Dr. Brian Mitchell grew up in Marietta, Georgia and has remained in the state for the entirety of his education and career. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, graduating magna cum laude with a BS in biology. Afterwards, he attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Mitchell is passionate about providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care and making his patients feel like family. His goal is to make each patients experience as comfortable as possible by listening to their individual needs. Dr. Mitchell and his girlfriend, Emily, reside in Roswell, GA with their dog, Cassie, and cat, Walter.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Mitchell regularly volunteers at the Clarkston Community Health Dental Clinic. Outside of serving his patients, Dr. Mitchell is an accomplished singer/songwriter, having completed a full-length studio album of original songs and is often found playing gigs around the Atlanta area. He also enjoys exercising, traveling, going to concerts, and plays on a mens softball team.
Dr. Kimi Patel was raised in Farmington Hills, MI and attended the University of Michigan for her bachelors degree in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Sciences. She earned a doctorate from the University of Michigan College of Dentistry as well. After completing her doctorate in Ann Arbor, she moved to Cincinnati, OH to further her education and complete an AEGD residency (Advanced Education in General Dentistry).
Dr. Kimi strives to provide patient-centered, comprehensive, and compassionate care. She values the importance of fostering relationships with her patients so that they feel comfortable and truly heard. She strongly believes in evidence-based dentistry and enjoys teaching patients the importance of oral hygiene. Dr. Patel is excited to join the Atlanta community and start building relationships with future patients at Dental Care Acworth.
Although Dr. Kimi enjoyed her snowy winters in Michigan, she opted to raise her family in warmer weather and truly feels at home in Georgia. Outside the office, Dr. Kimi enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, spending time with her husband and son, and supporting the University of Michigan athletics (Go Blue!).

Dr Kimi was great w me. I'm not real good on my personal oral hygiene... and my teeth needed a lot of work. She is very gentle, thorough and I think she would be great with kids (and adults that frequent the dentist only when things start to hurt... that's me). The clinic let's you know the costs up front... no surprises. Two thumbs up for the Dental Care Acworth!

Outstanding first visit. Felt comfortable. Rooms are all different and even decorated for holidays. Staff is nice and communicates everything with you. They gave me a plan sheet with pricing, everything broken down with details for my upcoming needed work. Best experience in years. Thank you

This place is absolutely wonderful! Very professional and knowledgeable. From the office staff to the dentist herself everyone is wonderful and very helpful. I had my teeth cleaned here which over all was fine. I made an appointment for my husband to also do a general cleaning. This was covered by his dental insurance and they wanted to charge him over $900 for a deep cleaning and refused to do the general cleaning that was covered. He was not able to get another appointment with another office since the insurance was being renewed and he lost the general cleaning. They have a lot of good reviews, because they ask you to leave a review on the spot in exchange for a t-shirt.

Carly, Dr. Kimi, & Erin provided my treatment. I came in a bit self conscious due to not having visited the dentist in over a decade. Not once did they "teeth shame" me. Dr. Kimi provided me with options on plans moving forward with my dental health. They made me feel right at home. This is a family oriented atmosphere. Erin, Carly and I shared jokes and laughs the entire time during my cleansing. This is more than a dentist, this place is an experience and I highly recommend them to anyone whose in a similar position as me. They are truly here to help. Love this place truly.

I'm a huge believer in Google reviews and found Dental Care Acworth because of the abundance of positive reviews. From the very first phone call, through my first exam and cleaning, I have been awestruck at the service, communication, friendliness, and really the entire experience. The only comparison I can come up with, is if Truett Cathy became a dentist instead of a restaurateur, this is the type of dentist office he would open. The reviews are real, and it's a great representation of my first visit. I'll admit when I first pulled up to the building, the curb appeal isn't great and I thought I got duped, but when I entered the office and was greeted by name for my appointment, I was immediately impressed. It is super clean, and have an amazingly friendly staff. Great job Dental Care Acworth team!
