I've talked to has had bad experiences and mine was nothing short of dissapointing. Really not impressed with anything. They rush people through like cattle and I didn't feel they really took the time to properly do their job. Hence me filing a rough burr off my filling when I got home.

Usually my visits here aren't so bad however, this last time was completely wrong. My teeth weren't fully and properly cleaned even missed a couple teeth and the inner side of them. Everything was out of order.
