Every holiday season West Coast Dental teams up with the Salvation Army of Southern California to provide underprivileged children with unwrapped toys. West Coast Dental has donated thousands of unwrapped toys in the course of 10 years. West Coast Dental also encourages patients to help donate by giving them a 10% discount on any new service. While COVID-19 has affected our ability to gather, its also deeply impacted schoolchildren and their families who rely on their schools meals, support, and education. To help support our community, Magicland Dental has teamed up with local school lunch programs to hand out meals, and also toothbrushes, to ensure nutritious meals and continuous oral health education despite the very real limitations of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This place is so ridiculous for wait time!!!! I've been here over 2hrs for a regular checkup. My kid has been in a seat over 30 min waiting .... when my daughter came out she had paste all over her face, they did not even floss her teeth during the cleaning. Unfortunately we won't be coming back. I will be informing my friends and family that I had once referred here to stop coming.

There needs to be more communication between the Periodontist, the Oral Surgeon, the general dentist AND the front office. No one is EVER on the same page and time ALWAYS gets wasted.

This dental clinic is very helpful and considerate since there is time pressure because my mom has to go to another country. Agnes made sure that my mom's dentures will be done before she leaves for a vacation. She was very helpful and very nice. The clinic is clean and parking is not a problem.

Pros: The staff were all really nice and helpful. Cons: I got to my appointment on time (on a Saturday) and I waited an hour without being called. I've never experienced this at a dental office before so it was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, I'll have to find another dentist.

Giving this a 1-star because my whole experience felt very predatory/exploitative. TLDR: The dentist told me I had tons of cavities, had extremely bad gums and teeth that needed extra intensive scaling, my crown replaced, and only cleaned HALF my mouth and told me to come back a second time next week for the other half (turns out it's because insurance only covers one cleaning every six months). I go to another dentists in disbelief as I have great dental hygiene and they gave me a clean bill of health. Red flag #1! They also pressured me to pay upfront for treatments I was scheduled for the week after, saying the amount would just be put on hold, but after I cancelled that appointment the transaction for that amount still went through. What?! I used to have a great family dentist before I moved so I know what it's like to have a good dentist who is honest, patient, and will actually only treat me for the procedures I absolutely need-- this place was the exact opposite. I don't doubt there are some people who had good experiences but trust me when I say I felt incredibly rushed the whole time-- they were quick to make me agree to a bunch of treatments that I didn't quite understand why I needed nor did they tell me what they would cost. Of course I asked, but I perceived that there was pressure/annoyance on the dentist's end for asking so many questions... HUGE red flag!! They encouraged me to pay upfront for treatments I was scheduled for the week after-- given how intimated I felt I obliged, but ultimately ended up cancelling those appointments. Despite them telling me they'd put that amount on hold, I got notified later that the transaction actually went through... for treatments I never got! When I called and asked them about it they were very dismissive and told me it was something Is had to take up with insurance. I understand if this is an insurance issue but the lack of care and patience really got to me. Horrible experience. please please consider a private family doctor before going to a chain like here.

EXTREMELY LONG WAIT TIME!!! I was seen two hours after my appointment and it seems like everyone is running around the office, not knowing what is going on. Really unprofessional. I had to keep asking about my appointment time so they could pay attention to me. Waiting for that long was a huge waste of my time and greatly impacted my workday.

Waited over two hours just to be told that they cannot to my procedure, and just referred me to another place for a ct scan. Horrible horrible service that I have EVER experienced in my entire life, not an exaggeration!!

Last night I had a lil incident and was all concerned with my front tooth so I came in to see the dentist and I am glad I did. I came in and Alondra who took my X-rays was great she made me feel like I had nothing to worry about then they sat me down and Dr.Ali came in and introduced himself and made a bit of conversation which made it seem like he genuinely cared about my problem so that was awesome, Then the Treatment Coordinator Angie came in and explained what was going to be done and how it would help she was great, so that made it easy for me to decide to do the treatment today. Finally the doctor's assistant Miriam got me ready for treatment and made me feel at ease the entire time. My experience with Dr.Ali here at the highland park office was an amazing one. Highly recommend this place and Dr.Ali.

To: West Coast Center in Highland Park Delivery from lab date was August 4th , Thank you to Dr. Kyaw he is a great Dentist, always does great work Thank you Angie for Your Great customer care, with kind and friendly informative service in the front office. Angelica is always taking care of the account balances and paper work with a good payment plan that was very helpful during our mother's appointments and Explained everything thoroughly. Agness dental assistant is knowledgeable in what she is doing and my mother felt very comfortable with her , great job! During this pandemic this office provided excellent service! This office is Very clean and following All protocols To ensure safety and care for all their patients.
