Dr. Cai has always had a passion for the arts. She grew up sewing, sketching, sculpting, and painting on canvas. When Dr. Cai isnt working with the arts or spending time with family and friends, she enjoys indoor rock climbing and growing plants! More than anything, Dr. Cai really enjoys meeting new people and looks forward to having new experiences every single day.

I am truly passionate about providing exceptional, painless restorative dental care and its impact on the health and quality of life of my patients. As a child, I remember my fear of the dentist and having to chew on painful teeth, embarrassed by the black cavities in my front teeth and crooked smile. One compassionate dentist changed all that, alleviating my fears and restoring my diseased mouth. He taught me about cavities and prevention.
Later, braces gave me a comfortable, healthy, and confident smile. I want to do the same for my patients. I want to know their stories and goals for their health and smiles. I enjoy and understand the importance of spending time with my patients to educate them about the benefits of good oral health and prevention. I want to understand their concerns and create a customized plan to help meet their goals and objectives. Thereby providing long-lasting, comfortable, functional, confident smiles.
Dr. Glavin has been a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry since 2016, but he has been a member of the AGD since 1998. He has completed over 2400+ hours of Continuing Education contact hours including:Bachelor of Science - Stonehill College Easton, Massachusetts
Dr. Glavin is an active member of the New England Master Track XII of the Academy of General Dentistry 5-Year program towards mastership, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, The Dawson Academy Alumni Association, The Pankey Institute Alumni Association, the Seattle Study Club Alumni Association, the International Team for Implantology Alumni Association, the New England Dental Society Alumni Association, and the American Equilibration Society Alumni Association.
Dr. Glavin was born and raised in Brockton, Massachusetts, and graduated cum laude from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts. Right after graduation, Dr. Glavin and his wife were married in Stonehills Chapel of Mary. While attending Georgetown Dental School, the couple had two of their three children while Dr. Glavin worked several part-time jobs prior to graduating in 1985.
After graduating from Georgetown Dental School, Dr. Glavin and his family moved back to Massachusetts. The couple had their third child, and Dr. Glavin developed a large multi-doctor practice in Borne, Massachusetts. Years later, he sold his practice and lived briefly in Connecticut, before moving to Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, to live closest to his eldest son, daughter-in-law, and four of his grandchildren.
In Dr. Glavins free time, he enjoys having adventures with his wife and grandchildren, including fishing, hiking, playing cribbage, and going camping. He also loves to take walks with his wife and their rescued Yorkshire Terrier, Pete, and going hunting with his son!

This was my first time at dental Care of sherrills Ford. From the receptionist to the hygienist to the doctor everyone was very kind very polite and very caring of my well-being. I will certainly pass on my experience with anyone who's looking for a dentist

I had an emergency situation and my regular dentist is closed on Fridays and did not take my emergency yesterday. My husband called this practice after several other places and they accepted to see me as a new patient, on Friday to take care of the filling in my molar tooth. The front office staff was wonderful upon arrival. They greeted me and answered all my questions. I was called back at 11 on the dot, which was my appointment time. The Assistant, Jessica was was very sweet. I meet Dr Cai and she was also very through and fantastic. She was able to fix my tooth and now I am pain free. The best part is they are open on Fridays and on Tuesday and Thursday till 6:00 for those that need later appointments. Thank you !!

Every time I visit, the customer service and the care from the hygienists and the dentists is top notch. I have moved farther away, but it is worth the drive to get this type of service. I recommend to Dental Care to everyone!

Dr Glavin and Arlene my hygienist make a great team ! The most thorough exam Iv every had and I'm 63. They were pro active explained the condition of gums and teeth gave me a diagnosis and treatment plan. We're super friendly great sense of humor professional doesn't do them justice ! They exceeded my expectations. I actually enjoyed my visit !! Office staff was friendly as well and met my needs on scheduling my up coming appointments. Thank you Sincerely Stephen White
