I grew up on a family farm in Howard, SD and knew from an early age that I wanted to be a dentist in South Dakota, so I feel blessed to be living my dream. The first step to achieving this was going to South Dakota University and then graduating from dental school in Lincoln, NE in 2013.
Since then, my passion for dentistry has continued to grow, especially my love of general dentistry. I enjoy getting to know the whole family from grandparents down and truly consider it an honor to be caring for your familys health. I feel fortunate to build long-term relationships with people who are hard-working and genuine. Our tremendous team shares the same values and truly love what they do. We all aim to show patients that we dont judge and our priority is YOU!
One of the biggest rewards of my job is educating a patient who is so scared of walking through a dental office door, and then having them leave with a new perspective on dentistry. I want my patients to feel confident about themselves, and I feel like a healthy smile is such an important part of the whole picture.
From a young age I lived on a farm near Corsica, SD and originally pursued a career in civil engineering before deciding dentistry would be the best fit for me. I always wanted to work with people and apply my skills of construction and engineering on a smaller scale. I find dentistry so rewarding as our team can make an instant change in someones life, whether its getting them out of pain or giving them their dream smile. It can truly change someones life!
I attended Creighton University College of Dentistry and graduated in 2017. Since then Ive started working with my wife Jennifer and have seen the importance on making each patient THE priority. In fact, we view each patient as our patient and are excited to have a team approach to treating everyone. Its nice to get a second opinion from each other.
The staff at Dental Care Center is wonderful! My daughter (age 3) and I have had nothing but the best care at each visit. The staff is creative at making it a wonderful experience for individuals of all ages.

Due to our dentists background in dental science, they are exemplary at explaining each procedure and pinpointing the exact care you need. However, no treatment is carried out until you give the go ahead and feel ready.
We believe communication is a two-way street, so we strongly encourage you to share your thoughts, questions, and concerns with us. Our team partners with you to achieve your goals in a way that you feel comfortable with.
Our approach is to take care of your chief complaint first and explain the root cause of the issue. We wont just patch you up and send you on your way, but rather will develop a relationship with you and explain how you can maintain optimal oral health.

I have had quite a bit of dental work done in the past couple of months. Dr. Jen and her staff have been incredible throughout the entire thing. They are efficient and are willing to answer any questions I have. Whether it is from the procedure they are doing or the billing. I highly recommend the Dental Care Center!

Our family has been very impressed with the care we have received at the Dental Care Center. My 4 young children and I went in for appointments this past week and everything went so smoothly. Even my 3 year old (who was quite nervous) had a very positive experience!

They are so patient and great with my kids! Absolutely everyone, from the time you walk in the door until the time you leave, is so kind and helpful. They have taken care of everything from crowns and pulling teeth to the basic cleaning and sealants for my family, and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Everyone is helpful and friendly. The hygienist explained everything she was going to do and asked my preferences. The doctor explained all the full mouth films they took and I could follow along on the monitor as he reviewed them.
