Our office also accepts young patients and we welcome children to visit us and meet our friendly team! Our office has an area dedicated to kids, where they can read books and play videogames on our Playstation. While in the dental chair, children can also watch cartoons and other kids programming on HDTVs that are mounted above each dental chair.
Was born and raised in the Caribbean Island of Trinidad and Tobago. When he moved to the US he studied at Rutgers University, received his Masters from UMDNJ and his Doctorate in Dentistry at NYU where he received many awards in Aesthetic and Cosmetic dentistry. He continued on to complete his residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Ali currently lives in Westfield with his wife and 2 kids.
When he isnt practicing he loves to travel, dine and garden. What he enjoys most about practicing dentistry is meeting and learning about people and being an integral part of reestablishing and maintaining a patients oral health.
Dr. Amanda Hochstein earned her D.D.S. degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She completed her specialty training in Periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry, where she was able to train under some of the most prestigious members of her field. She earned her board certification in Periodontics, and has lectured at local and national dental conferences on a wide variety of periodontal topics. She has extensive experience in all aspects of periodontal treatment, from implants to bone regeneration, to gum grafting and laser therapy. She is also a member of the board of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists. Dr. Hochstein brings to our practice the latest and most effective periodontal and implant treatments available, and strives to provide treatment that is comfortable and predictable. She is a very caring and compassionate practitioner, who prides herself on the relationships she builds with her patients.
Dr. Hochstein resides in New Jersey with her husband Greg. When she is not taking care of patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and traveling. What she loves most about working at Dental Care Bridgewater is the opportunity to work alongside her father and continuing in the family tradition of exceptional patient care. Additionally, the office provides a warm and caring environment in which she can provide outstanding care for each patient she treats.

I would highly recommend Dental Care East Hanover to all of my friends and family. From the moment I contacted the office and was seen by Dr. Jaafar Ali it's all been a great experience. They've made me feel comfortable and addressed all of my concerns with no judgement. The staff has been professional, kind and overall very welcoming. I am someone who unfortunately, doesn't have dental insurance coverage and will need a few more visits. Their in-house dental plan has sincerely made a financial difference. I would give them 6 stars out of a 5-star rating!!!

Best Dentist in the area! Great service from top to bottom! From the moment you walk in the dental assistants follow you through all the steps and makes sure you understand everything and extremely caring! The Dr. Ali is by far the best dentist I've ever had, had some serious work to do and Dr. Ali made it look like a piece of cake. Highly recommend!

I can honestly say I have no confidence in this Dentist. I went to this dentist for a routine check up and cleaning, since it is a new office close to my home. Though, I had just gone to the dentist three months ago for a cleaning and was not informed I had any concerning issues with my teeth. After the checkup he stated I had 3,500 worth of work between deep cleaning, re-setting some teeth and redoing some root canals. He stated not to worry since I had a great insurance plan. He thought he had himself a nice little cash cow. Beware when you go to this dentist for a visit, his main concern is how much money he can get from his customers for unnecessary procedures. If you have good insurance plan, you will be a cash cow for this office.

Having moved to the area, and trying to find a new medical and dental team was "nerve wrecking" . First, the clinic/surgery is clean. Second, the staff and team are very welcoming, and personal in their approach, even with complicated dental matters, one feels understood and cared for. From the moment I walked into the office I felt at ease. Everyone in this office are nice and friendly! My cleaning was great and they explained everything to me. They took individual pictures of my teeth and explained what needed to be done. My entire family has moved their dental care to this office! They will also work with you on a payment plan...even if you have dental insurance.

I found this dental practice through Groupon. I am ever so happy that I did. From the moment I contacted the office everybody was extremely helpful and informative. Even though I got lost on the way to the office, the front desk people were very understanding and helpful. When I got to the office which by the way was pristine, my dental hygienist took x-rays and gave me an excellent cleaning and instruction in home care, Especially important to me since I am a senior. I had a thorough examination by Dr. Ali who examined my teeth and gums, explained what needed to be done , what was a priority, and what could be planed for the future. I am definitely returning and would highly recommend Dental Care East Hanover for excellent dental care.
