Dr. Richard Voigtel or Dr. Richard is a 1990 graduate of Baylor College of Denistry. He is also a 1984 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, Central Texas Dental Society, and the Academy of General Denistry. Dr. Richard met his wife, Dr. Cheryl Voigtel, in dental school and have been married since 1990. They acquired the Dental Center of Belton in 1992. Dr. Cheryl retired in 2008, but Dr. Richard has continued the tradition of relaxed, family-oriented patient care. Dr. Richard and Dr. Cheryl have two children, Mandy and Cooper. Dr. Richard enjoys farming and traveling in his free time.
Kelli graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1989 with her AAS in Dental Hygiene. She moved to Belton to work for the Dental Center in 1993 and has provided exceptional dental hygiene ever since. She loves getting to know her patients as well as their individual needs and is passionate about helping each patient achieve a healthy smile. She and her husband John have one daughter and when not working she enjoys camping, hiking, cycling, and spending time with family and friends.
Kami has been with the Dental Center since 1993. As the lead assistant, she is an invaluable part of the Dental Center. With decades of experience in the dental profession, she takes pride in exceptional patient care and getting to know each patient. She and her husband Eugene are the proud parents of two daughters and three beautiful granddaughters. Outside the office she enjoys time with family and friends, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, and gardening with her husband.
Rhonda is a life-long resident of Bell County and has been with the Dental Center team since 1992. She has extensive knowledge of most dental insurance plans and is an expert in helping patients to understand their coverage and making the financial side of their visit as seamless as possible. She and her husband Pat have two children and two precious grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and scrapbooking.
Cassidy has been with the Dental Center team since 2017. She assists Dr. Voigtel in all areas of patient care, is outgoing, and always tries to make our patients feel comfortable and well taken care of. She enjoys all things outdoors as well as doing projects around her house. She is also busy planning her wedding for next year.

Excellent customer service, excellent focus on the patient. We've all been at the point where we reluctantly made the trip to the dentist - only going because you have to. I had a number of bad experiences with Army dentistry, so when I got out and was given the option of choosing my own dentist, I shopped around a bit. I am glad I found Dr. Voigtel! Everyone on his staff is down-to-earth, personable, and knowledgeable. I look forward to my visits! Even on a tough case where I had a tricky crown to get fitted, they went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible and get the job done right. Two thumbs up!

Dr Voigtel and his hygienists have taken very good care of me, both for routine visits and when I had an emergency visit. I've had dentists who shame and scold, and dentists who try to upsell treatments. Dr Voigtel is so much better! I never dread a visit to his office.

My family and I recently relocated back to the area, and my son and I got on the list to be seen as new patients. Though having lived here previously I hadn't ever been to this practice. In fact, I generally try to take good care of my teeth, but historically have viewed going to the dentist a la the Little Shop of Horrors take. (I think there were some unpleasant childhood experiences as well). What was supposed to be a long wait to get in was expedited by someone's cancellation, and we showed up with little expectation. Immediately impressed by the outstanding building/facility with the inside decor, it was clear that a lot of love and care has been invested in this practice for some time. It felt like being in a warm home. Staff was professional, efficient and pleasant and really made the visit into a one-of-a-kind dental venture. My son was taken back (he's 18 y/o) and within 5 minutes I got a text stating, "this place is cool". Good sign. Later, their hygienist had an opening and worked me in as well. I had the chance to meet and visit with Dr. Voigtel as well, and came away telling myself for the first time, "I finally found a dentist!" If you're looking for a dentist and staff for you or your family, do yourself a favor and make an appointment. You won't be disappointed. Best overall dental experience in 50 years, and for my son,18 years. Bravo/Kudos to Dr. Voigtel and his staff!
