We offer our course four times a year; in January, April, June and September. Our hours are from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., with a half-hour lunch break and two 10-minute breaks. The following subjects are covered in depth from both a didactic and a practical clinical experience. The morning lecture is followed by an afternoon of clinicalhands on trainingin dental procedures, operation of equipment, instrumentation and materials used. Upon graduation you will be a registered Dental Assistant in the state of Washington!
Our Dental Assistant course is designed to give the student maximum hands-on training and experience in an actual dental office with an additional large classroom using mannequins, each other (for live feedback) and real patients. The teaching is stimulating, fast paced, and relies heavily on individual participation. There will bethree instructorsper group oftwelve students. This insures personal attention and a worthwhile learning experience. A syllabus containing notes on lecture material as well as an excellent textbook and handouts are provided so as to heighten the classroom experience and eliminate the fatigue of a lot of note taking.

I had a wonderful experience with this program! Danielle is an amazing instructor and has done a great job organizing this class. I gained a lot from this program and found a job before graduating! Leslie and Angela are also wonderful instructors. They were very helpful and gave great tips and tricks when it came to the hands on work. Working on real patients is a plus. Definitely recommend this class!!

I went to school here and I graduated 7 months ago. I learned so much and it set me up so well for my job. I am now working in orthodontics as a dental assistant and this class helped me so much! They teach you so much and everything is hands on. Daniel and her assistants are great and you make so many friends. So happy I got to do this course!

I am a former graduate student from Dental Assistant Training Center. The amount of support and help I got is incredible words aren't enough to express my self towards them their are so helpful/caring they make you feel so welcoming. Having the opportunity to go in for open lab every Wednesday and just study in what you need practice with is so helpful. Outstanding program! Fantastic opportunity to learn real world clinical skills in a school setting with live patients and practicing clinicians to guide your learning. The DATC is one of the premier dental assisting programs in the puget sound with students who have now gone on to work in all avenues of dentistry! On a side note, the view is stellar and I truly love my days there helping out as an RDH!

I have hired several (5!) amazing dental assistants from DATC over the years. They have always arrived well prepared and have become integral to my practice. The dental assistant training center is one of the few places that offers the accelerated DA training. I took the training there and it was an amazing way to prepare me to work in dental clinics! I would recommend the center if you are interested about learning more about dental assisting. Danielle and Monica are amazing people to learn from!!

This is an amazing program. Its perfect for individuals who are motivated to get a quick 12 week crash course in dentistry and dive into the job market. Theres a lot of people who say, "you cant learn dentistry in 12 weeks" but they are truly, truly misinformed. This program is what you put into it... if you take the time to read the material, memorize it, come in for extra hours, and volunteer at local offices for in-office experience you can absolutely learn enough to land you a job. Danielle and Monica were phenomenal... I had a tough situation happen in the midst of the program and they did their best to accommodate me during unforseen circumstances. It was incredibly stressful on top of schooling and a career change-- but they helped me literally change my life. I graduated late due to my situation and when I was handed my certificate of completion and I cried tears of joy and relief and was met with a hug and kind words. Two years after graduation I have a job that I absolutely love and I've doubled my income and it keeps going up. I havent worried about money in a few years now and I would do it all over again.

My name is Keri and I'm a recent graduate (June 24, 2022) of the dental assistant program at the Dental Assistant Training Center in Kenmore, WA. The program was everything I'd hoped it would be and much more!! Danielle, Leslie, Jen, and Angela are great instructors, and they really care about you not only as a student in their program but as you as a person. They want you to be successful!! We learned everything in 11 weeks to be a successful dental assistant... including working on real patients!!! If you are considering dental assistant school let this be the one. I highly recommend it!!!

I just graduated about 2 weeks ago and I had such a great experience at this school and definitely would recommend. Danielle, Leslie, Monica, etc are all amazing instructors. I love how all of them are patient and make sure you understand the lecture and succeed. Also the hands on experience was totally worth it. The environment/staff are just so supporting and loving. They have Lab day which helped me a lot, it's a day for extra practice! I'm so thankful that I joined this school couldn't thank you guys enough.

As a previous student of The Dental Assistant Training Center, I can honestly say I wouldn't be where I am today without Danielle and Monica. They started the journey and my love for the dental field and I still use so much of what I was taught in 2017 in my current job as a dental receptionist. I attended and completed the dental assisting program at the Dental Assisting Training Center and all I have to say are amazing things! Danielle is an outstanding instructor and mentor to have as well as the staff. The classes are convenient for anyone who is busy but trying to start a new career and the classes are the perfect size for that great one on one learning feel! I graduated from this program with a job which Danielle helped me obtain and knowledge that has helped me in the dental field now for 8 years!

As a past graduate of this course, I really enjoyed the hands-on approach that the Dental Assistant Training Center took. All what I learned from the course was definitely relevant during work. I would really recommend this course for anyone who is seeking a career within the dental field.
