Dr. Allafi has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education over the course of his career in order to expand his skillset. During this time, hes focused on many specialties, including dental implants, oral surgery, dental prosthetics, and Invisalign!
Happily married to Dr. Saba, Dr. Allafi enjoys caring for his lovely family. When hes not working, you can find him gardening in his backyard and exploring the beautiful parks all over Maryland. Fun fact: he even designed one of the states very first natural swimming pools!
After attending the University of Maryland at College Park to obtain her undergraduate degree, Dr. Saba decided to stay at the school in order to pursue her doctorate. Since completing her formal education, shes gone on to finish additional courses and expand her skillset in FastBraces, Invisalign, and Botox/dermal fillers.
Dr. Saba enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Allafi, as well as their one child. They even have another child on the way! When shes not working, you can find her swimming, doing yoga, biking with her loved ones on the weekend, and going on hikes. Throughout her life, shes even traveled to over 50 countries!

I had an old crown replaced and Dr Ta did an excellent job! He's very gentle and it fits perfectly! Unfortunately, his assistant was pretty rough. Scratching my lip, poking the sharp suction tip into the soft tissue, more than once, or holding it so far back I felt like I was drowning. I called later and spoke with Maria, the office manager, who didn't let me finish explaining my concerns before she cut me off and thanked me. The front desk is staffed by whoever isnt in a room so there's no consistency in what payment is asked for. I paid $507 initially and expected to pay the remaining $507 today but was asked for $750....and ended up owing only $309.50? I'm not sure I'll return except for Dr Ta.

Dr. Tuan Ta is a good Doc. After checked out my situation, he believed I should be referred to another local specialist which turned out to be a excellent choice! Although I didn't do any surgery with him, his professional skill saved my time and my teeth in long term.

I was experiencing heat sensitivity in a tooth that he never bothered me before. The Dental Center receptionist found me an emergency appointment very quickly. I was able to see the same Dentist I regularly see in the practice and was quickly on my way. Great service from a great practice.

This place is great. Best dentist I've had in Maryland. The prices are reasonable and you can always get an appointment. Canceling isn't too big of a deal but don't follow in my footsteps. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. Keepers for sure!

THE BEST! I am a senior and pretty new to Medicare and supplemental insurance plans that have an attached dental discount plan and not a regular dental insurance plan. This has been navigating in foreign territory for me. I did my homework and checked various providers in my area that were listed on my plan and read many reviews. I decided upon The Dental Center of Aspen Hill and Dr Saba subsequent to reading wonderful reviews for the practice as well as for Dr Saba. I was definitely not disappointed! From the moment I called the practice until today my first appointment as new patient with the practice I could not be more pleased! It only took me 3 days to get an appt! I had been to my prior dentist for 40 years, but he does not accept any of the Medicare plans so admittedly I was somewhat unsettled. Today the day of my appointment was beyond my expectations! The front desk staff, the billing lady, the dental assistant, the hygienist and Dr Saba were all so welcoming with a smile on their faces, very pleasant, professional and informative! As a retired medical professional, I was extremely impressed today! Dr Saba and the team that I met today were fabulous and I would highly recommend this practice! Thank you for all that you do!

DENTAL CENTER OF ASPEN HILL is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! Excellent dental hygienist---MISTY!!!!!!! EXCELLENT miracle worker STEPHANIE at the front desk with the BEST Customer service - making sure you're WELL...Did I say ...WELL ...Taken Care of.. And then there was the dentist....Dr. Tuan Ta...EXCELLENT!!!! Gave me two fillings with precision and GREAT Bedside manner to make sure I was ok (because Dentists make me a little nervous). He calmed me and did an OUTSTANDING Job. I've been coming for years and plan to continue!!!

Absolutely horrible experience the past three times I went. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Wait times after you are seated in the chair are horrible and charge patients crazy money. Very predatory office. I told them I don't want Invisalign through them due to insurance reasons and three techs came up to me afterward trying to convince me to go through them like a timeshare meeting. I finally oblige and I end up doing the scan through them and they tell me they'll call me back in two weeks. They took forever doing my scan messing it up multiple times. I call them after a month of not calling me back after the supposed two weeks and they put me on hold and don't return my phone calls and send me straight to voicemail for the whole day. Finally get a hold of them two days later and come in for for my Invisalign pricing and they tried to charge 7400$ for only 5.5 months of treatment. People pay less than that for two years of treatment. My teeth are already pretty straight from having braces before.

At the front desk, I can say she was great and answered most of my questions, but what makes the difference in the back, Dr. A. Hong was excellent; meet the 1st time, I didn't know how will be the results. But I always have an open mind, And Dr A. Hong makes the difference to came back.

To be honest going to the dentist is not exactly my favorite thing to do. It always gives me an anxiety and lots of stress. This location is different! Friendly staff and Dr. Hong especially made me feel at ease and comfortable. I will definitely recommend this dental office to all my friends and family members!

Most wonderful experience! I consider myself extremely lucky to find this place. Everyone I met at the Dental Center was extremely professional and helpful and polite. In my 50 years with dental offices that I visited this is by far the best. I had an extraction which was done quite painlessly. Dr. Allafi who did the extraction is such a wonderful person who puts your worries to rest with his assuring words. Last and not the list, the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

She is very honest and compassionate. Dental problems can affect many areas of a person's life, and dentists need to be sensitive to the problems caused by poor dental health. So I had a great experience at the dental Center, was taken care of Very efficiently by dental assistant Kendra and her colleagues, wherever on a very short notice to cement back a crown that had fallen off and give me a complete exam and cleaning. Great service!

Dr. Saba is awesome! I wanted a second opinion for braces and Dr Saba immediately noted that my daughter needed Vivo instead to correct sleep apnea which was confirmed with sleep monitoring. We were not even aware they were suffering from that. I would highly recommend this practice to everyone. Maria at the front desk was a great representative for the entire office. Her laughter was infectious.
