Dr. Oliver Sun grew up 40 miles southwest of London, England, in the small town of Guildford. He eventually moved to Toronto, Canada, where he attended high school and completed his undergraduate degree. He decided to move to the United States to attend dental school in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated second in his class from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 2015. It was in dental school that he met his wife, a dentist as well and a native of Westlake, Ohio. They decided to practice in the New York/Connecticut area after graduation since neither of them had experienced living in the big city. After practicing general dentistry for three years in Connecticut, and completing a six month mini-residency for esthetics and implant dentistry, Dr. Sun and his wife decided to move back home, closer to friends and family in Ohio. Dr. Sun joins us from Port Clinton, Ohio, where he has been practicing dentistry for the past few years. In Dr. Suns free time he loves to play basketball, travel and explore new places with his family and friends.
Dr. Sun is proficient in several areas of dentistry such as cosmetic restorations, fillings, veneers, crowns and bridges. Dr. Suns extensive training allows him to provide more complex procedures to our patients such as root canals, oral surgery procedures, bone augmentation, gum surgery, Invisalign as well as the surgical placement of implants and implant restorations.
Our goal is to inspire others and generate confidence through a healthy smile. We plan to accomplish this by using the best technology, quality materials, and utmost respect toward each and every person. With the trust of all our patients and through genuine relationships, we are excited to examine, diagnose, treat, and maintain your oral and overall health. Dr. Danielle M. Daoud enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and believes there is always something new to learn in the field. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Greater Cleveland Dental Society. She also attends continuing education courses annually to stay at the forefront of the profession. She values treating each patient with care and compassion while creating only the most comfortable environment for her patients. When Dr. Daoud isnt in the office, she enjoys being in the company of her friends and family, traveling with her husband, and being outdoors.
We fell in love with The Dental Associates of Lyndhurst and would love to get to know all of the patients so we can continue the legacy and vision of the office. Thank you for taking the time to read about our story, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Nothing was found which was good, but I still feel aching. Now I can't tell if it's coming from the side or back, aching, throbbing a little. Everyone working in the office is great. I always have a pain free experience here, that's why I don't mind coming back here, this time I chose the wrong tooth for them to view, I should have let them do their job, I was wrong but I'm making another appointment asap

Over billed me.. the staff at counter could not tell me the price of service or even estimate until directly after the dentist appointment (I.E) work had been done. Incompetent administrative staff the Actually dentist and hygienist are good.

Yesterday, I had a visit with Dr. Sun for gum deep cleaning, of several lower back teeth. Procedure was actually fairly painless and quick. Dr. Sun and Sara worked together very well. I highly recommend this practice based on my visit yesterday and in the past.

Pristine customer service is alive and well at Lyndhurst Dental Associates. From the welcoming that I received from Dawn, to the telephone conversations with Sue, to the care of the hygenist, Sarah, and the expertise of Dr. Sun.....I am so happy that I found this office. A+ to all involved.

Wonderful experience!! - The staff was super inviting and kind - The office smelled so clean and looked very organized - They didn't force me into any treatments that were unnecessary but still addressed my concerns. - The dentist was gentle and thorough with the cleaning. Super friendly also! I , as many, am not thrilled about dental visits but I can say that I have finally found a place I am comfortable with 5/5 Highly Recommend!

I don't personally go there, I called to see if they accepted my insurance. I spoke with Dawn, she was so pleasant has great customer service. She took the time out to direct me to a few Dental places she knew that accepted the insurance I had. I appreciated that very much! If they did accept my insurance , Im sure I would be a happy patient.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Every staff member was incredibly kind, comforting and sincere. Dr. Sun is extraordinarily skilled- the kind of dentist you would want for yourself and those you hold dear. He was empathetic, honest with my options for my broken tooth, efficient and gentle. His assistant Sarah exhibited the same qualities. I felt such a sense of relief after- first that my tooth was fixed but moreover that I am grateful to have found such an incredible dentist. After experiencing some traumatic dental episodes with another dentist earlier this year, I can confidently and happily say I will be a patient of Dr. Sun for life.

This was somewhat of an urgent issue and I was able to get an appointment in a timely fashion. I was warmly greeted when I arrived and after some preliminary paperwork and an X-ray, it wasn't long before Dr. Sun looked in on me. He explained what he saw on the X-ray and explained in detail what he thought the problem was. Fortunately, the solution was a simple one. Everyone in the office was warm, kind and helpful. I will be switching to Dental Associates of Lyndhurst for my future dental work.

I went to one of those major chains (hint...it shares it's name with a ski town in Colorado). After they tried to sell me a $5K+ bill of goods, I called here on recommendation from both my mother and brother. The staff could not have been more pleasant, gentile and forthright. They saved me literally thousands of dollars with a much more simplified, yet aggressive treatment process. I'm already looking forward to future visits.

I love, love, love my dentists! The assistants and the entire team are exceptional. A plus service from the time you step into the door until you leave and beyond. Very clean environment. Dr. Sun is my primary dentist. He is gentle, detail oriented and attentive. Quite knowledgeable and answers questions in an understandable way. The work he has done for me has changed my smile and I am well pleased. On top of that I am convinced that he recognizes me every time and knows my name. It doesn't matter if it's true or not , I appreciate it and is a testament to him professionally. Enter his wife, Dr. Daoud she has been my superhero more than once when there was a real or perceived emergency. The team has fit me into her schedule at a time that worked best. She has the calmest voice I've ever heard from a dentist. It's almost whisper like but she is speaking clear enough to be heard. My point it's reassuring to know that she wields this super power for good because it calms anxiety quite well. She is thorough and does not make me feel like she rushing me, although I know she fit me into her schedule. I more than appreciate these dental associates and I gladly recommend their services. I have even experienced them calling to check on me after receiving care. Everyone must experience this type of care from a dental office. Oh did I mention, that they don't "nickel and dime" you. I needed a small adjustments in my bite after a service and they didn't charge me just for walking in the door.

Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional with the utmost concern for the health of your teeth. I am very satisfied with their service and highly recommend this dental office for all your dental needs. I always receive excellent service from the time I walk in and leave the office.
