I've been a patient for a few years now and I must say I've never had a bad experience. I'm always greeted nicely by the office staff and even better once I'm taken to the back. Everyone is so efficient and everything runs so smoothly. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Ruiz and he's awesome. Very through exam and his customer service is amazing, looking forward to my visit in May:)

Okay, seriously y'all, I rarely write reviews, but I absolutely had to take a few minutes to share what awesome experiences I've had at Dental Care Princeton. First off, I will admit for the record I am what one might call a horrible patient after several really bad dental experiences other places. I would rather do pretty much anything besides go to the dentist. Though, finding Dr. Dinani through a family member's recommendation has changed this deep-seated feeling I've harbored my entire life. Dr. D is very patient and gentle in his care ... and, he wears fun socks! As well, Dr. Dinani ensures to thoroughly explain the care needed. He is super compassionate, professional, consistent in his care. The overall approach and demeanor has served to create a level of trust I have not found to this extent with any dental team. Speaking of Dr. D's team ... each of them as well are wonderfully caring and compassionate. I have not had one questionable interaction. Each team member has made a point to connect well in a personable way and each one of them are uniquely awesome and fun in their own way. Shannon is great! Maura is the bomb! Gabby is so sweet and kind. Romeo is skillful in his care. Karina is compassionate, Henry is awesome in his skill and fun to laugh with. Each member compliments the next nicely to create a truly pleasant experience each visit. Thanks Dental Care Princeton team for changing my thought of your profession.

The best dentists I have ever been to. Office is clean and organized and they are very helpful when it comes for finding appointments. The office is open on Saturdays and they have evening hours.

I've had good experiences with getting my teeth cleaned at Dental Care Princeton. The facilities feel clean and well prepped. However, I do not know if it is their skill level or carelessness, but I've had multiple instances where the fillers I got done here needed to be taken out and redone. In total I've had to come in on 3 separate occasions to fix the fillers they had put in for me. Though they don't charge me for the repairs, they should not be making so many mistakes in my teeth in the first place. In the past I've never had problems with fillers, they last me years upon years without any issue. But here, I have to come back within a year due to various causes such as discomfort, or the filler breaking. My lack of faith in their practices have led me to switch to other dentists offices. This place is probably fine for teeth cleaning, but I wouldn't trust them with my teeth for anything beyond that.

Definitely exceeded my expectations! I'm new to Princeton area (been here less than a year). Melissa (my hygienist) did an amazing job and was very personable. Dr. Ruiz was also fantastic and examined my cleaning with great expertise and manner. Highly highly recommend Dental Care Princeton!!!

EDIT July 2022 Sadly, she is no longer at this location, and the new hygienists don't seem up to par. I'll keep trying different ones to see if I can find a good one!///// Love going here to get a cleaning as V*t* is professional, cheerful and seems to have mastered the art of customer service with a smile. She is genuinely happy to help you and has such an uplifting spirit!

Stay away! This place is what is known as a "cavity mill" -- it is part of a chain, and the one in Princeton is managed by Dr. Muhammadali Dinani, a "business dentist", that is a dentist with a keen eye on how to make money. Basically, the business model is to attract patients with cheap, discounted cleaning/exam rates, make a couple of X-rays, and then tell them that there are MANY things wrong with their mouth that need URGENT operation, or else. Dr. Dinani uses the imbalance of "expertise" to bully you into accepting treatment that is not necessary. After a wonderful cleaning by the dental hygienist, in a really nice and modern room, that had me relaxed -- all of a sudden he entered the room and was on this power trip, asking me why I was afraid of dentists (I am not, had never volunteered such information, but he's betting that most people are!), and that I had not gone in for a regular check-up enough, and that I now needed major work.(Even though I brush and floss religiously and have had only one cavity in my life.) He even tried to pretend it was obvious on the X-ray -- "that black triangle there is a cavity, obviously" but without pointing to any specific region. He was almost shocked when I declined his help, and said I would ask for a second opinion. When I asked him to reexplain what was wrong with my mouth he said: "I have already explained, and I don't think there is any need for repetition." Really? You want to do thousands of dollars of work on my mouth, but you can't spend two minutes reexplaining what exactly? Of course, I have consulted two dentists since, and shared my X-rays with a family member who is a dentist -- I did not tell them about Dr. Dinani's diagnostic, and they spotted nothing of the sort. Maybe dentistry is an art, but this guy was telling me it was URGENT to get 8 teeth worked on, and no other dentist even came close. That tells me that is not art, but profit. Also, all of the reviews here are paid for. They give you a big discount on your treatment if you leave a review, and they read your review in front of you in a very creepy way -- there is no way anybody will feel comfortable even giving less than five stars. Anybody that gives them less than five stars, they claim "are not in their records." Go read that review about the poor woman who got an unnecessary root canal from Dr. Dinani -- and how they claim she was never a patient to begin with! As another reviewer put it: "The receptionist, dentist, hygienist are friendly, the equipment are new, but this is clearly a for-profit organization whose only goal is to make more money." I would say the receptionist, dental hygienist are very nice, and the cleaning I got was very good, but oh boy, what a morally bankrupt place. Stay away! (This chain has five offices: Dental Care Somerset, Dental Care Princeton, Dental Care Hillsborough, Dental Care Basking Ridge, Dental Care Bridgewater. Can't say whether all the dentists follow the practices of Dr. Dinani at the Princeton office, but I don't see why they wouldn't, given they are cookie cutters from each other.)

The receptionist, dentist, hygienist are friendly, the equipment are new, but this is clearly a for-profit organization whose only goal is to make more money. I have been to 5 different dentists in NJ, this is the first place that would charge for a regular teeth cleaning with insurance, they'll code you with services that would need you to pay deductible. On top of that, when the dentist suggesting you to put a crown on or to extract and implant on a perfect working teeth, the front desk is already ready to schedule you for a teeth extraction -- for a perfect working tooth. give me a break. What's more interesting is they charge $30 extra for put fluoride on your teeth after cleaning. I'm glad I just try out there myself instead of scheduling my wife and kids there as well.
