Dr. Mike is a native of the state of Wisconsin. After graduating from the University of Minnesota school of dentistry in 1993, he has been providing treatments in the coulee region ever since. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Olsen has the experience and knowledge to make him one of the best in the business.
Dr. Olsen and his family have lived in Onalaska for over 25 years and have formed personal relationships with his patients over the years. With most of the staff residing around the surrounding communities, it is common to see us out and about in the community.
With his passion for knowledge about how he can better serve you, Dr. Olsen has joined groups over the years to obtain this up to date knowledge. His affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and the La Crosse Area Dental Society. This helps him keep up with the latest news and treatment options so he can offer the best dental care possible to our patients.

Having just moved to the area I was apprehensive about choosing a dentist. My choice of Dr Mike Olsen could not have been better. I started with a consultation and teeth cleaning- which was done by an incredible young woman thoroughly and efficiently. Dr Mike explains why you need each service; x-rays for example, he is very down to earth and doesn't play the because I'm the Doctor card. He holds your head in a way that's like running with a football- it's very comforting, makes you think of that instead of the drill. He is lightning fast- no small talk while he works- his assistant anticipates almost all of his moves. Afterwards Dr Mike asks if you have any questions and how you are doing- not just small talk but truly sincere. I had to be referred to an Oral surgeon and the receptionist made the appointment for me while I was there. I can guarantee that wouldn't happen in Milwaukee which is where we moved from. This is only the 2nd review I've ever taken the time to write and I'm 65 years old- I read reviews regularly but have not been compelled to write many. Dr Mike Olsen and his staff are #1

Front desk staff very welcoming and caring. Having a tooth pulled is never fun but the procedure from start to finish was pain free and over very quickly. Dr. Olson and dental staff very professional and make you feel at ease with any procedure they do. Yes, I would refer others to DCO. Dianne Panzer

I've been going to Dental Clinic of Onalaska as long as I can remember. I've always had a wonderful time and never ever had a bad experience with them. I'm always greeted with a smile when I walk in and I'm always smiling after a visit. Definitely would recommend DCO or DC in Trenpealeau to anyone new to the area.
