Dr. Ficarelli received his D.M.D. and pediatric specialty training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Boston Floating Hospital of Tufts-New England Medical Center. Dr. Ficarelli is a board certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

He is Director of Dentistry at the Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children in Canton, and on staff at both Tufts Medical Center and the Franciscan Hospital for Children. Dr. Ficarelli also practices pediatric dentistry at Boylston Street Dental Group in Chestnut Hill.

He has the honor of serving as a member of the Board of Advisors of Tufts Dental School and on the Board of Directors of the Forsyth Institute. In 2010 he was inducted as a fellow of the American College of Dentists and is also a Fellow of the Academy of Dental Science and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Ficarelli was recently awarded the Distinguished Service Award of the Tufts University Alumni Association. A frequent lecturer on topics related to pediatric dentistry, he is a volunteer faculty member of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

He is a founding board member of Project Stretch: Dentistry Reaching Out to Children, an international dental volunteer organization. Dr. Ficarelli sings bass with the Highland Mens Glee Club, founded in 1908.

Dr. Petrie received his B.A. in Biology from Boston University and his D.M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He completed training in pediatric dentistry at Childrens Hospital of Boston and Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Petrie is board certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and a past President of the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He has been a Pediatric Dental Consultant at Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children for 27 years and also maintains a staff position at Franciscan Children's Hospital in Brighton, MA. Chosen by his peers, Dr. Petrie was voted one of the best dentists in the Boston region by Boston Magazine for 2020.

Dr. Danberg-Ficarelli is originally from Newton Centre, MA and now lives in Boston, where he earned his D.M.D from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During dental school he was chosen for a national leadership position in the American Student Dental Association. Dr. Danberg-Ficarelli continued at Tufts to complete his specialty residency in pediatric dentistry, and was appointed chief resident by the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. He was board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2014.

Dr. Danberg-Ficarelli earned his B.A. in economics and political science from Columbia College of Columbia University. Fluent in Spanish, he has lived and worked in Latin America, and is an active participant in Project Stretch: Dentistry Reaching Out to Children. He is an impassioned oarsman and hiker, and has competed in several organized endurance challenges. He also sings with the local Highland Glee Club.

Dr. Peiman Mahdavi, who joined Dental Associates of Walpole in 1994, received his B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of California at Davis and his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his general practice residency atTufts Medical Center, followed by a two year post-graduate residency in orthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Mahdavi served as President of the Massachusetts Association of Orthodontists from 2010 to 2012, and is a Director of the Tufts University Dental Alumni Association. He served as the President of Tufts University Dental Alumni Association from 2017 to 2018. In addition to practicing orthodontics at Dental Associates of Walpole he maintains a practice at Natick Dental Partners.

Dr. Mahdavi became an Invisalign certified orthodontist in 2000, and is now an Elite Invisalign Provider. Dr. Mahdavi is a proud partner of Smiles Change Lives, a national non-profit organization that helps kids from low-income families get braces.

He and his wife have two grown daughters and live in the Boston suburbs. As a family they enjoy skiing, traveling, and hiking. When Dr. Mahdavi is developing a patient's treatment plan,he always considers the approach as if it were someone in his own family.

Dr. James (Jamie) Kane graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. in Biology. He went on to receive his DMD from Tufts School of Dental Medicine and holds a Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Kane serves as a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society, and as the Director of the Massachusetts Association for Orthodontists. Additionally, he is a staff orthodontist at Pappas Rehabilitation Hospitalfor Children and serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Society of Orthodontics.

Dr. Kanes greatest personal interest outside of dentistry is technology. He has lectured at Yankee Dental Congress on integrating the modern dental office with contemporary digital equipment. In addition, he is participating in research that tests the accuracy of digital equipment used in pediatric and orthodontic practices.

Dr. Rachel Boschetti grew up in Reading, Massachusetts. She earned her bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Boston University. Dr. Boschetti then went on to receive her doctorate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

After dental school, Dr. Boschetti completed a two-year residency in orthodontics at Tufts University. She is a current member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Association of Orthodontists.

While she is not working, Dr. Boschetti loves to spend time with family and friends, bake sweet treats for her loved ones, and travel to new places. She is excited to be a part of the team at Dental Associates of Walpole and looks forward to giving her patients smiles that they can be proud of!

Dr. Christopher Page graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and went on to receive his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.While in dental schoolhecompleted an externship at Wrentham Development Center, working with special needs patients. Dr. Page alsobecameatrained CEREC dentistin 2006, taking great interest in innovative restorative procedures and technology in dentistry. In addition to his work at Dental Associates of Walpole, he maintains a practice at Page Family Dental in Revere, MA.

Dr. Pageserves asa member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the North Metropolitan Dental Society. Originally from Westwood, MA, he now lives in Boston with his wife andtwo young children. Dr. Pageloves keeping busy with his family, traveling, spending time outdoors, and chasing the family dog, Bluebell, around the park. He is also an avid snowboarder and squash player, enjoys gardening with his daughter, and listening to and recording music.

Dr. Stephanie D'Aprile received her bachelor's degree from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, and her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. D'Aprile received post-doctoral training in implantology, endodontics, aesthetic dentistry and prosthodontics. In addition, she received a certificate in restorative implantology from Branemark Nobelpharma and is CEREC trained. She completed the Tufts Dental Sleep Medicine residency with board examination. Dr. D'Aprile is on staff at Franciscan Hospital for Children where she treats adult patients with special needs. Dr. D'Aprile is amember of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, the Metro-West Dental Society, the International Team for Implantology (ITI), and is a diplomate of the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She is a former commissioned officer of the US Public Health Service Corps. Dr. D'Aprile enjoys spending time with her two adult daughters. She enjoys cooking, tennis,Crossfit, boxing/striking, skiing, mountain biking, and yoga.

Dr. Lyle Smith is a native of Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School in 2007. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Boston University in 2011. Dr. Smith then went on to Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2015 and was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (National Dental Honor Society). Following dental school, Dr. Smith completed a general practice residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He has received recognition for scholastic achievement, ethics, and professionalism through merit by American College of Dentists, the Spencer N. Frankl Award, and the Twiness Society Award. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society. He also enjoys playing golf, traveling, and relaxing at the beach with his family and friends.

Dr. Adams grew up locally in Westwood, MA. He received his B.S. degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH in 2015, and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to achieve his D.M.D. in 2020. While at Tufts Dr. Adams participated in Global Dental Brigades, organizations of students providing access to dentistry abroad in underdeveloped areas. He worked alongside dentists, staff, and local leaders in Panama.

Dr. DiReda grew up in Shrewsbury, MA. He received his bachelors degree at the University of New Hampshire in 2016. There he participated in the Dental Brigades mission to Panama where he helped local residents access dental care in an underserved area. Like his grandfather, uncles, and cousin, Dr. DiReda obtained his D.M.D. at Tufts University in 2020 and received the Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Award. Dr. DiReda completed a General Practice residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont treating both suburban and rural communities.

Dr. Ishaan Goel is a resident of Boston, MA. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College, a Masters in Oral Health Science from Boston University, and a D.M.D. from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school Dr. Goel completed an externship in Fort Myers, FL, where he worked with an underserved population. He also co-founded the Student Dental Aesthetics society and served in various leadership positions. Dr. Goel proudly serves as a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society.

Dr. Steven Saunders received his B.S. degree from Boston College and his D.M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed a general practice residency at the Public Health Service Hospital in Staten Island, N.Y. and received his certificate in endodontics from Tufts University. Dr. Saunders is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Association of Endodontists, and the West Metropolitan Study Club of the Massachusetts Dental Society. He is board certified in endodontics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Saunders is also a part-time faculty member in the Department of Endodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and maintains a private practice limited to endodontics in Natick, MA.

Dr. Michael Palys received his B.A. from Temple University, his D.M.D. from Temple University School of Dentistry and his Masters of Medical Science (M.M.Sc.) from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, and has been affiliated with the International and American Association for Dental Research and the Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr. Palys has published several scientific articles on periodontics, and has worked with numerous research teams at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and Forsyth Dental Center. He was a Research Fellow in the Department of Periodontology at Harvard, and a clinical research investigator at the Boston Oral Health Clinical Resource Center. In addition, he was a clinical instructor at the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene and in Forsyth Dental Centers Periodontal Residency Program.

Dr. Palys was also a research volunteer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institutes Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology. When not dazzling the patients of Dental Associates of Walpole, he works asa periodontist at HarvardDental Center Cambridge, which serves the entire Harvard University community. He is also a predoctoral faculty instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Palys and his wife, Margaret, have three daughters, Caroline, Ella and Lidia. When hes not treating periodontal issues, Dr. Palysenjoys watching his children participatein competitive softball or an occasional musical performance.

Dr. Justin Mull graduated from Cornell Universitys department of Biological Sciences in 1995. He earned his degree in dental medicine from Tufts University in 2002 and completed residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in 2009. As chief resident, he performed cleft lip and palate surgery in Venezuela, reconstructive surgery in Ethiopia, orthognathic surgery and treatment of patients with oral pathology in Saratoga Springs and Brooklyn, NH.

Dr. Mull teaches oral surgery residents of the Boston University School of Dental Medicine and is a clinical faculty member of the Veterans Hospitals of the Greater Boston Healthcare System. At the Boston VA hospital, Dr. Mull and the residents place an average of 200 dental implants a year. Active in local and national dental societies, Dr. Mull is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Association, American Dental Association, as well as local and national associations of oral and maxillofacial surgeons.

Dr. Bateman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biology at the University of Utah. He then completed his dental degree at Northwestern Dental School. While attending Northwestern Dental School, he graduated at the top of his class, earning multiple awards, including; Alpha Omega Award, Highest Academic Standing, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award, Academy of Operative Dentistry Award, David C. Shapiro Scholarship Grant, Paul W. Clopper Memorial Scholarship Grant. He was also nominated into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society.

Dr. Bateman also attended the University of Texas Health Science Center, for additional training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In his Chief Residency year, he scored 100 on his in-service exam, which was the highest score in the nation. On completion of his residency program, Dr. Bateman received his Medical Doctorate, Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and a one year Certificate in General Surgery.

Dr. Bateman is a Fellow of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Utah Association of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons, and the American Medical Association.

Pam has been with Dental Associates of Walpole since 2005 and is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation and overall direction of the practice. She works closely with the doctors and staff to create procedures and workflow policies to maintain highest standard of care for patients and their families. Pams goal at the end of the day is to make sure the patients are receiving the best dental care while having a positive experience.

Eleanor has been with Dental Associates of Walpole since 1994 and has worked in all areas of the practice. A graduate of the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists, Eleanor has extensive experience in Pediatric, Periodontic, Orthodontic, and General Dentistry. As the Clinic Director, she is responsible for making sure that every patient receives the best dental treatment, and is available to answer questions or concerns a patient may have about their treatment. Eleanor has always loved medicine and dentistry and is excited to be in a field that is constantly changing and improving with new technologies and procedures that directly benefit patients.

Amanda has been with Dental Associates of Walpole since 2012 and is responsible for the management of the Pediatric and Orthodontic front desk. She enjoys meeting new patients, answering their questions, and makes sure that all of our patients and their families have a positive experience while visiting our office. Amanda and her team share the same goal, do what it takes to make our patients smile!
