Would highly recommend Dental Associates on 9th. Very friendly service and gentle with their cleanings! Dr. Shaw is especially friendly and wears flavored gloves. Suck on them when he's not expecting it to see the flavor of the day! Can't wait for my next appointment.

Dr. Shaw called to see how I was doing after a dental procedure and I can't say just how appreciative I am that he called to check up on me. I am so glad I picked a great dentist that cares. He also does great work!

Dental Associates is awesome. After forgetting my appointment, they were able to see me the next day! The care I received was beyond exceptional and every question I had was answered completely. I highly recommend Dr. Shaw and his staff.

Wednesday; August 10, 2022; Des Moines, Iowa Reader/patient/neighbor/referral, Dr. Ryan P. Shaw (Dr. Ryan) shows exceptional empathy, respect, concern and gentleness while engaging in my rehabilitative dental work. His Dental Assistants are equally concerned, add humor and clarification, show x-rays and photos to calm and clarify the dental procedures which I've invested in this spring and summer of 2022. I have one friend who was able to schedule an appointment within a week, with Dr. Ryan;. Meanwhile over the past month, she had several other dental offices turn her down once she had driven over 40 miles one-way into their DSM Metro offices. Unstated was her loss of time, travel, and her growing frustration. Dr. Ryan has a sense of humor which emerges in his conversations with patients and staff. His sense of balance per science and art are apparent in the conscientious professional work he did on my cavities. I would recommend the young, talented, respectful, empathetic, respectful and conscientious Dr. Ryan P. Shaw to you, your family, neighbors and co-workers, Quinn Fairchild, BS, MS
