Dr. Kuitems, as the senior member of Dental Associates, has extensive experience and training in all phases of restorative, endodontic, implant and aesthetic dentistry. His friendly, kind and patient disposition, along with his clinical expertise, will ensure you have a pleasant dental experience.
He graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University College of Dentistry and completed his residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He is a charter member of the Morris Study Club and a member of the ADA, NJ Dental Association and the Tri-County Dental Society. Dr. Kuitems resides in Bernardsville with his wife and son and keeps busy with his church activities and many outdoor hobbies.

On a personal level, Dr. Faltas is a proud husband and father of three children. He resides with his family in Basking Ridge. He is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry and completed his residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. A member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and the Tri-County Dental Society, Dr. Faltas continually participates in continuing education courses in order to provide his patients with the expertise and quality care they deserve.
You will always feel right at home with Dr. Bills warm, honest and enthusiastic personality. He has a great sense of humor and will always take the time to listen to your questions and concerns. The excellent dental skills he has developed, combined with his gentleness and compassion, have endeared him to seniors and children alike.
Dr. Bill has lived in Basking Ridge since 1998 and loves spending his time with his wife, daughter, son, and large extended family. His love of children has prompted him to participate each year since 2001 in a mission trip to Honduras, where he provides dental care for needy children. He is an avid fan of all sports, theater, boating and the beach.
A graduate of our own Rutgers University and UMDNJ he also completed a General Practice Residency at Hackensack Medical Center. His career began in Ridgewood, NJ, working 4 years for a branch office of an exclusive Manhattan cosmetic and dental reconstruction group. After that, he had his own private dental practice in Plainfield for 9 years before joining Dental Associates. Dr. Bill has extensive experience and skills in cosmetic and implant dental techniques along with routine restorative procedures. Continuing Education has always been a passion for him, and this passion drives him to stay abreast of the most current dental techniques and technology in order to provide the very best care to his patients.

Dr. Ratz is the tooth whisperer and a true artist. Even though we don't still live in the area we try to go see him when ever we are in the area visiting. Over the years, and many they were, Dr. Ratz always offered and performed what was the right treatment to preserve and give us many years with our natural teeth; including crowned or veneered. I call him an artist because he finally got me to let him remove a bottom front baby tooth that was to be mine forever and replace the space with a three tooth porcelain bridge. I couldn't be happier. Following that he contoured the rest of my front teeth slightly, removing the tips of my fangs and giving me straight looking teeth. He is such a good guy and I still reach out to him just to keep in touch and occasionally for dental advise. He has always been responsive. Our son, whom still lives in the Tri-State area has made Dr. Ratz his dentist. Dr Ratz, thanks for a mouth full of my teeth, atleast the roots.

Dental Associates of Basking Ridge is without question the finest dental practice I have been to. Over my lifetime there have been other dentists I have been treated by...but Dr. Ratz and the staff here have delivered superior dentistry and also I always feel like they really listen to my concerns and work with me and address my needs. I am using this facility for last 12 years and found on the top of list. This is considering staff such as - doctors, hygienists, reception, finance and billing and administration. They are all very customer focused and always helpful. Recently I went on Nov 25 2020 for my regular teeth cleaning and mouth checkup. I consider this is must to maintain good healthy teeth which processed out food for good nutrition to maintain healthy body. I found doctors, and hygienist taking extra precautions to protect patients against COVID 19 threat. I have seen they wear two masks, there is drain / exhaust pipe running to take away mouth air out and also filtration unit running to clean air/ virus from room. Initially when you arrive at facility the nurse comes out and take your Oxygen level and Temperature to make sure you are normal before allowing to enter the facility. As such I am satisfied with current arrangement in this unit. I RANA

I am so grateful for finding DABR. I previously had a very verbally abusive dentist who was incompetent and substandard in practice and workmanship. I refer to him as the "Devil Dentist of Chatham". Finding DABR and Dr. Kuitems (eleven years ago) changed my attitude and approach to the dental experience. The ladies at the front desk treat me as a friend whom they are genuinely happy to see. Dr. Kuitems' assistant, Erica, greets me and escorts me back to Dr. K's room. ( Or Jeff greets me and takes me back to give my teeth a fine-tuned check-up.) Dr. Kuitems enters with a big smile and a fun anecdote. The appointment runs smoothly. I ask a lot of questions which Dr. K thoroughly answers. My anxieties have disappeared. I am comfortable and confident that all is good. I feel respected and validated. AND ... above all... Dr. Kuitems' workmanship, character, kindness and ethics are qualities of the quintessential dentist ... and HUMAN BEING ...that he is .

Been going to this practice forever!! Always professional, always kind and a lot of laughter (which is hard to do with a mouth full of instruments). Dr. Ratz and Deb are the best and solved my gum problems. I highly recommend their services.
