Dr. Gregory Stiver earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1984. After graduating, he worked as an associate in a dental office before he started his own practice in 1986. He now works as the CEO and owner of Dental Care Center of South Kansas City, and he provides dentistry on a day-to-day basis.

Dr. Stiver believes in the importance of furthering his education so that patients are always getting the best care possible in our office. He has advanced education hours in IV sedation and dental implant dentistry. By offering advanced sedation and tooth replacement solutions, Dr. Stiver is able to help many patients who would otherwise have to suffer decades with dentures.

When he is away from the office, Dr. Stiver enjoys going out on two wheels. He is an avid bicyclist and enjoys the exercise. Dr. Stiver is married to Ginger, whom you might also see around the office. He is a father to three children: Lauren, Clayton, and Mallory.

Ginger has been married to the owner for over 35 years. Together, they are the pair of docs, as Ginger used to own and practice out of a veterinarian clinic in Martin City. After having 3 children, she decided to retire from veterinary medicine and become a stay-at-home mom. Now that her kids are all grown up, she stays busy managing the daily operations at the Dental Care Center and keeps the office running like a well-oiled machine. Ginger is the office conflict resolutioner and can find a solution to just about any problem, whether it be life or business. She is also responsible for the at-home feel you get when you walk into the office. As a retired vet, she is an avid animal lover and has many dogs, horses and cats at home.

Mallory has been at our office since 2015, helping with our marketing both internally and externally. She is the face behind any Facebook post, mailer, office giveaway or free dental days, and hers is the voice you will hear when you get your confirmation call. Occasionally, you may see her running around Martin City in a T-Rex or Tooth costume. When not in the office, Mallory is usually busy riding and competing horses, making artwork, falling down YouTube rabbit holes, exploring abandoned places or working towards her marketing management degree. Mallory is among one of the many animal lovers in our office and has two dogs, two cats and two horses.

Amy is our trusty financial coordinator and a huge asset to our team. She has been working in the dental industry since 2005 and has been working at the Dental Care Center since 2013. Amy is known for her quiet, calm and relaxing demeanor around the office. At home, Amy is married with two boys, and she loves spending her weekends and evenings going to basketball tournaments.

Deb is another one of our amazing insurance coordinators. Deb moved from Colorado to the KC area in 2014 and we are so happy to have someone with her experience working on our team. She has been in the dental field since 1984. She attended and graduated from Salt Lake City College of Medical & Dental Careers and brings a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to the board. When Deb is not at the Dental Care Center, she is usually at home with her 3 cats, traveling, or hanging out with friends and making people laugh.

Lauren is the offices jack of all trades, as she has been working in the dental field, specifically at the Dental Care Center, since 2006. She simultaneously works the front office and helps with assisting in the back. Having Laurens expertise and experience in our office is crucial to keep the front and back offices working together seamlessly. When shes not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter, traveling, working out, riding horses, reading, shopping and managing her rental properties. Lauren is passionate in home decorating and has a goal of running her own real estate empire.

Melissa is our insurance guru and has been working at the Dental Care Center since 2015. Prior to working here, she worked in the animal field and knows just about all there is about any type of animal. She is our office walking Wikipedia page and can spout off obscure facts about animals, strange illnesses or random unsolved murder mysteries. Melissa has been married to her high school sweetheart since 2017, and together they own 2 dogs, 2 cats and a tortoise named Elmer. Melissa and her husband enjoy traveling together, fishing and generally being outdoors.

Kim D. is one of our amazing hygienists here at the Dental Care Center. Though she has only been here since 2016, she has made a huge impact on our office and all of our patients. Kim has over 20 years in dental hygiene, as well as previous experience as a director of education for a dental assisting school and consulting for dental offices. All of this experience makes her not only an amazing hygienist, but a great leader and role-model for the rest of our team. When she is not busy giving you a clean smile, she is at home spending time with her husband and their four dogs and one cat. Kim is a frequent traveler and loves to go to places with a beach or water.

Sara is a bright, warm-hearted hygienist at our office you always know shes here when you can hear her contagious laugh in the office, and she will always be there to greet you with a comfortable smile. Sara has been a hygienist since 2012 and has been at the Dental Care Center since 2018. She is married to her husband, Matt, and together they have two fur children named Jack and Lucy, and a beautiful young daughter named Molly.

Kim H. is one of three other Kims in our office, as you can imagine.. it can get pretty confusing around here! Kim H. is one of our lovely hygienists you have the option to see at the Dental Care Center, and her patients regularly comment on how clean their mouths feel after her detailed touch! Kim H. grew up in Southern Illinois, where she earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She has been working as a RDH since 2000, and we are happy to have her experience on the team! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful daughters, riding horses, or enjoying being outdoors!

Kim P. is another one of our jacks of all trades at the office, as she is able to rotate from the front and back offices. She has been a dental assistant since 2012, but also doubles up as a receptionist. Kim has two adorable young sons, Jaxon and Elian, and is welcoming her third son, Baby A, in the beginning of 2022. When she is not working or at school, she is spending time with her family, going to her baby brothers soccer games and being outdoors. Kim loves photography and all things art, as well as putting things together and then taking them apart.

Shyann is one of our many smiley, boisterous faces you will see or hear her friendly voice throughout the office. She started working in the dental field in 2018, when she worked with Dr. Sky assisting at an underprivileged childrens dental clinic. She was originally a registered Medical Assistant, but found a passion for dentistry and joined us at the Dental Care Center in 2020. She loves being able to give patients an extra boost of confidence whether shes helping with a smile makeover or just helping them reach their dental health goals. Her obvious love for dentistry and her nurturing personality makes her an excellent and attentive assistant, and an obvious asset to our power team! Outside of the office, Shyann is busy trying to keep up with her two young kiddos, or tailgating Chiefs games with her husband!

Monica is the newest dental assistant here at the Dental Care Center. Though she started working here in 2021, she has been working in the dental industry since 2016. Monica is another one of Dr. Skys finds, having worked with him in the past at previous offices. Monica was able to step right in and seamlessly integrated into the team, and her calm and soft spoken demeanor is a very welcoming breath of fresh air in an office full of rambunctious extroverts! Her relaxing personality makes Monica an excellent addition to our assisting team, however, her ultimate goal is to become a dental hygienist. And when that day comes, she will make an excellent addition to our hygiene team! In her free time, Monica loves relaxing and spending time with her daughter.

Karina is one of our greener members of the Dental Care Center family, entering the dental field when she started working here in 2020. Though she has only been assisting for a short time, she has been a sponge- absorbing everything quickly! Her attention to detail and her desire to learn has made her a valuable member of the team, not to mention she is another fun, friendly face to have around! In her free time, enjoys spending time going out or staying in with friends and family, or being a devoted dog mom to her American Pitbull, Lu. We look forward to having her here for many years to come!
