Dental Care of Sherwood is the Family Dental Practice of Dr. Adam Tyberg. We are committed to providing excellence in dental care, and focus on giving our patients the best experience possible. We are conveniently located off Tualatin Sherwood Road and Oregon Street, with easy access from Tualatin, Sherwood, Wilsonville, and Tigard.
Hello, Im Adam. Thank you for visiting my practices website. I am thoroughly dedicated to the dental care of my patients. I have a strong desire to be the best at everything I do, dentistry included. Excellence in dental care is what I, and my staff, are here to provide for you.
I was born and raised in Wisconsin, where I attended Marquette University School of Dentistry. I graduated with my DDS in 2008. Even though I already had a family to take care of, I decided to put off practicing for a year in order to accelerate my skills in a general practice residency. My family spent that year with me at the University of Utah, where I quickly increased my clinical skills and scope. After this formative year, my wife and I decided to follow our hearts even further west.
We wanted to move to the Portland, OR area for the beautiful weather, and for the abundance of outdoor activities. I started by working in an emergency dental clinic in Portland, where I greatly improved my skills handling dental emergencies. I wanted to be able to make the decisions that affect my patients such as choice of dental material and laboratory. I knew that I wanted my own practice. After searching for the right place to practice, I was given the enormous opportunity to purchase my current practice in Sherwood, OR.
Because I want to offer the best possible dental care to my patients, I seek out continuing education from the most respected leaders in dentistry. I am currently taking courses through the Kois Center, which is based on the principle of Advancing dentistry through science, as well as the Pikos Institute, where they are dedicated to creating surgical excellence. Through these courses, I am increasing my skills in all aspects of dentistry.
I live in Sherwood, OR with my wife Sarah, our two fantastic grade school girls, our dogs Bruno, Stella, and Tom, our cat Meow Meow, and a small flock of chickens. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family skiing, hiking, and homebrewing. I am hoping to start painting again soon (Before I went to dental school, I received a fine art degree in painting from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.) Oh yes, I also enjoy following my sports teams: the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
I believe that by treating my patients as I would a family member, I give them the best care. That is just what I strive for. I want my patients to know that what I recommend for their care is the same care that I would recommend if they were my wife, my brother, my father, or my child. My staff and I really love people, and we know that most people dont enjoy going to the dentist, so we work to make the experience as comfortable as possible. I hope I get to meet you soon!

I am, like the majority of us out there, not one that usually looks forward to my dental visit but Dr. Tybergs office is great! Shannon the hygenist is the best! She is thorough, polite, always asks if your comfortable and what flavor cleaning toothpaste you want (a nice little touch). The office staff are all super nice and professional. Highly recommend.

By far the best dentist office visit I've ever had! The team was prompt, courteous, thorough, and incredibly friendly. My cleaning was painless and quick, and I left feeling so confident about my teeth! Scheduling online was seamless, and I was able to do all my paperwork in advance so there was nothing I had to fill out at the appointment. Overall, 10/10 customer service

Dental care of Sherwood is a 5 star dentist office, I've been going there for a few years and am more than satisfied with the work I've had done, office is top notch, staff is more than friendly they take great care of me every time I'm there,Dr Adam does very professional work, l recommend this dentist office highly to anyone in search of a new dentist today.

The staff is great, very friendly and somehow know my name even when I drop by unexpectedly to set up an appointment. Dr. Tyberg explains things very well, he really seems to cares about my teeth (and my fear of needles). He just called me at home to check up on me. Yesterday he completed the third and final session of placing crowns on all my lower teeth, which were severely worn. My new teeth look and feel great! I've been very pleased with all the dental work I've gotten there and highly recommend Dental Care of Sherwood.

Paged the doctor three times in a night after I went to urgent care and they told me that my pain was related to the dental work I recently had done. The dentist office said oh sure we can help her out so urgent care did nothing, and then the dentist never even called me back. I recently had a crown done, and no one had the courtesy to call me back after telling urgent care they would handle it, so I've spent several nights in pain now and everyone keeps sending me to someone else. I had $1500 in dental work done but if it's not dental related - fine, just don't leave me hanging for 24 hours if you're out of the office for the day. Anytime I've been given any emergency dental number, even if the doctor couldn't do anything, he would call back and tell me that so the urgent care could have treated me. Instead, I had to call in the next day after the office opened just to get a reply to 3 voicemails and 1 live call (not to mention urgent Care's call) and all for the dentist to say "I don't think it's dental related but I'm happy to let the urgent care know that"...thanks. The dental work went fine and all, but I don't find the bedside manner and treating me like the pain I'm having is inconsequential to be good service. Dentists are a dime a dozen and this one seems to have just wanted my $. I feel like everyone treated me like I'm some kind of junkie when I've got radiating pain through my jaw and into my ear/head. I guess this is Oregon, but I won't go back to a dentist who won't even return three emergency pages and left me hanging. Now I can go back to urgent care and wait another 3+hours with my kids or sea with the pain until it goes away or gets obviously infected so that the urgent care can see that. Awesome.
