Dr. Truka is from Omaha, Nebraska. She attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She chose Red Oak as the community to start her practice in 1993 and has enjoyed it immensely. Continuing education is a priority for her and she has completed numerous hours on the latest technology such as lasers, implants, cosmetics, and digital x-rays. Dr Truka is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Iowa and Southwest Iowa Dental Association, Donated Dental Services of Iowa, and is a proud member of many community & civic organizations. Outside of dentistry, Dr Truka spends time with her family and enjoys school and community events. Dr. Truka loves living in a small town, and is honored to be a part of your life. She looks forward to helping you attain a healthy and beautiful smile.
In addition to our doctor, our professionally trained team is complete with licensed hygienists, expanded function dental assistants, and friendly accommodating office staff. The majority of our staff has over 10 years experience in the dental field. They attend and participate in many continuing education courses to enhance the patients dental experience.

Absolutely lovely experience with this office! Professional and courteous staff, timely appointment, and dental care going above-and-beyond the service norm. From the front desk to the hygienist, to Dr. Truka- couldn't have asked for a more nurturing and supportive visit for my family (and young, hesitant children)! Will not be going anywhere else, the kids can finally enjoy the dentist! Thanks again Dental Care team!

Absolutely superb! As an out of town stranger, they took care of my dental emergency on a weekend very well. Their technology is state of the art. And, the dental care is first rate. Appointments have always been handled quickly and correctly, including frequent adjustments due to my uncertain business travel schedule. And their bills are reasonable.

Very unprofessional first i schedule an appointment then they rescheduled it then rescheduled the appointment and told me they would call me to reschedule the appointment that they already rescheduled. Then they never called me back and i finally called them back and then they said they wouldnt be able to get me in until next month. Ridiculous
