This place is trash dentist was putting implants n was not looking while doing it. Til the other nurse reminded him can't eat for another year. Advice go somewhere else even if a little bit expensive

Run the other directions. This is a Dentist in The Box. So much went wrong here. Like others, we went there only to see Dr. Kim who was great but then in the middle of my 2 implants he leaves (work went on from about March to December for healing & all). There was absolutely no warning or conversation at any point and time about him no longer being there. At first I just assumed he wasn't there for subsequent visits due to the simplicity of certain procedures but then when it came time to install my 2 implants it was some (like others have described) rude guy w/no social grace or professionalism. I sat in that chair, almost upside down, while he went back and forth between me and 2 other patients for almost 2 hours. I heard him talking and working on them while I waited and waited and waited, at an incline. Then him and his guy assistant (also very unimpressive & rude) came in the room talking about how good looking & beautiful one of their patience daughter was (what, are you kidding me right now?!). The assistant and him cut up, non stop, while the assistants knee had my hair pinned between the chair and his knee. I went to move my hair and instead of asking me if anything was wrong (w/my mouth wide open and their hands in it) he just said "me'am hold on we're not done" and continued to work. So I laid there while his knee pulled my hair & they joked around and laughed. I was pretty upset by time I left. Then, I discovered my husband up front talking about SEVERAL discrepancies on the invoice (billed for things we didn't have done). The Manager was literally yelling at my husband about the bill and that he wasn't going to argue about it. I had witnessed this same behavior about billing between this man and other customers on 2 different occasions so I should have known they have a reputation for overcharging (and professionalism...which is very likely why Dr. Kim left). The Manager eventually admitted to a $450 overcharge so my husband was right, but he had to endure yelling and arguing w/this man to get the mistake corrected. Very bad place to end up and I regret ever going there. Horrible experience.

Love the front staff and the super kind and generous new doctor Dr.Song. Cleaning goes very smooth, the hygienist Sarah is very sweet and gentle! 100% recommend this office. They also have an amazing pediatric dentist that is so amazing with children especially very young 0-3 years of age! I didn't forget about the orthodontist! Him and his 2 assistant are super laid back but amazing at what they do.

I think the entire crew has been "upgraded." 2 beautiful young lady work together to keep the front under control, checking in and out as well as scheduling and doing all the paperwork in the background with the phones continuously ringing. They NEVER fail to multitask and keep the head of this train rolling. The young Korean doctor is super sweet and he talked through the procedure keeping my doctor visit anxiety low. I love this office and i will tell all my friends and family about them!

WE LOVE Dr.Mavalli He is the best I've been bringing my daughter to him since she was a baby and she is almost 7. He is so kind & knowledgeable and my daughter loves him and she is so shy! He is a father himself to small children so that's also comforting to hear him talk about being a dad. HIGHLY recommend him when we moved from Watauga I was SO HAPPY to find out he worked in the Southlake location as well so we could continue to see him. Thanks so much Dr. Mavalli !

I've been going to Next Century for 14 years and had mostly good experiences. When Dr Kim left however, there was no notice. (Second time they did this to me) Just a new dentist who tried to send me to a surgeon to get a biopsy for a simple root canal, by a surgeon who doesn't accept med insurance. When I complained about the lack of notice, they told me they're not legally required to inform their patients when a dentist leaves. I can't think of a worse response to give a long time loyal patient. I asked for a callback and my records. Nothing. Called again and after getting an apology, still no callback. Then I get a bill out of the blue that was never explained or brought up before. This time of course, they were quick to call and ask for the balance and set up an appointment that I told them I did not want. They were really good at one time, but I've had too many negative experiences. The one star is for the hygienist. She's fantastic. The rest of the office seems to be in total disarray

Work is okay, but now for 5 years, I have always been on time for appointments, but they take me in between 20 and 40 minutes late. I get they want to make money to get many people in, but wasting my time on every appointment is just getting to be no longer tolerable. I will be looking for a place that respects my time.

Sarah the hygenist was very good. didn't hurt or pain me in any way. she was fast and very efficient. my teeth have never felt cleaner. Dr. Song the dentist is very careing, advising me on several things to improve my dental health. i could tell he was also vey knowledgable. highly recommend NextCenturyDental for any and all your dental needs

My Dad had an 8am appointment, nobody shows up to open the door until 8:15...hygienist is still not here at 8:40am...plenty of Dentists in the Southlake area, don't waste your time here.

We love Next Century Dental! I have 3 kids, ages 11, 8 and 2 and we have been seeing Dr Mavalli for years now! He is so patient with our kiddos and always takes time to explain everything thoroughly. My kids absolutely love him and we will continue to come to Next Century in Southake in the years to come. Amazing office and friendly staff!

Had a bad experience with the billing, they gave me an estimate showing very low patient pay, based on that I decided to do all their suggested treatments for my daughter. However after insurance processed, my share was more then double the amount they had estimated. I understand estimates are indicative, but they made key errors in the estimate, like they estimated the crowns at 80/20, where as all majors are at 50/50, they added composites which was downgraded by my insurance to amalgam, when I called them they said yes such downgrades are common, if so I would have expected them to inform me upfront so I would have made an informed decision. On the crowns they said its insurance company fault, I dont understand how though, as per the plan it is 50/50, just a week before their estimate I had my dental estimate from another practice and they had it calculated correctly. In the end they told estimates are estimates for a reason, well I understand but that doesnt mean you can give a low or incorrect estimate which would attract people to get the service. Overall disappointed with the billing experience. Anyhow, Dr. Mavalli was great and did an excellent job on my daughters dental treatment. Unfortunately because of my lack of trust on their billing team I will have to find a new doctor for my daughter.

Just called and let me say Roda was the best. I hate I used this place. Everything starts on the front end from the phones... she repeats over and over again she just doing her job. Get a new office manager because I am a service guru and I like the Dr.s and Dental hygiene specialist but that lady needs to know how to talk to customers.

After being a patient of Dr. Kim going to have to try and find him I found out today that he is no longer there. Of course nothing is explained to you . I went in for a cleaning of my teeth and ended up with getting shuffled for numerous x-rays which I understand after two years you're supposed to have but that was not explained to me. After the cleaning they were not able to polish my teeth at the end because of the equipment not working. No fault of the lady who was doing it she was very nice. I was not happy with the experience . I'm not able to pronounce the new dentist name I felt him very cold and very rushed. Even though I was in a rush because I thought that my appointment would only take an hour I ended up being there nearly 2 . I've had no issues with my teeth since Dr. Kim. in two years and then all of a sudden Which I totally don't believe !!! I'm needing a bridge and a root canal. I will be transferring everything over to a new dentist not the best experience . I wouldn't recommend this place at all .

Dr Kim and his staff are amazing I have a lot of dental work to be done and they made me feel like I was in really good hands plus their receptionist Billie is awesome she makes your appointment a breeze would highly recommend to all my friends

Dr. Kim and staff are amazing. I live 2 hours away and they have just become our new dentist! I had to have a tooth pulled. Never felt a thing. Next will be an implant and a crown. Billy is over the top too. From the minute my husband and I walked in she made us feel at home. Thank you again for taking such good care of me. Denise Gipson, Fairfield

By far the best dental office I have ever been to. EVERYONE made me feel safe and comfortable about the dental options I had to choose. I'm not the best patient to deal with because of my horrible pain tolerance, I'm sure Dr Kim can testify to that :),but his staff made me feel so at ease about everything! Walking out of the office, after my first appointment, I felt hope for the first time, in a long time, that I was in good hands. Dr Kim never made me feel less than or inadequate because of my finincial stand point. He made me feel comfortable and confident in our treatment plan. I could live 3 hours away and I would still make the drive to see Dr Kim and his amazing team!

Finally a Dental office that knows what they are doing! For the past month I was given the run around by HEB dental in Euless their staff making me fake appointments. A friend told me about Next Century Dental and I made my appointment over the phone very kind lady who made my appointment. From the moment I walk in it felt cozy and it did not smell like a dentist office which is a plus for me right away I was helped by a nice gentleman who gave me my paperwork to start once I turned them in it was not even 10 min before I got called in. The young lady who took my x-rays was very kind. One thing that always made me nervous about going to the Dentist was doctor's who just have those looks like they do not know what the hell to do.... but definitely not Dr. Kim right off the bat strong voice and very comfortable and confident in him self straight forward to you too. I felt I was in good hands. From the lady who put in order a list of the most important things I needed done for my teeth with prices was just freaking awesome. Five tooth extractions being in my budget was unbelievable. Finding this place was a early x-mas present for me it truly was. What once was a fear of the dentist this place and their staff is making that go away. With just the way they looked at me and the way everyone talked to me made me feel welcomed. Thank you all for a absolutely great experience and for FANTASTIC SERVICE IN PERSON AND ON THE PHONE!!! Would I recommend this place? In a heart beat!!!

Always a wonderful experience! Dr.Mavalli on the pediatric side is awesome! I would drive 100 miles to get to him! Amazing service highly recommend this office!
