New gum disease treatments are amazingly simple and comfortable. Depending on your age you have a 35 to 50 percent chance of having a serious gum infection in your mouth right now and at least an 80 percent chance of having a mild gum infection. These infections are called periodontitis and gingivitis respectively and can lead to serious oral problems such as drifting teeth, loose teeth, and eventual tooth loss.
