Kain completed his undergraduate studies majoring in Biology at the University of the Pacific in three years, and went on to graduate from University of Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He has been practicing general dentistry for 14 yrs in the Bay Area. Kain is an active member of the American Dental Associate, California Dental Associate, Contra Costa Dental Society, and United States Dental Institute. He has received special training in Invisalign, 6 Months Smiles, as well as Ankylos Implant System. Kain relates to all his patients exceptionally well and has an innate ability to comfort patients chairside. In his free time, Kain enjoys family trips and activities with his wife and kid.
Max was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He attended Rice University and majored in Piano Performance and Biology while minoring in Spanish Linguistics. He graduated with high honors and went on to finish dental school at the University of Texas at Houston.
Max has been practicing dentistry for 17 years and has owned a high end cosmetic dental spa focusing on smile makeovers in Uptown Houston prior to moving out to San Francisco. Extremely talented and skilled in cosmetic dentistry, Max has had offices in Houston that have been featured prominently in the news, magazines, and various other media. Max is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has taught hands-on workshops involving aesthetics and smile design. In his free time, Max enjoys spending time with his dog and competing and teaching classical piano.
Karam Abdou graduated from the Dental School at University of Cairo in 1979, and moved to the United States in the early 80s. He ran a successful practice in Fremont for 15 years before transitioning to Dental Care of Walnut Creek. Prior to that, Karam practiced and managed various dental offices throughout the Bay Area. Karam is revered among dental colleagues in the Bay Area, having served as mentors to many dentists throughout the years. His soft and kind approach towards patient care has afforded him a strong following in this area. Karam is an active member of the American Dental Associate, California Dental Associate, and Contra Costa Dental Society. He has also served on the Dental Board of California as a expert examiners on many occasions. With more than 23 years of clinical experience under his belt, Karam is well versed in all aspect of dentistry from Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, dentures, and implants. When not working, Karam is busy with his family as well as avid follower of soccer.
Howard Liu decided to pursue a career in dentistry while he was an undergraduate student at University of Utah. AtColumbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City, Dr. Liu received his degree in Doctor of DentalSurgery. He went on and followed up with a general practice residency at University of Teas Health Science Centerat Houston. Dr. Liu also became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry while finding an intense interest inthe topics of Endodontology. Furthering his study, he attended a full time two-year residency specializing in
Endodontics at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at theUniversity of Southern California. He is an active member ofthe American Associate of Endodontics, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Contra CostaDental Society.
Richard Marasco Jr., was born and raised in the Bay Area. Follow his graduation with high honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara; Dr. Marasco earned his degree from the UCSF school of Dentistry. He is a strong advocate of preventative dentistry and utilizes the concepts of CAMBRA to both educate and develop customized treatment plans for his patients. Additionally, Dr. Marascos expertise includes advanced esthetic dental techniques using various ceramics, working with pediatric and geriatric patients, surgical and non-surgical extractions, root canal treatment on single and multi-rooted teeth, removable prosthetics and laser dentistry. He has worked hand in hand with specialists on more complex cases and is proficient in CEREC, one-day crown technology. He brings a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to his patients at Walnut Creek Dental Care. Dr. Marasco is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Contra Costa Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Marasco enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and is a die-hard Giants fan. Go Giants!

If you are looking for a dentist, do not go to Dental Care of Walnut Creek. Do not chose Dr. Yi or Dr. Greenfield as your dentists. Do not go to them for your invisalign treatment or fillings. Go to a trained orthodontist. Dr. Greenfield was eager to take the thousands of dollars to correct a minor cosmetic problem with invisalign. After a year and a half of treatment, they gave me a new functional problem--malocclusion which made it difficult to bite and terrible jaw and headaches. I now have to have braces for 2 years and they refuse to refund the thousands of dollars I spent for a botched treatment. They are not professionals. Invisalign with general dentists is a scam. Additionally, Dr. Greenfield filled a cavity that was not done properly which another dentist said caused gum inflammation and had to get the cavity filling revised. Go elsewhere.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Dr. Greenfield is incompetent and this practice doesn't care about their patients. Incorrectly placed crown that had to be reworked by another dentist and I was refused a refund by Dental Care of Walnut Creek. They should stand by their work but they don't.

Go to ANY OTHER dentist office!!! Dr. Greenfield and his practice are not trustworthy. I had a filling performed by Dr. Greenfield and had continuous pain since the filling was performed. Dr. Greenfield kept telling me everything was fine with the filling, however when I went to another dentist office they showed a great deal of inflammation in my gums as a result of the filling which had to be redone. I called the office to get a refund for the filling work done and the office accountant was dismissive and disrespectful, basically telling me to get a lawyer. No one should be treated like this.

My recent semi-annual appointment for x-rays, clean and examination was met by a relatively new hire dental hygienist (although with many years of experience). Ruth, I believe that was her name, was very thorough and delicate. And she had a welcoming personality. Dr. Yi was his typical self with his well honed bedside manners when assessing my decay and crown problem.

Today I had my first visit and really love friendly and caring treatment. The doctor answered all my questions and didn't push extra services! (This is what I really appreciate ). So, I made appointment for cleaning with Dental Care of Walnut Creek.
