Dr. Julie Glud was raised in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. She received her undergraduate Degree from Saint Marys College in Notre Dame, Indiana and went on to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2005. Following dental school, Dr. Glud completed an additional year of advanced training at the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. There she gained invaluable experience with implants, cosmetic dentistry, and various advanced procedures.
In May of 2016, Dr. Glud took over the practice of Dr. Mark Doll who had been a well-respected clinician in the Lombard area for over 35 years. She looks forward to building relationships with his long-standingpatients and welcoming new families into the practice as well.
Dr. Glud is a strong believer of continuing education and stays on top of the latest advancements in dentistry and is eager to incorporate new technologies into the practice. She is amember of the Chicago Dental Society, American Academy of Dentistry and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. She strives to create a welcoming environment and deliver individualized and compassionate care for each patient and has been known to put even the most phobic patients at ease!
My passion for dentistry began when I was 17 when I was given an opportunity to work as an assistant to my orthodontist. I learned so much and wanted to further my knowledge of dentistry by working various positions over a 15 year period. Dental hygiene was my final objective. With the support of family & friends, I graduated from C.O.D. in May 2019 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. What I love most about providing preventative oral care is listening to my patients, understanding their needs, and following through with empathy, professionalism, and excellent clinical skills.
On a more personal note, I have a wonderful husband, Paul, and two amazing children, Donato and Gabrielle. We live locally in Elmhurst. I enjoy going to sporting events, concerts, singing karaoke, playing cards, and bingo.

I expect my dentist and staff to be professional and take great care of my teeth and gums. Dr. Julie Glud does not disappoint in this regard! But I also learn something about how I can care for my teeth and gums or about dental health every visit. They individualize my care and are kind and very gentle.

Dr. Glud and her team are exceptional. I went to her for a broken tooth and after the exam she told me I needed a crown . I've had "crowns" done previously by other Dentists. Dr. Glud performed my procedure and in all the years of going to Dentists, I've never had any deliver the attention to detail like Dr. Glud . You just know you are in the best hands. She makes you feel at ease, comfortable and is genuinely concerned for her patient. I can't endorse this practice any higher other than to say, Dental Care of Lombard is my new Dentist!

The ladies in this beautiful office are so sweet and amazing! They were very informative and polite during our visit. The office is so cozy and comfy that it puts away any dental anxiety you may have and gives you a sense of warmth and peace. All of them are detail oriented and professional! I love it. It was checkup time and a cleaning. Great experience as always. Excellent practice. I'm adding to this review because I have been going here for a few years now and I'm still very happy with the quality of the services provided. You will not be disappointed. This was my first visit here and from the moment I was greeted by the receptionist I had a good feeling. The hygienist was excellent and thorough, pointing out what I should be doing from now on to improve my habits. The dentist followed up with recommendations as to what was needed for repairs. I followed up with a second visit to start on the needed work and had one of my best visits to a dentist ever. It was a long visit but I felt nothing, I only heard the tools being used. This is the next day now and I have no signs that I'd even been worked on. This place is definitely our family dentist.

As always, I was greeted with courtesy. The office is clean and bright. It appears that Dr. Glud uses the best technology. Nicki did a great job cleaning my teeth. I would highly recommend Dr. Glud's dental practice.
