Having grown up in Colbert, Georgia, Dr. Powers is a graduate of Clarke Central High School in Athens. He then continued his education at Claflin University and University of Louisville School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Powers spent eight years providing dental care at Shawnee Health Care in Carbondale, Illinois. When he isn't practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, traveling with his wife, and watching football and basketball.

Horrible I took a day off to go for a routine cleaning as a new patient and after sitting for 2 hours waiting for the nurse to do the cleaning she tried to sell me a treatment for 780$ for periodontal problems which my previous dentist never mentioned. So I waited for 2 hours for doctor to show up so they told me they can't clean up my teeth today cause the next patient is there and because they can't do the normal cleaning on my teeth. 2 hours wasted for nothing and paid for it too. Absolutely horrible greedy folks with no consideration for the normal patient!!! Be aware don't go rip off for normal routine!!!

I always love going to Dental Care of Braselton. The entire office personal is "top shelf." If my family didn't live so far away, they would be patients as well. Dr Powers, you and your staff are the best!

All the girls in the front desk including the dental assistants and Doctor are always so pleasant. They welcome me with a great attitude and awesome work ethic. Wouldn't go anywhere else! If you're wanting a family friendly dentist this is the place to go!

Today was the third time IN A ROW that I have made an appointment, scheduled my day around the appointment, confirmed that I will be at the appointment, only to have someone call me at the last minute to tell me I need to reschedule the appointment. As a business owner, I am acutely aware of what good customer service looks like... and this is not it. It is completely disrespectful of my time and my schedule. This will be our final appointment. I switched dentists this morning.

Great service! My dental hygienist was EXCELLENT. So friendly, so informative and she took so much time to get my teeth to perfectly clean. I highly recommend this dental clinic.

Staff is so friendly and professional. My first experience here was pleasant despite my fear of dentist. Dr explained in detail about my procedure and I felt comfortable. I definitely recommend this place.

Way too many times I have called to make an appointment that I have to wait 4 or more weeks to be seen just to always get a call back a week before the appointment to say that they need to reschedule me "because they will be close that day" so many times it's ridiculous at this point. What it's going on?!!

This was my first time visit. All medical staff are super friendly and take time to explain what type of procedure you are about to have or need to have instead , making you feel at ease. I felt I was at very goods hands with Dr Terry Powers an his staff

I visited Dr Power practice today as a new patient for X-rays, checkup and cleaning. (Our former Dr sadly retired and I missed last three cleanings due to covid crisis.) So happy I found Dr Power and staff. Alex, my tech, was so pleasant and cleaned my teeth gently. Dr. Power is a very caring dentist. X-rays were a breeze! Staff is professional and efficient.
