My appointment was scheduled a month in advance due to me having to use a ride service. My appointment time was originally scheduled for 9am. I received a confirmation email that stated this time, date and confirmation number. Two days ago, I received another confirmation stating the same date but the time was changed to 8am. I called them and said this information was incorrect. I have the confirmation number to prove my original time was 9 am. I was told that it didn't matter that I had the confirmation number because the schedule was booked and couldn't be changed to give me my 9am slot back. Obviously the schedule CAN be changed because someone went behind my back and changed my appointment time without my permission. Very rude and unprofessional to treat a new patient this way. I can't deal with places who jerk customers around with their appointment dates/time and from the looks of these negative reviews, it's just as well. I've dodged a gigantic bullet.

Great office environment! The front office staff is friendly and extremely helpful in understanding insurance coverage. Courtney is one of the best dental hygienists I have been to and Dr. Miller has a calm and soothing manner. He takes the time to thoroughly explain your dental treatment plan so you are fully aware of what is needed.

GTFO... Like look at the reviews... They have to offer something to get five stars for a reason. I scheduled an appointment three weeks in advance because everywhere else was booked for months. The person that made the appointment verified that they accepted my insurance, Delta Dental. On the date of the appointment the receptionist told me that they do not take Delta Dental, with a great big smile and a fake "Sorry"... like at least TRY to sell it. So not only was my appointment a waste of my time but is also causing me to schedule another appointment in November with a different dentist... Three months from start to finish all because someone doesn't know what they're doing with insurance. Don't people have to pass an exam for medial billing and insurance? Is that an indication about everyone else's licensure? I called them afterwards and I've gotta say that they seriously couldn't care less. Literally told them my tooth is split with an exposed nerve but who cares? It's not like it's their time or their mouth, right?

Before I made my initial appointment with Dental Care of West Melbourne, I spoke with their appointment scheduling representative and asked if they accepted my insurance (MetLife) she just said "yes" without giving the full explanation. After my first appointment I was told by the office staff that they only accept the PPO version of my plan. I was annoyed that I wasn't given the full explanation when I first called, but whatever. I had the PPO plan so it didn't really matter then. What I wasn't told at any point was that their dentists are not both covered under the same network. Dr. Miller is in network with my insurance while Dr. Hoang is not. This difference caused me to have to pay near full cost for my regular oral exam, cleaning, and x-rays because Dr. Hoang was my dentist that day. A few months prior, the same exam I received was completely covered by my insurance because it was billed for Dr. Miller. I had never heard of dentists working for the same practice having different insurance policies and the fact that I was never told so feels very deceptive to me. Quality of service: Dr. Miller did a great job on my root canal. I didn't have any pain or discomfort during or after the procedure. However, I switched dentists after my most recent exam and I believe their practice was trying to upsell me. After my most recent exam with dcwm I was told that I needed 13 fillings and a specialist to perform a root canal. My new dentist examined and tested the tooth and found that I didn't need a root canal at all for it, just a filling. I also only needed 7 fillings because the 6 others were very small and not of concern. Based on my experiences I would not recommend Dental Care of West Melbourne

The staff were amazing The office was very clean and modern. CLAUDIA was my hygienist. She was very knowledgeable, patient, informative professional and gentle. I had the most work done out of any time in my life and paradoxically, the least discomfort. No discomfort during the procedure and Practically no discomfort after the medication wore off. I'll recommend this place and specifically her, to anyone I care about. Thank you.

I was disappointed at this dental office mainly because of extreme rudeness and unprofessionalism of one of the dental assistants. I had no greeting, no conversation on the way back. She didn't say a word then I explained the issue with my temporary crown. Then she started to work on my crown, and it was painful, I had to stop her two times - no apology or sorry from her. She just said skeptically "oh really? Is this that painful?". Then finally I was offered to numb the tooth and I said:" Yes, please." She walked out saying "the doctor will come to numb your tooth". Then she came back, asked me to open my mouth and start digging my tooth again before the anesthesia. I stopped her one more time. Again, no apology or sorry from her but she said that she tried to use a cotton tipped applicator to see if it works better. Finally, I got anesthesia and she continued to work on my crown. She dropped my new crown into my mouth several times, I almost swallowed it and no apology or sorry. However, she was constantly talking through the headset with her colleges and laughing at times. At the end, the crown didn't fit well in the mouth, and I tried to explain the exact issue to her, but she couldn't understand me. She just left me without explanation what would be the next step. She brought the doctor in 5-10 min, and he took care of the crown. Visit was over and she started talking to me very slowly and loudly while scheduling me for the next visit. I believe she assumed that I don't understand English very well because of my accent. No good bye, no have a good day. It was disturbing in so many ways. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name during the visit and I tried to get her name over the phone in order maybe to file the formal complaint. Guess what, front desk person said that she doesn't know who was taking care of me that day. She said that she will try to find out and let me know. Of course, they never call me back. I have never had such a bad care in the dental office. So bizarre.

I would definitely recommend Dental Care Of West Melbourne to anyone looking for dental care. I was very impressed with Dr Miller, all of the staff and their professionalism. The office was very clean and well equipped with technology. I can't say enough of how well I was treated from the time I called to make an appointment to having my teeth cleaned by Courtney, then inform clearly about financial matters. Thanks to all of you ... You're Awesome
