Dr. Holcomb has been in the private practice of Family and General Dentistry in Warner Robins, Georgia since 1974. Born in Macon, Georgia, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and received his D.M.D. degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1974. Dr. Holcomb has served as president of the Central District Dental Society, president of the Georgia Board of Dentistry, president of the Houston County Dental Society, Chairman of the SRTA Examination Committee, Chairman of the Examiner Review Committee and president of the Southern Regional Testing Agency. Dr. Holcomb is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy and is also an Honorable Fellow Award recipient of the Georgia Dental Association. He is a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Medical College of Georgia and the Vocational Award for Excellence in Medical Service from the Warner Robins Rotary Club.
Dr. Holcomb served as the Chairman of the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations. He also served as Chairman of the National Common Criteria Committee and as Chairman of the Examination Committee for the American Board of Dental Examiners (ADEX) from 2005-2008. He was a Scoring Area Coordinator for the Southern Regional Testing Agency and a Consultant Examiner for the North East Regional Board. He currently serves as a Chief Examiner for the Central Regional Dental Testing Service (CRDTS), Chairman of the Dental Examination Review Committee (2008-2013) and as a National Licensure Consultant and site evaluator for the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Dr. Holcomb served on the Georgia Board of Dentistry from 1991 2001 and 2003 - 2018 having served four terms as President of the Georgia Board and Chairman of the Investigative Committee. Dr. Holcomb has made over 125 presentations on clinical licensure format and regulatory issues.
Dr. Holcomb and his wife, Robin, have four children, Steve Jr. (Tiffany), Heather (Brad), Skyler and Rey. They have three grandchildren. Their interests include water skiing, snow skiing, scuba diving, hunting, fishing, farming and travel.

Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our staff is CPR certified. The assistants are certified under the Georgia Board of Dentistry rules and regulations in expanded duties. All of our clinical staff is constantly continuing their education on the latest that technology has to offer.

My visit at Beautiful Smiles of Byron was very good. Everyone was so nice and they were on top of their job. Would definitely recommend them.

I absolutely love Dr. Bernardo and all the office staff! They are kind, compassionate, and very professional. Dr. Bernardo is so kind and attentive, and definitely a perfectionist. I have had 4 crowns done by her and, even through the difficult parts, she remained calm and collected and got it all handled! I absolutely recommend her and the entire office for your dental needs.
