Benjamin J. Martin, DMD, MS, graduated in 2011 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and then in 2014 pursued his Certificate for Oral Biology and Specialty in Orthodontics from the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry.
A straight, beautiful smile is universally sought after. While it is an aesthetically pleasing feature, it enhances a persons overall health in many ways. When a persons teeth are not in alignment, the function of the teeth and jaw are not optimal; therefore, food may not be digested properly, excellent oral hygiene is difficult, wear and tear on the teeth is advanced, and the pressure from the misalignment may cause headaches and facial pain.
As a young grade school student, I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. It wasnt until I attended a dental mission trip to Honduras that I knew that I wanted to be a dentist. While in dental school, my passion and interest in orthodontics grew. I learned and was inspired by some of the best orthodontists at Baylor. I feel very blessed to be able to use my skills, education, and the latest orthodontic advancements to perfect smiles.
Professional Memberships: Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Dallas County Dental Society
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Martin likes downhill skiing, cycling, mountain biking, and participating in triathlons. In addition, Dr. Martin enjoys staying active in the community and volunteering every opportunity he gets.
During the first phase, the orthodontist has no control over 16 unerupted permanent teeth. If after they grow in, problems still exist, further treatment will be required. A separate fee will be quoted at that time. Treatment usually takes 12 to 24 months at age 12 to 13.

I have been going to this location for over 10 years. The staff took care with my needs and is very professional and knowledgeable. They keep a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Do not go here. Just rude and unprofessional and to be honest I'll never go to an establishment like it. The lady cleaning my teeth was rough and made me feel horrible. I have been going through so much this experience really is hurtful and disrespectful. be kind to people .

Phone service and staff is superb, however both website and google info is incorrect! They o ly work mon-thu thou they state business opens mon-sat.

When it was six Day dental it was so much easier to work around your schedule and still get your teeth taken care of. Now Ortho runs the schedule and you only get one week out of the month to squeeze your kids into their braces appointment. It's ridiculous last time I checked the customer should be the one being catered too not the orthodontist. If he's overwhelmed you need to hire more. Went from feeling like a warm welcoming neighborhood establishment to feeling like I'm walking through a Walmart.. next.. next.. next. The level of professionalism is going out the door the level of customer service is long gone out the door. Now we're just like chattel we're just another number. You were 6 days for a reason. Now I feel like my money is being held prisoner because I can't take my business elsewhere. Soon as the treatments are done I'm out I have nothing good to say about this company now that it was bought out by another.

We USED to got to Next Century Dental in Watagua and LOVED it. Dental Care of Texas took over and it was still good until they closed their Watagua location and did not inform anybody that had appointments. I spoke to several people that had appointments and NOBODY was contacted. Imagine people's suprise when they show up to find an empty building. I will never go to a Dental Care of Texas if that is how they choose to treat their existing, long time patients.

They make you wait in the back everytime I come. Making my anxiety grow the longer I sit there. Why can't I fill out paperwork when I come for my visit out front. They are very disorganized. I will go elsewhere.

I started coming to this location in 2018. I drive over an hour to come to this location because the customer service use to be amazing. After today's visit this will be my last time drive out to Dental care of Texas. If I wanted low class i could have went to any dentist or orthodontist located on Buckner

Friendly and helpful. My dentist moved to this location earlier this year and this was my first visit to the Roanoke location. It was clean and my visit was quick and fixed the issue I was having with an existing bridge.

Bad service to the customer apart they don't give you information of any changes and they also changed to a different company and they never told anyone and they then raised the price on my family when we never service from the place and my family lost 1,200 in a MONTH and si far 1,600 (still no service) we called everyone and even one of their workers from a different dental place called "BRACES" and they did nothing we do not recommend this place.
