Dental Center of Tysons Corner is a McLean based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. We are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, crowns, veneers and more.
In the year 2000, Dr. Chaudhry attended a Dental Implant Seminar, sponsored by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, at Howard University and completed a one-year comprehensive training in oral implantology. He also completed courses with The United States Institute of Implant Dentistry and has since been a certified member of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American College of Oral Implantology since 2001.
Prior to this Dr. Chaudhry studied orthodontics and was recognized by The United States Dental Institute for completion of all Orthodontic Seminars and Lectures in 1994. Additionally, he is a certified provider of Invisalign and Clear Correct: a clear aligner therapy. Dr. Chaudhry is a recipient of the Invisalign Innovator Award, awarded by Align Technologies in 2003 and recognized as a Premier Provider by Invisalign in 2007, 2008 and 2009. He has been a member of the American Association for Functional Orthodontics and the Appliance Therapy Practitioners Association.
From his humble beginnings Dr. Chaudhry has expanded his services by opening several offices in the DMV area, with most open Monday through Saturday. He is a community activist supporting many local and national charities along with serving on the board of a non-profit free health clinic in Virginia. As a general dentist he and his team have thousands of patients of all ages. With a team of general dentists and specialists who utilize the latest technology to provide a high-quality dental experience, clients can expect convenience. The entire atmosphere with Dr. Chaudhry's offices is nooked in patient education, treatment transparency and affordability.
Since her own orthodontics treatment at age 12, Dr. Zahra Heidari had the dream of becoming an Orthodontist. Graduating from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Dr. Heidari received her Orthodontics Specialty Certificate and Masters in Oral Biology (M.S.). While at Maryland, Dr. Heidari participated on the Craniofacial and Cleft Palate teams at Johns Hopkins University Hospital and Kernan Medical Center.
During her residency at the University of Maryland, she conducted 2 original researches, one was focused on using a computer software (Abaqus) to predict the changes in orofacial complex due to orthodontics treatment.The novel approach to using the Finite Element software introduce by Dr. Heidari is undergoing publication. Her other research was focused on sleep apnea where she collaborated with well-known names who are focused in the field of Sleep apnea.
Dr. Heidaris interests are in craniofacial growth and development, as well as in the treatment of children and adults with craniofacial abnormalities and sleep apnea. She enjoys working with all age groups and loves her patients. Dr. Heidari is committed to excellence and esthetic advancements in the specialty of orthodontics, and is experienced in twin brackets, self-ligating brackets, Invisalign, temporary anchorage devices (TADs/ Mini-screws), laser gingival procedures and multi-disciplinary orthodontic treatment needs.

SCAM! I visited Dental Center of Tysons recently as a new patient. I came in for a standard dental cleaning. I was told that they cannot clean my teeth unless I have x-rays taken. The dentist told me that this is a "ADA Requirement." I declined x-rays because I previously had them taken earlier this year with my former dentist and my insurance only covers x-rays once a year. They would not clean my teeth unless I get x-rays taken at their office or forward copies of my x-rays from my former dentist FIRST. I have never had this requirement placed on me from any of my former dentists, as a new patient or existing. Cleaning my teeth does NOT require x-rays. I called the American Dental Association after my visit and learned that the ADA DOES NOT require x-rays for routine cleanings, they only recommend them. Dental Center of Tysons said it was an ADA requirement. Dental Center of Tysons was only trying to bill me for unnecessary x-rays so they can make more money. They tried to pressure me into it and lied when they said it was a "ADA Requirement." Avoid Dental Center of Tysons.

I would like to thank Dr. Maqsood Chaudhry and his Dental Center of Tysons Corner Doctors and staff for their excellent care and superb services. I truly appreciate how welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable his doctors and nurses are. My teeth were expertly and thoroughly cleaned by Shahzad and Dr. Chaudhry gave me a comprehensive examination even pausing a while to answer any questions I had. The office is modern, and beautiful and offers a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Tremendous care was given to see that people were seated a distance apart and every staff member wore a mask. You felt completely safe at this responsible dental practice. I sincerely recommend Dr. Maqsood Chaudhry and Dental Center of Tysons Corner where everyone greets you with a smile and a positive attitude of " How can I help you?" In this day and age, feeling that you're well taken care of counts for a lot when visiting your dentist!

I visited the Dental Center for my husband's appointment and I was impressed with their professionalism and cleanliness. I can't say much about the routine dental check my husband received. But for the wait, I enjoyed the massage chair in a quiet room. There also was a coffee station. Atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Parking is available right on the building and the ticket will be validated.

They did a really good job handling my son who has a disability, and they were very polite and courteous to allow him to use the wheel chair. When they sedated him they also made him very comfortable and relaxed during the dental operation.

Best Dental clinic in NOVA! Was a patient there for dental and orthodontal work and they were great everytime! Zeina was amazing! Always helped me out, answered my questions. She's the kindest. Always helpful. I had my braces done with Dr. Zahraa Heidari & Dr. Lina and they made my teeth look great. They listened to every one of my concerns. Billing was upfront and clear from the beginning, no issues whatsoever. Recommended to everyone I know!!
