In the more than 20 years Ive been practicing, I have had the privilege of treating multiple generations of families in the Lake Jackson community. The relationships weve built have made my career more rewarding than I ever thought possible.
I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelors degree in business administration, with an emphasis in marketing and management. I later received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston.
Since completing my formal education, I have dedicated my career to maintaining a commitment to excellence in oral healthcare and cosmetic dentistry. I make it my goal to provide the best in technological dentistry in an upbeat, caring, and comforting environment. I take part in many advanced continuing education courses to provide the most up-to-date dental care to my patients. I attend the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) and am an active member ofthe American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.
I am a lifelong Texan and currently reside in Lake Jackson. My wife Christy and I have been married for 23 years. We have three childrenLindy, Layne, and Landonas well as two large dogs:a Golden Retriever and a Yellow Lab. When Im not working, you will find me spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy music and the great outdoors.
My family and I work to support a variety of community programs in our area. We are longtime members of our church, and I have served on the boards of several community organizations. I believe in our community and work to shop local and support other local small businesses.

Dr. Koury and his staff go above and beyond what is expected. He was so kind and considerate in helping me regain the health of my teeth. Being a Sjogrens patient can be very frustrating, expensive and painful. He helped me see a way through the long list of what needed to be done. His assistants are so sweet and experts in their field. Marilyn and the office staff helped me feel comfortable and cared about!!! Such a wonderful experience everytime. And that says ALOT being I am talking about a dentist.

This was my first visit with Dr. Koury DDS and I must say he is absolutely amazing, so friendly and fully explained the procedures that I needed. His staff from the front desk to his assistant are so friendly and helpful. I felt so comfortable being at the dentist office.

The staff at Dr. Koury's office is unsurpassed in their professionalism, care and courtesy. Dr. Koury makes me feel like I am his only patient. He is caring, highly skilled and professional, and personable. I've been to Dentists in the past that remind me of shady new car salesmen trying to sell you as many services as possible. Dr. Khoury meets your needs, Listens to you and let's you make the decisions regarding your care after he's giving you all the detailed options. His service quality is unsurpassed and his charges are extremely reasonable.

Dr. Koury and staff are the best I've been their patient for 28 yrs. Both my children are also his patients and we won't ever change dentists. Laurie is the best hygienist as well she checks you thoroughly for thyroid, mouth, and throat cancer. She saved my life in 2010 when she found a lump on my throat which turned out to be thyroid cancer. Thank you Laurie you're an Angel

Tina did my cleaning and X-rays. She made the whole experience fantastic. She's very friendly and explained everything she was doing. Dr Koury was great also. Very professional and thorough. The place looks really nice as well.

Everyone in the office is so friendly and pleasant. It is always a great experience. Dr. Koury is excellent, great bedside manor. Very personable and takes the time to explain things. Today, I had all 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed by Dr. Pham in the office. Again, he was wonderful. Took time to explain everything to me and the procedure went well.

I just had a tooth removed and it was one of the best experiences I have had. The crown that was on the tooth popped right off and broke some of the tooth so the only solution was to have it removed. Dr. Kory explained everything to me and helped calm my nerves and made my experience pain free.The staff was super polite, courteous, and I was in and out of there in about an hour. Highly recommend Dental Associates of Lake Jackson.
