Our office believesthis is not the kind of care that gets people on a road to health. In fact, it often does the opposite. For this reason, we choose to practice another way for the good and well-being of the people we serve. We wish to serve you totally and completely through taking the time to get to know you, your desires, and creating a partnership. This is why we only schedule one person at a time. It is our passion to coach and guide you toward a path of health, to where you need little to no dental work throughout your life.
Dr. Teresa Dawahare Lyon received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky in 1989 and continued her education with a two year General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Lexington, KY.
Since graduating from her residency program in 1989, Dr. Dawahare Lyon has continued to fine-tune her dental education in the areas of cosmetic dental smile design, restorative dentistry, sleep apnea, digital dentistry, as well as facial esthetic using Botox, dermal fillers, and PDO solid threads to bring all the facial and dental components together creating a more youthful smile as well as improved dental function.

Dr. Cash is one of 250 dentists worldwide accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is renowned for his artistry and skill as both a cosmetic and general dentist in Central Kentucky, where quality and personal touch have defined his extensive dental career.
Dr. Cash is an avid golfer and likes tournament competition. Reading, doing a little yard work, and working out with a personal trainer are other pastimes. He and his wife, Sally, enjoy traveling when not attending the various sporting and performing events of their five grandchildren.
Sarah is the newest member to our team and comes highly trained. She has been practicing dentistry for the last 16 years, eight years in Savannah, GA, and the last 8 years here in Lexington. She is proficient in all of our new dental technology and brings a lot to the table. In her free time she enjoys reading, playing tennis and spending as much time on the lake as possible.
Kim has been a loyal employee for over12years. She loves greeting and getting to know all of our wonderful patients. She is our go-to person for financing and ensuring your insurance paperwork is filed correctly and in a timely manner. She keeps our schedule running smooth and on-time. When shes not managing the office, she enjoys spending time with her grandson, Tate and her granddaughter, Dani, family, and friends.
Dawn has been the one and only full-time assistant at our office for the last 28 years. Her dedication to superb patient care is evident in how comfortable she makes our patients feel. She is by your side every step of the way! Dawn has been married for 27 years and has two handsome young sons. Other than her passion for Dentistry, she enjoys volunteering at various school activities, attending her sons lacrosse games, and traveling with her co-workers.

Always a good experience. The office presents a modern, professional, and pleasant environment. Appointments are taken on time; Dr Lyon and staff and make the effort to explain (and show) what to expect for a procedure, and the results. Patient comfort (glad I finally gave myself over to the heat & massage options of the chair!) and safety are foremost concerns. Two thumbs up!

I have such a wonderful experience every time at Dental Boutique at Lansdown! Dr. Lyon is just incredible - so professional , caring, and involved. I admire her more than I can say.... I feel so blessed to have her and her excellent staff (especially Dawn, Kim and Sarah) for all my dental needs.. They are all amazing and I certainly recommend their services. This practice has been meeting my dental needs for over 40 years. Nearly half that time I've lived in Dallas Texas and hadn't found a dental practice that compares in quality of work, staying up to date with procedure improvements and caring of the staff that works there. Most recent experience I broke a tooth while visiting friends in North Carolina. I called the office number and talked/text with Dr. Lyon. They worked me into their schedule as quickly as I could get to Lexington and replaced my tooth with a new porcelain crown process that could be done in one day! The tooth looks and feels wonderful. Dr. Lyons worked with the manufacturer of the tooth to make minor adjustments until she was satisfied with the results. Assuring I would be happy with the results. Love their new office and many staff members that I've gotten to know over the years. I would have no reservations in recommending this practice to anyone looking for quality work with minimum discomfort in preserving your teeth and mouth health for the long term.

I am deeply satisfied with the teeth cleaning treatment (biofilm removal) I receive at this practice. It is unique to my experience: my mouth feels extremely clean, down to the last crevice, yet the treatment itself is extremely gentle. I recommend it highly, and I plan to continue with it myself! I really enjoy all aspects of my visits to this office. Dr. Lyons is excellent, as are her staff (the hygienist, Sarah, is a delight, as is Dr Lyons), the new offices are gorgeous, and the technology is all cutting edge. I had a crown replacement performed here recently, and I marveled at how perfectly it all went, without even the slightest discomfort later -- the fit was perfect!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Cash since we moved to Kentucky in 1980. He and the lab he used have done 3 bridges and an implant for me. I trusted Dr. Lyon to continue my dental care. I recently had porcelain veneers done by Dr. Lyon and she used the sane lab who had done my other work. Dr. Lyon did an amazing job! My veneers feel natural and are beautiful and I'm completely satisfied. I highly reccomend Dr. Lyon and her great staff!

I can't say enough good things about the staff at the Dental Boutique of Lansdowne as well as Dr. Teresa Lyon. I trust them with my annual cleanings and most recently with my veneers. I couldn't be happier with the results. Professional and personable--a great combination to find in any office staff. I would give them a 10 star rating if I could.

Imagine a spa. Now imagine that this spa is conveniently located, has everything you want, and withholds all judgment about why you need a "spa day". Now imagine that there's someone who works at the spa who also just happens to have a DMD. That's basically what Dental Boutique is like. It's without fault. Going to the dentist just became synonymous with going to the spa.

Dr. Lyon is incredible! I am one picky patient and she fixed my crown to absolute perfection. Prior to that, she also came to my rescue during a cracked tooth emergency! She and her dental assistant, Dawn, are fantastic and get the job done RIGHT! They are incredibly knowledgeable with all that modern dentistry has to offer! I highly recommend Dental Boutique at Lansdowne...convenient location and sparkling clean office. You will leave smiling!

Dr. Lyon and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable, talented and kind when providing services. The office environment is modern, pleasant and clean! They have the most up-to-date equipment and make sure you have no pain or anxiety. They greet you with smiles and make your experience warm and inviting! For someone who experienced "dental trauma" as a child, I would not consider going anywhere else!

I recently visited the Dental Boutique for the first time and loved it. Dr. Lyon and all the staff are very warm and kind and the office has more of a spa feeling than a dental office. Definitely the place to go if you have anxiety about going to the dentist. They've really gone the extra mile to make it a pleasant experience.
