Dr. Matthew Henry, D.D.S., F.A.G.D., attended Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where he started his pursuit in a career in dentistry to provide best-in-class oral care and to give his patients a confident and radiant smile that will last a lifetime. Dr. Henry is committed to ongoing education, training, and professional memberships. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but truly enjoys oral surgery, sedation dentistry, complex occlusion, TMD/Chronic pain, and endodontics.
Dr. Henry is committed to providing best-in-class patient care as he engages, connects, and builds trustworthy relationships that extend beyond the chair. It is that approach that he believes sets his team apart empathy throughout the patient care journey.
When Dr. Henry is not in the office creating beautiful smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family, meditation, yoga, working out, reading, playing board games and cooking. I am a student of Soto Zen Buddhism and have taken vows at the local Zen Sangha here in Jacksonville.

First time I went to dentist in a while cause they scare but the team is extremely friendly and nice. Just willing to work with you and Omar was exceptional and make sure I wasn't in any pain during the deep cleaning.

Definitely one of the best dental offices I've ever been to. They really care about they patients and the one lady at the front desk which I think her name is Thomasina is very kind and polite!

The dentist was friendly and professional. The office is dated. I recommend verifying with your insurance company prior to being seen to verify if they accept your plan. I called the office prior to appointment and asked was insurance accepted and was told yes. At appointment I gave my insurance card, and it was ran. Minutes later I was then called back. At the end of appointment, I was told at check out that my insurance plan wasn't accepted and I had a $300 bill. When questioned why? Was told insurance wasn't verified until after I was seen. Therefore my visit would be self pay. Advised I would have preferred to have been told that PRIOR to being seen. I have dental insurance for a reason and don't have money to waste.

The most HORRIBLE communication and UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGMENT I have ever dealt with. The office manager is extremely unprofessional and was bad mouthing the dentist office that she sent me to have 3D xrays done, she even went as far as to say that they wanted her to work for them but she didnt like their snobish attitudes. I now believe they probably did not want her because of her lack of professionalism. When I went in originally requesting pricing for some extensive work they could not manage to schedule appts and provide facts about how this process would work. They scheduled one time for an appt, sent text reminders with a different time than they scheduled and then they (office manager) called to confirm and provided me with a 3rd different time. When I arrived for my appt they (the office manager) acted as if they had no clue what time my appt was, what i was there for and failed to have any pricing together. Every reason they gave of course way my fault and they accepted no responsibility for their confusion on things. I have ZERO faith in their ability to provide quality dental service when they cannot even provide quality customer service.

Coming into the office the atmosphere was amazing. Good music and the customer service was phenomenal. They made my first experience wonderful. I will be coming back and recommending family also

This was my second visit to River Run Smiles. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. The facility is nice and clean. I noticed that the staff would come out and sanitized the lobby that made me feel comfortable and safe.

River run smiles has literally the best staff ever, I've never felt more taken care of in my 28 years. The Doctor is very kind and talks your through everything that is happening to you and warns you when things might get rough. I'm actually not scared of the dentist anymore thanks to the wonderful people and the wonderful doctor here.
