Benjamin J. Martin, DMD, MS, graduated in 2011 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and then in 2014 pursued his Certificate for Oral Biology and Specialty in Orthodontics from the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry.
A straight, beautiful smile is universally sought after. While it is an aesthetically pleasing feature, it enhances a persons overall health in many ways. When a persons teeth are not in alignment, the function of the teeth and jaw are not optimal; therefore, food may not be digested properly, excellent oral hygiene is difficult, wear and tear on the teeth is advanced, and the pressure from the misalignment may cause headaches and facial pain.
As a young grade school student, I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. It wasnt until I attended a dental mission trip to Honduras that I knew that I wanted to be a dentist. While in dental school, my passion and interest in orthodontics grew. I learned and was inspired by some of the best orthodontists at Baylor. I feel very blessed to be able to use my skills, education, and the latest orthodontic advancements to perfect smiles.

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Martin likes downhill skiing, cycling, mountain biking, and participating in triathlons. In addition, Dr. Martin enjoys staying active in the community and volunteering every opportunity he gets.
During the first phase, the orthodontist has no control over 16 unerupted permanent teeth. If after they grow in, problems still exist, further treatment will be required. A separate fee will be quoted at that time. Treatment usually takes 12 to 24 months at age 12 to 13.

Very disappointed with quality of dental cleaning. Immediately went home afterwards and brushed/flossed my teeth since teeth felt no cleaner.

Dr. Sangeeth has offered an exceptional service during our recent visit of our 3 kids. She was very patient with them and eased their fear to fill in cavities. She made us feel comfortable and explained everything thoroughly. Staff has been great and very friendly.

I have had many procedures done here by multiple different doctors and they are all good and very nice. Staff is sweet as well and seldom do I ever wait too long to be seen. This is my family dentists long as we live in the area.

My husband had a bad tooth and 3nded up having to have it pulled and will have to have an implant put in. Dental Care of Texas was very concerned and caring and got him right in for an appointment and worked with us on a price with our insurance for this is an expensive procedure and they were very gentle with my husband during the tooth pulling process. They made sure he had the antibiotics he needed and kept checking on his progress. He'll have a long ways to go here. We look forward to working more with them.

I'm sorry but this appointment was not very positive. The wait was over an hour when I had a scheduled appointment. When I was finally in a room I waited more. When a staff member came in for my appointment it was NOT an orthodontist. The work on his braces was not quality work. In fact he had to be taken back in to the office because a wire was not secured properly and was jabbing his cheek.

Dr. Means shaved down my canines without my permission back when i had braces. These people had no patience or gentleness. I still have glue in my back molar from when they forgot to get it all out. They also lie about when ur going to get your braces off and profit off of it.

The front office was outstanding, helpful and utmost professional. The Hygenist is very thorough and efficient. I will have this dentist do my crowns soon (when I overcome my fear).
