They scheduled my gf for a cleaning and xrays. When she showed up they did the xrays and then let her know that they currently do not have a hygienist and so they could not do the cleaning. We haven't been able to find a place yet that will do a cleaning for her without performing their own xrays and the insurance wont cover xrays twice. What a scam

UNVACCINATED STAFF As of today 738,000 Americans have died of COVID-19 and this office is encouraging its unvaccinated staff to closely interact with the public without warning. They are risking the lives of their patients, families and community. How could a place with so little regard for your health and science be trusted with medical care? For all of our safety, please stay away from the "Dental Care Center of Kingston".

Arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early, appointment was for 11:30, though I was not seen until 12:10 PM. The biggest issue though is that the glass/plastic sliding window that is supposed to keep the data entry people and receptionists conversations a bit more confidential and quiet, does not do that. It just keeps their air in with them, but the whole waiting room can hear their conversations. Including, yet not limited to,; Confidential client information Swear/cuss words Opinions on clients/coworkers/people

My first appointment with them was in June. I had a difficult decision to make about some work I needed done and was nervous about going and even a little embarrassed. The day of my appointment I felt rushed and left more confused regarding some of the next steps in my treatment plan. I really didn't know what questions to ask so that left me further in the dark but I figured I'd take one step at a time from what I WAS told. I was told to make an appointment with an oral surgeon and the call after I had a procedure done to make the next appointment with this office. Ok, so I did exactly that but when I called I was not given a new appointment but was told to fully heal first THEN call. By the time I called again after 3 additional weeks, I was asked if I had gotten a pre-approval for the additional work I needed done....?? This was the first time I heard about needing a pre-approval and by now it is the beginning of August and my first appointment with this place was June 17. So they tell me they will put in for one and then I'd hear from my insurance. ANOTHER two weeks goes by and I felt that was too long for a pre-approval. I call my insurance company and that's when I am told there was NO request for a pre-approval!! I call AGAIN and they told me, "Oh, oops. There seems to be a "glitch" and it never went through! We'll send it again." I asked how long it would take and was told since it was already late on a Tuesday and it takes 48hrs to send electronically it will be another week. I call my insurance company again to find out how long they would take and they said roughly 3-5 business days from the time they received it from the dentist office. Ok cool. No biggie. A week and a half goes by. We are now at the end of August and I call this office AGAIN and asked if they've heard anything and I was asked if I had received anything from the insurance or not either and I said no and it's been a good week and a half almost two and was told, in an extremely condescending voice, "Oh well, there's your problem. The insurance takes about 2-3 weeks." ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? That was extremely different information from what I was originally told by both companies! I almost lost my cool and asked if there was any way to get started with the next steps anyway because I already know my insurance will cover what I need done and I was told I needed to speak to the office manager about that but she wouldn't be in until the next morning. I called my insurance back and found out that once again there was no pre-approval request!! I also was told that should have been done when I had my first appointment! No work should have been done until I was pre-approved! It is now the week of August 24 when I found this all out. They didn't even have a claim for my first appointment with this office! I didn't even bother calling back and filed a complaint with the insurance company. I also found another dentist to see and I saw them on September 8th and just yesterday on September 10th got a call from the insurance company telling me I was approved for new work! I also left the new dentist office with my next appointment lined up! This place is a joke. Lack of regard for people who solely rely on them to provide accurate information. Unprofessional and incompetent! Lack of communication and the ball is always dropped somewhere. Not cool when you're dealing with people's teeth and their self esteem. Thanks for making me feel extremely scared and insecure for months.

When here in major pain for an emergency , they didn't do anything... they cleaned my teeth did a terrible job. Didn't even help me with the pain at all now I'm sitting at home crying in pain and most likely gonna have to go someplace else and pay for a good cleaning out of my own pocket even though I have insurance ... if you have Medicaid please find a different dentist to go to cause they don't do much to help you ..... don't say I didn't try to worn you...

Drove 30 miles after going to a lot of trouble to arrange day so that I could be at the Dental Care Center of Kingston for a scheduled appointment. Turned out that dentist that I had an appointment with was not in and so appointment was cancelled. No one bothered to call me nor did they offer an apology. Guy at reception just wanted to know if I wanted to reschedule. UPDATE: Rescheduled appt. Showed up and, once again appt was cancelled because Hygenist didn't show up for work. Didn't find out until I was at their office. Will never make an appointment with this place again.

The people there are very, very nice but the office schedule SUCKS. They are extremely overbooked. Had 2 appointments today; one at 2:00 and one at 3:00. I didn't get into the 2:00 appointment until 2:30. Ended up cancelling the 3:00 appointment when at 3:45 I still wasn't in, and they said it was going to be an additional 45 minute wait. They need to learn how to schedule appointments better. I'm seriously considering finding another dentist because of this.
