Dr. Asbelle has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years. Dr. Asbelle received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and then earned his D.M.D. degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. As a general dentist, he has earned a reputation of being committed to the needs of his patients. He enjoys working in Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as General dentistry.
An experienced and compassionate clinician, Dr Akhtar earned a bachelors degree in microbiology and molecular biology from the University of Central Florida and a doctorate of dental surgery from Indiana University. With advanced training in general dentistry from the University of Florida, she emphasizes an individualized approach to dental treatment and patient care.
Originally from Spartanburg, Dr. Bohlen is a native of South Carolina. He completed his undergraduate studies at Wofford College and attended dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed a three year residency in Periodontics at the Medical College of Virginia while simultaneously earning a Masters in Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Bohlen is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, South Carolina Dental Association, Greenville Dental Society. Dr. Bohlen and his wife Amy live in Simpsonville with their daughters Sylvia and Lizzie.
Amy is a native of Aiken, SC. She graduated from Medical College of Georgia where she received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2002. Amy has completed her certification in Nitrous Oxide monitoring in SC and holds Dental Hygiene licenses in both SC and GA. She has been a Dental Center West team member for 5 years. When she is not working, Amy enjoys spending time with her two children and husband.
I graduated from Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC with my Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I have been practicing as a board certified dental hygienist ever since. I love promoting healthy smiles, preventing and treating gum disease.
Rebecca joined the Dental Center West team in June 2015. She has been living in Aiken for eighteen years and has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for twelve. Rebecca is married to her husband Daniel. They have two children. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, trips to the beach and watching WEST VIRGINIA football.

Dr Asbelle is great! He's gentle and very informative. I appreciate the information. The dental hygienist is also great and very gentle. No one likes going to the dentist but I am comfortable at this office, thanks!

I had a chipped tooth that became abcessed, I did have an appointment set with another dentist, but with my cheek swollen like it was, they were thankfully able to fit me in. The reviews are correct, they are a really great team and got me in and out in less than an hour, with some antibiotics and had me set up with a referral for a root canal. Not excited about the root canal, but I am very pleased with how they took care of me and considered my needs to make my painful situation a little more comfortable. Thank you!

My appointment was for 3.30 pm. I got there at 3.20, and was out at 4.10 I had bitewing X-rays, polishing and cleaning. Dr. Akhtar herself did the cleaning. Very efficient practice, very friendly group

Such a wonderful experience every time now for years. We took our 5 year old for first time and they were amazing with him. We have 2 adults, a teenager, a 5 old and confident when our 2 year old goes it will be a pleasant experience as well. Thank you to an outstanding team!

I needed a night guard because I was grinding my teeth. Since I wanted to save my teeth from pulverizing, I scheduled a visit for my annual exam plus moulds of my teeth for the guard. Everything was handled in an efficient and professional manner. I love this dental office! Thank you!
