You may not have realized that even during routine dental procedures, aerosols consisting of harmful microorganisms, saliva, blood, and debris can become airborne, meaning another patient might inadvertently inhale them later. The state-of-the-art JADE Air surgical air filters can quietly remove these contaminants from the environment; you may not even realize its there, but it will be constantly working to clean and purify the air in our practice, letting you and the rest of our patients breathe easy.

To minimize the amount of aerosol that is released into our practice, dental suction machines are used to remove potentially harmful contaminants. Weve specifically chosen medical grade machines with high-volume suction (meaning they are able to pull in aerosols that are further away). Also, the devices are fitted with a HEPA filter that is able to remove the vast majority of small particles.

Hospitals have been using special UV-C lights to fight viruses for years now. These devices emit a 254-nm germicidal wavelength that is highly lethal for all manner of bacteria and viruses. At our practice, we mainly use these lights for disinfection purposes between visits, which also helps get rid of airborne hazards before they have a chance to spread to other patients.

A healthy dental climate relies on high-quality heating, air conditioning, and ventilation. So it's essential to make sure the air inside our practice is always fresh for the next patient. That is why we have fitted our air conditioning system with an energy recovery ventilator (ERV). The ERV system brings fresh air from outside to keep potentially contaminated air consistently recycled back out of our office. This process helps remove viruses and other contaminants, meaning there's very little chance that these harmful substances will ever have an opportunity to enter our practice.

Air Scrubber technology takes advantage of the same UV light that we use for sterilization in order to purify the air that enters our practice. While the device has yet to be tested against COVID-19, it has been shown to be an effective way to dramatically reduce bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens in general. And unlike normal air filters, Air Scrubber is not passive; it actively treats the air for pollutants and other dangerous contaminants.

It never pays to take chances when it comes to the potential spread of aerosols in dentistry. Its imperative that contaminants are sucked away before they even have a chance to spread, and that is where Isolite comes in. This device isolates the area where were working while continuously sucking away contaminants and debris, making it much easier for us to complete the procedure as safely as possible. This system can be used to eliminate over 90 percent of dental aerosols.

Dentistry has been in Dr. Grabers bloodline for quite a long time! His great-grandfather was a dentist who practiced in Trieste, Italy. Ever since he can remember, this field has felt just like home for him, and he cant imagine being in any other career. In particular, he really enjoys the unique blend of artistry and science that comes into play with each procedure and restoration.

After studying at Emory University, Dr. Graber pursued his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Following graduation, he has regularly pursued a wide variety of continuing education courses through study clubs in order to keep his clinical skills sharp, studying CEREC, conscious sedation, implant-supported dentures, 3D guided dental implant surgery, and much more. His research-based background means that he always spends plenty of time evaluating studies and data before implementing new technologies in his dental office!

Dr. Graber is the dedicated father of two teenage boys and spends nearly all of his free time with them outside of work! Theyre all avid skiers and enjoy traveling to new ski-friendly destinations. They also enjoy scuba diving, playing golf, a variety of water sports, and tennis. Keeping up with the NBA is also a favorite pastime.

Jessica has been with Dr. Graber since the dental office first opened almost 20 years ago. She completed her degree in Accounting from Phoenix University. Today, she always goes the extra mile to help our patients have a great experience. Shes also a true insurance wiz who will work hard to get your claim paid promptly!

At home, Jessica is happily married with three children and a cute, three-legged dog. She spends most of her free time with her family. She also really enjoys shopping and regularly going back to Puerto Rico, where she was born.

Tracey has been working in oral healthcare for over 13 years so far, having spent time as a dental assistant in addition to her managerial expertise. At the Dental Center of Huntington, she loves working with such a great team to help every patient have a healthy smile!

Tracey and her husband have a grown son and multiple cats at home. When she isnt busy keeping everything running smoothly at the dental office, she enjoys reading, gardening, baking/cooking, and watching the Washington Redskins. She knows a LOT about football and the NFC, so feel free to chat with her about the topic during your next visit.

Kasia completed her dental education at the University of Bridgeport Fones School of Dental Hygiene. Today, her career spans almost 15 years, and she first joined the Dental Center of Huntingtons team in October of 2012. What she enjoys most about her role is being able to connect with patients while also educating them all about how to achieve optimal oral health!

Kasia is from Poland and moved to Connecticut when she was a young child. Today, she lives in the Beacon Falls area with her boyfriend and dog Shadow. In her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends, hiking, traveling, working out, snowboarding, and cheering on the Yankees and Giants.

Dorota has been working in dentistry for nearly 20 years, first joining our team in October of 2005. She loves being able to connect with her patients on a personal level while also making a difference in someones oral health after all, its a window into their overall wellbeing! As for her education, she completed her Associates at the University of Bridgeport Fones School of Dental Hygiene in 2001.

Originally from Poland, Dorota moved to Connecticut when she was 19 years old. Today, she loves spending time with her three sisters, three nieces, and two nephews when she isnt busy at work. Shes also an avid cycler and skier, even regularly traveling to unique ski destinations.

Alicja first joined the Dental Center of Huntington in 2014, and her overall career in the dental field spans well over a decade. She completed her Associates of Science at the University of Bridgeport Fones School of Dental Hygiene. Today, what she enjoys most about her job is being able to work closely with people and help her patients improve their oral health! Her compassionate, caring nature is a perfect fit for the dental office.

Alicja grew up in Poland moved to the United States in 2001. Today, she lives in Seymour with her spouse and their two beautiful daughters. When she isnt busy at work, her top priorities are spending quality time with loved ones, doing outdoor activities, dancing, and traveling.

Alessandra has been working in oral healthcare for nearly 15 years, having studied at the Fones School of Dental Hygiene. As one of our hygienists, she loves meeting new people and helping them improve their oral health. She feels proud to work with such a talented, fun team!

Jenniffer loves seeing each patients happy smile after getting the exceptional dental work they deserve! She attended Valley Medical College before earning her ICE and radiology certifications.
