We strive to provide Comprehensive vs. disease care. Our approach is provide thorough exams checking the overall health of your mouth, which includes your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine exams, dental cleanings, sealants, dental fluoride, and good home care habits are all helpful in preventing dental disease. At Dental Care on Golf Links we will review your medical history to help our dental professionals stay informed of your overall health, medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health.
To protect our patients and our dental family we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). All of the instruments that are used to provide your care are either brand new, or they are cleaned, disinfected, AND sterilized in a professional steam autoclave which is what is used in hospitals/operating rooms. Our equipment and sterilizers are monitored and inspected continuously to ensure your safety.
Dr. Eric Hardy decided to become a dentist as a young boy. At an early age he knew that he wanted a job where he could help people and after spending some time with his dentist uncle, he knew it was the career for him. Dentistry gave him the opportunity to combine several passions Helping people, working skillfully with his hands, science, and technology.
I enjoy dentistry because of the feeling I get inside when I help someone. Whether it is treating someone with a toothache, restoring a smile with cosmetic dentistry, or something as simple as a filling, I really like to help the person on the other end of those teeth. Dr Hardy grew up in a military family. His family was able to live and travel all over the world. His parents retired to Tucson in the early 1990s and he has considered himself a Tucsonan ever since. After graduating from dental school in 2003, Dr. Hardy joined the United States Air Force and practiced dentistry as a military officer for five years. During this time he provided dentistry to our armed forces members in Ohio, Korea, and Florida. After completing his military service, he moved back to Tucson to join our team of dentists at Dental Care on Golf Links. Outside of his practice, Dr. Hardy enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys many outdoor activies, and spends much of his free time hiking around Arizonas beautiful hiking trails. His hobbies include hiking, backpacking, running, skiing, bird hunting, and photography.

Growing up, Jared Kahl never thought about a career in dentistry. In high school he was on track for a career in business, until he had orthodontic treatment by his family dentist. He rarely smiled due to his crooked front teeth. After orthodontics, he now smiles all the time. Dentistry not only improved his smile but it also improved his self-image. It was then that Dr. Kahl thought if he could help just one person the way he was helped, a career in dentistry would be more fulfilling than business. Not only does he enjoy providing care for his patients at the office, he enjoys volunteering as well. He participates in Give Kids a Smile Day, Hope Fest and in 2006 he traveled to El Salvador as a member of a United States Air Force humanitarian medical/dental mission. For ten days he provided dental care and oral health education to citizens of El Salvador without access to dental care. Dr. Kahl says Volunteering my time to educate and improve the overall oral health of individuals who otherwise may not receive dental care is one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession. Dr Kahl came to Arizona in 2004 by way of Davis-Monthan AFB. He originally grew up in Montana. During dental school, he joined the USAF. Upon graduation, he completed a one year general dentistry residency at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. After three and a half years of service, Dr. Kahl separated from the USAF and decided to make Tucson home. He became a partner in Dental Care on Golf Links in January, 2010.
Outside of dentistry Jared enjoys many activities. He travels back to Montana to see his family, goes on hikes with his one year old boxer Stella, and he recently began learning how to play the piano. His main passion however is golf. On the weekends, your best chance of finding him is on a golf course.

I've been taking kids here since 2005 when I was a group home mom! Now I'm a mom and it's the only place I'd bring my son. Dr. Kahl and Dr. Hardy are amazing.

I have been a patient here for almost 15 years. My dental hygienist retired early this year at the beginning of covid. I had an appointment last week for a loose tooth. Because of my health I had to cancel. I call today and am told I can't be seen until December. Not acceptable. I will now find a new dentist.

I had to switch, after many years at this dentist office because of insurance. Now I am finding out that they left a cracked tooth (that now must be pulled) and a cavity on the tooth next to the cracked tooth. I complained about pain and the inability to chew on that side. I complained at the next two cleanings with them. First reason for the pain they mentioned was that I had a cavity filled on the top and it was bothering my bite. The second time they said I had a cracked tooth. I was in the chair for a crown on the cracked tooth and the dentist looked at the area and said she could not see where there was a problem. Shortly thereafter, I had to switch office because of insurance. I expect better then this for the prices that are charged. Is it incompetence or not doing their job? They are also in the habit of trying to bill me first, collect and then bill the insurance company. I had to ask them twice to bill the insurance company. Both times the insurance company paid. I believe that they gauge those who actually go to the dentist. I have gone to the dentist every 6 months for my whole life and now I have problems because they didn't do their job. The last thing the lady on the phone said to me when I asked for my records was..."Good luck with that." Luck has nothing to do with incompetence or having to change offices.

Excellent dentists, assistants, and friendly efficient staff. Been going to this office for 11 years and am always treated kindly and professionally. Never long waits and always get the highest quality care. Dr. Hardy is absolutely the best. I don't believe I could have found a more skilled cosmetic dentist in town whom also helped me through a successful implant process. I can always trust Dr. Hardy's expertise and am now happy with my teeth.

Tammy is a wonderful hygenist. The front office personnel are helpful and quick to provide information. Dr. McHugh is very through and has a nice touch with the drill and needle. Great place for dental work

Worst billing/customer service ever! She came out to lobby to discuss my account in front of other clients. Very rude and unprofessional in person and on phone. Will never reccomend this place to anyone.
