Dr. Carson is a native of Kershaw. He is a graduate of Clemson University and the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. He served honorably in the US Air Force and has been in private practice in Camden since. He is married to the former Sybil Bell of Kershaw and they have three children, Cameron, Welsh, and Nancy, and five grandchildren.

Dr. Carson is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, Sumter County Dental Society, and the South Carolina Academy of Implant Studies. He has served as president of The Pee Dee Dental Society and The Kershaw County Dental Society. He is a board member of the Community Medical Clinic and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as well as the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Carson has been very active in arranging school screenings and care for indigent students by members of the Kershaw County Dental Society.

Over the years Dr. Carson has been involved in many civic endeavors. He is past president of the Camden Rotary Club, past president of the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Camden Country Club, past V. P. of the Camden Jaycees, and past chairman of Kershaw County IPTAY. He was on the founding board of the Kershaw Center, The Each One Teach One program, and the Camden Tree Foundation. Dr. Carson is an elder at Bethesda Presbyterian Church. He enjoys golf, Clemson sports, and tending Sybil's horse farm.

Darlene is an honors graduate of Spring Valley High School and Midlands Technical College with a degree in Health Science. She was voted 'Outstanding Dental Hygiene Student' and is a past president of the Greater Columbia Dental Hygiene Society. Her hobbies include antique autos, church activities, fishing, and travel. She is married to John who works for Colliers, and they have one child, L. J., a graduate of Lander University. Darlene has worked with Dr. Carson Since September 1979.

Sherri is a graduate of Camden High School and Midlands Technical College with a degree in Health Science. She is married to Reggie, director of secondary education at Lexington/Richland District 5. They have one child, Josey, a 2014 graduate of Presbyterian College now living in Greenville. Sherri is a member of Lyttleton United Methodist Church. Her hobbies include lake activities, painting, exercising, and USC sports. She has worked with Dr. Carson since July 1991.

Kim is a 1993 graduate of Camden High School. She was a patient of Dr. Carsonas a child and has worked for him since 1994. She is married to Greg, who works for Invista, and they live in Lugoff with their daughter Mary. Kim enjoys traveling and quilting.

Jamie is from Westville and graduated from North Central High School in 2002. She has worked for Dr. Carson since 2004. She is married to Jamie, owner and CEO of Owens Engine Repair. After work, Jamie enjoys reading, sewing, woodworking, and spending time with her husband and two boys.

Jessica graduated from Mt. Olivet Christian School in Camden and now lives in Kershaw. She has an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Assisting from Midlands Technical College in Columbia. For the last seven years, she has worked at Kershaw Health, Elgin Primary Care, Surgical Associates in Camden, and Kershaw Health Primary Care offices. Jessica began working for Dr. Carson in February of 2017. She enjoys all outdoor activities and caring for her many animals.

A graduate of Carolina High School, Linda attended Greenville Technical College. She has former careers in travel services and banking and has worked with Dr. Carson since March 1997. She enjoys travel, gardening, reading, yoga, decorating, and her 'adopted children.' She is married to Steve who works with International Paper.

Kristen is a 2008 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a paralegal certificate. She previously worked at the State Newspaper and was a freelance magazine writer before taking time off to start a family. In February 2015, she started working for Dr. Carson. She stays busy raising three young boys (and an energetic Golden Retriever). In her (rare) free time, she enjoys going to the lake, traveling, and home decorating.

Becky graduated from North Central High School in 2011 and Central Carolina Technical College in 2014 with a certificate in Medical Record Billing and Coding. She worked at Pediatric Associates for almost four years. She is married to Mark, who is a Surgical Technologist at Wesmark Ambulatory Surgery Center in Sumter. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her fur babies.

April is a graduate of Camden High School and holds Associate Degrees in Science and Dental Hygiene. She is married to Roddy and they have two daughters, Everly and Elliott. To unwind, April likes to spend time with her family, close friends, and her dogs. April has been a dental hygienist since 2011.

Sarah was born and raised in Camden. She graduated from Midlands Technical College in 2012 with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science. Growing up with Dr. Carson as her primary dentist, she credits his wonderful staff for helping to inspire her love of dentistry. Sarah is married to Josh, who works for Cantey, Tiller, Pierce, and Green. They have two children, Wren and Reeves. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys visiting with family and friends, spending time on Lake Murray and Lake Wateree, and reading.

Donna attended Camden High School and went on to graduate from Limestone College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She retired from the State of South Carolina after 34 years. Donna has been a patient of Dr. Carson's for over 40 years and started working at Dental Care of Camden in October 2020. She has one daughter and enjoys spending time with her family, friends and fur babies. She also enjoys traveling and trying different foods.
